Negative experience: They will abuse your grandparents. Please think twice

Negative experience: This facility mistreats their patients.

Negative experience: If you like humiliation and abuse. They protect the abusers and fire whistleblowers. BEWARE!!!

Negative experience: This place has no integrity and on the second floor the aides and other staff hide in the scheduler’s office all day. Management doesn’t speak or acknowledge you, also if there’s any issues they don’t do anything only afterwards like fire or resign you. Wouldn’t recommend for nursing assistants. Lots of favoritisms.

Fantastic experience: My Father was recently a guest here for physical rehab and care after being released from the hospital. Sandy and her staff were great! My father was made to feel comfortable and the staff was always providing updates when requested and proactively.

Fantastic experience: I have been there multiple times. And DJ'd a cook out for them. The facility is very clean, and the staff is awesome! They have so many activities they do with the residents, and are always having fun.

Negative experience: They're closing and merging with another company but didn't have the decency to let me know while I'm in the hospital waiting to go back there. There was always so many mistakes made there with medicine. I was given someone else's medicine all together on morning. Thank God I caught it. Amy is super nice but now I see she's fake too.

Fantastic experience: 1 year ago, my mom was admitted to Grafton Oaks Rehabilitation. She has made tremendous progress. Many thanks to ALL the staff there that have helped along the way! She is doing better than I could ever imagine. Superior facility and staff!

Fantastic experience: Since I started working at grafton 3 yrs ago. I love working there great staff. Great residents I love . The staff will do anything for the residents . Make sure they have everything they need. MsHamilton make sure her staff is good all the way around. . N it's a great place to work n to bring yr love ones too

Positive experience: Took my brother here a year or so ago from the hospital for rehab before he could come home. I was an aid many years ago and I also cared for our father until a few weeks before his death. I have some idea of the work and efforts required. Having said all of this and reading the other reviews I felt compelled to comment. Not every home is good and not every home is bad. It is the degree of effort put in not only by the employees but the family as well. If you dump your loved on off for someone else to care for then you are no better than the staff you complain about. If you are engaged and make an effort to be present then you are aware of the issues and are able to deal with them appropriately. Would I personally choose this place for myself? Maybe. Would I choose this place fir my brother ? Originally probably not, but I am not making the choice. My brother stayed here for 2 months and he now wants to go back there to live. He said they are not perfect,but neither is living at home. What they are is people who have real emotions and real everyday issues who are there with him and for him. He said they are short staffed but make the effort to help him as much as possible. They aren't always there immediately when he pushes the button but they show up and are kind and care about his needs. He wants to be where people are real and do care about him as a person. He thinks they do here with and without all of their flaws. They aren't perfect bit the amount of time I put in during and after hours will be what helps to make the difference. From what I saw these people wouldn't be there if they didn't care. It sure in the hell isn't for the money because there are way easier jobs out there that makes more money than this. It is because they care even with all of their flaws. If you can do better than keep your loved ones at home and care for them yourselves.

Negative experience: The nastiest nursing home to work in period.. and the residents have no hope at all

Negative experience: I hope you are happy with what you did to my family my grandma died in here bc of negligence. My mother talked to my grandma at 6 pm on 1/12/21 well one of your nurses claim that they gave my grandma her medicine at 4 pm and came back and she was unresponsive she performed cpr and then pronounced her dead at 5 pm try another lie. And shortly after my grandpas credit cards were stolen. Hope you like court bc that’s where I’m taking this. Say her name Lorraine Sue Massie. Also didn’t inform the family until 4-5 hours later of her death

Fantastic experience: This Family Owned Nursing Home/Rehab Goes above an beyond there duty..All places have issues it's how quick they are dealt with here..

Negative experience: By all means if you are searching for a place to send your loved one or a place to work, this is NOT the place!!! This place has no moral value to them at all. The facility is not clean and most of all the residents are not properly cared for. There is a energy of negativity over this place, the residents seem very unhappy and depressed on top of the negelance that is clearly visible due to the horrible appearance of the residents. If you have any humanity , then please take this review into heave and bypass Grafton Oaks on all aspects!!!

Fantastic experience: There is always room for improvement for every business you run; however Grafton Oaks is a great place for your love one to stay. They will be happy and loved.

Negative experience: The staff is rude, it is a very disturbing place to visit, it seems like the place for people that have been forgotten by society. From the moment I walked into Grafton Oaks I felt depressed and just had a very negative vibe, this place is a great example of why you should always visit a nursing facility before sending a loved there. NEVER TRUST REVIEWS!

Negative experience: WARNING: The 5 star ratings are not from customers they are from staff members What in the HELL! everything in the room is beat up or wore out. Dingy white pillows. If you don't do your families laundry the clothes end up missing. Wheelchair missing foot rests. The TVs don't work correctly. Service may be decent however the presentation is TRASH

The Professional Administrative Team has such deep Caring & Love for our Residents & their Families and The Grafton Oaks Employees and their Families as well. Grafton is far and above the Best Nursing Facility I've had the pleasure to call my Work Home. I am very Proud and Happy to be a part of the last Privately Owned Nursing Centers in the Gem City Area.
