United Rehabilitation Services: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Hi what is your name owner of urs i had fun with miss nicky my job Choch
Negative experience: HORRIBLE how my son was treated and would not recommend URS to anyone with special needs. After several emails to the director and owner with NO response . Unacceptable for a place who says they are for people with special needs. I would give zero stars but I had to give 1 to make a comment.
Negative experience: This place is great for children with special needs as long as they don't have negative behaviors. My child has autism so he struggles with self regulation, new environments and social interactions. I had disclosed all of my child's information and behaviors to URS prior to him starting the program. URS did not give my child a chance to acclimate to the new environment nor did they let him or me tour the facility before he started the program. They kicked kicked him out after only 3 days. That doesn't give any child time to adjust to a new environment let alone someone with special needs. They wasted my time and made my son feel like a bad kid.
Fantastic experience: This facility, staff and management are the absolute best in the region. I see a few mixed reviews from people on here and I think it's time to address everything and go over what makes this facility amazing. My daughter has Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. She has multiple seizure types that change often and present themselves in different ways. She is also nonverbal autistic which requires constant care and attention. My daughter needs eyes on her at all times, needs help with eating, has multiple therapies she needs, and on top of all that she can't talk so the communication has to be constant. The amazing staff at URS handles everything with ease. When we first introduced my daughter they were incredibly thorough and made sure to educate themselves on as much as possible. As time has gone by I've seen my little girl go from a nervous shy kid to someone who jumps right into class when I drop her off in the morning. She seems far more prepared for the next level than I could have ever dreamed of. The staff here is top class. They truly love and care about my daughter and there is no better feeling. What really impresses me is whenever I bring something of concern to their attention, it's addressed right away and corrected above and beyond. Just like any care facility we have had some learning curves but whenever something presents itself we tackle it as a team. Next I want to talk about the level the facility is maintained. It's incredibly difficult to keep my house clean with one toddler but they manage to do it with dozens. Every day I come in to get my daughter there is someone cleaning, mopping, sweeping or disinfecting. The classrooms are organized and I am able to bring in anything to make my daughter feel comfortable and know it will be taken care of. Not only is the facility clean but it's also incredibly safe. The doors are always locked and the building is set up to where the only entrance in is past a secretary through double code locked doors. This place is far more secure and clean than any daycare or school I've ever seen. All in all I can't imagine anyone having a child attend this incredible establishment and think poorly of it. My daughter absolutely adores the staff who so closely take care of her every day. They are are like family and I can't think of how we would have survived these last few years without their help. Through ups and downs with my daughters health they have stood by our side and supported us in every way imaginable. There are no other places that come close to what you find behind those doors. We will be forever grateful for URS and it's staff and I know they will leave an impact on my little girl that will last a lifetime.

Fantastic experience: URS is by far the best daycare in the area. From leaderships, to teachers, to staff, to the volunteers. My two children have attended URS for a short period of time but by far it is the best daycare they have been apart of. I can not speak highly enough about Ms Courtney- she truly went above and beyond for my son and he absolutely adores her. She personalized his own cubby and made him feel so welcomed. She would text me pictures and updates thru the day. She even checked on him when he had a medical emergency and was at the ER. She loves her kids in her classroom and you can see it's more than just a job for her. Mrs Tracy Pohlabel is my daughters favorite person. She struggled with he behaviors at time due to some underlying things but Mrs Tracy never took that into consideration or treated her differently. She would paint her nails and give her extra rewards for good days. The kids aren't just kids in a classroom to her- they are HER kids. I have been in awe of her amazing compassion and kindness. She truly goes above and beyond in the most amazing way for every single child. Not to mention Mrs Tracy made the whole process of getting the kids in SO easy compared to others. Having a director who is passionate truly makes a huge difference. Ms. Maggie has been absolutely amazing as well. She adored my daughter as my daughter does her as well. I could go on and on with all the teachers and staff our children love. There is not a single person my kids don't just absolutely adore. I can not speak highly enough about this daycare. We have been absolutely amazed with the care our children have recieved when they have been treated so poorly by other locate daycares simply because of their diagnosis. They are just children at URS and treated as that. All the teachers communication is next level. They know when your child isn't feeling well and will be first to sent you a quick text to just keep you informed. My kiddos LOVED their spirit week and were so excited to get a spirit week like big brother does at "big boy school." They have grown and learned so much in just a short few months. We are heart broken leaving but hopeful for summer care at URS for our kids. I will tell EVERYONE about URS- it is worth the wait! They are a true 5 star daycare. We love you URS!!
Kasey,Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sharing your wonderful experience with URS. Reading your review has filled us all with immense pride and joy, knowing that we've been able to make such a positive impact on your family's life in a relatively short period of time.Your kind words about Ms. Courtney, Mrs. Tracy, Ms. Maggie, and the rest of our team are truly touching. Each staff member at URS is dedicated to creating a nurturing, welcoming, and inclusive environment for every child, and it's heartwarming to hear how their efforts have personally touched your family. We love you too!
Negative experience: Just wish they answer the phone
Negative experience: This place is a joke. They close early whenever they feel like without concern for the parents and the speed bumps in their parking lot are meant to ruin your car. The director does not care at all since it doesn’t involve her. I would not recommend taking your child here.
We're sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction and appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention. We aim to communicate any schedule changes promptly and will review our procedures to better serve our families. We also note your concerns about the speed bumps and will assess their impact on vehicle safety and convenience. Please know, we take your feedback seriously and strive for continuous improvement. We'd value the opportunity to discuss your concerns directly. Feel free to reach out to us at 937-223-1230.
Fantastic experience: I am working there
Negative experience: They never answer there phone

Negative experience: We tried for 2 years to get our daughter into the program here. We applied twice. We came in for interviews and toured the facility. Then just like that they stopped returning phone calls and e-mails. Everything went radio silent and we never heard from them again.
Fantastic experience: Helped me get a job!
Fantastic experience: URS is a lifeline for our family. Our son has been going to URS for over four years and is in the adult services program with a focus on vocational training. URS provides a safe and enriching environment for my son to learn new skills and grow his confidence to hopefully find employment one day. There is so much a parent of a disabled child has to worry about, but I never worry about my son when he is at URS - he loves going and is so happy with the program.
Thank you for your kind words Jodi. We are happy to provide your family with a safe place for your son to attend each day.
Fantastic experience: My child has been attending full time care for 6 months here. He has an individual curriculum and caring teachers. He is thriving with the therapy plans. I really appreciate the services this center offers for special needs families.
We are so happy to hear you are pleased with your care!
Fantastic experience: My granddaughter and I Love the outpatient OT, PT and Speech Therapists and Front Desk staff. We feel so fortunate to have found URS.
We are happy you found us too!
Fantastic experience: I am an hard worker of doing janitorial salary that I'm usually on the clock working 3 days a week by getting minimum wage every 2 weeks way better than getting paid once a month but not I like getting paid every 2 weeks ain't nothing wrong with that. Also I like to do my djing for any of activities in the gym when my boss jared and the lady do financial of our payroll name rachel to let me provide music that I'll be playing in the gym so they would pay me by the hour.
Fantastic experience: We love URS! Our five-year-old son has been receiving preschool, child care, and therapy services for almost a year now, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the programs offered. The staff are caring, qualified professionals who work collaboratively with the parents to make sure the children are getting the best care possible. I am so happy we were referred to this team of caregivers!
Fantastic experience: URS has been nothing but positive for my family. My child has severe autism and all other daycares refused to enroll her or were going to charge me tuition that was extremely high. When I found URS my child was very bored and unhappy during the summer, but the day camp program keeps her busy and her routines similar to the school year. My Child's social skills have grown and her behavior has greatly improved. I am so grateful to URS for giving me a affordable way to enrich my daughter's life. She is so happy there and this summer marks her 8th year in enrollment. I recommend them to everyone!
