Fantastic experience: I was referred to Your Neighbor Physical Therapy by a friend after suffering from a severe pinched nerve in my neck. Initially, I sought help from traditional doctors, who either suggested seeing more specialists or prescribed medication to manage the pain without addressing the underlying issue. From my first meeting with Jack Pan, I felt understood and cared for. He was friendly, empathetic, and genuinely listened to my concerns and anxieties. Jack asked detailed questions and responded with a knowledgeable action plan tailored to my needs, setting realistic goals for my recovery. Throughout my visits, Jack consistently checked in on my progress and adjusted the plan if necessary to ensure I was on the right track. In my case, dry needling proved to be the most effective treatment for the pinched nerve. After just one session, I experienced some relief, and after about six visits, the pain had significantly subsided. Of course, everyone's healing journey is different, but Jack's personalized approach made a real difference. He takes the time to listen to you and understand not only your physical issues, but how they are impacting your life. I went in for plantar fasciitis, which is 80% healed, and is also treating some significant neck pain. I'm having dry needling and he's also doing PT on my neck and arm. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Jack for my low back pain since June 2023. Having gone to PT via the usual doctor-referred, clinical route, I wasn't quite making the progress I had hoped. Fantastic experience: I first consulted Jack Pan for a shoulder injury. That has been resolved, and I am continuing with him to address chronic back and hip pain due to scoliosis and degenerative changes. Jack is very skilled, and he uses some very helpful techniques, such as dry needling, to reduce pain. One of the best things is that Jack is independent, not a part of one of the monster groups that have swallowed up most independent practitioners. Therefore, he can design a treatment plan collaboratively with the patient, rather than being constrained to a one-size-fits-all protocol. His fees are reasonable, and he is personable and easy to work with.

Fantastic experience: After dealing with some congenital lower back issues for years, I sought out PT. I went to 22 PT visits with the largest health provider in the area, but at a certain point, my health insurance carrier said no more. I sought out a private PT and luckily I found Jack! I met with him, and he spent a great deal of time investigating my pain history, explained how he worked, and I was sold (without any pressure). We worked out a treatment plan for me to receive both PT, mobilization, and some dry needling. After 4 visits, I was feeling much better. I will continue to use Jack for maintenance and any issues that pop up in the future. I can't say enough about his friendly, warm, and fun demeanor. He has a great sense of humor. Negative experience: I came to Jack with a neck problem and left with a mid and low back problem caused by a herniated disc from the very forceful manipulation to the left side of my mid back that went too far. It has been 6 weeks and I'm still in constant pain and have spent thousands to diagnose and treat it. I did not have any mid or low back pain or issues prior to the manipulation Jack performed.

Fantastic experience: I was in an automobile accident back in August of 2021. My neck was injured in the crash, I had limited ROM with side-side range, and looking up and down, my neck would cause me to snap awake at night with a shooting pain and after doing months of PT at another location I believed that my neck would never be the same again. It was at another specialist who had informed me about Dr. Pan and said he might be able to help relieve some of the pain and limited range of motion. Dr. Pan immediately went to work on getting my pain under control and improving my ROM. After the first visit I noticed more improvement than in the months following my last PT experience. Dr. Pan is innovative in his treatment and research of neck injuries and he listened to my concerns and really cared about getting my neck healed. I have only had 6 sessions and I believe that my neck will be back to pre-accident status soon. I highly recommend Dr. Pan if you are suffering from pain, especially related to neck injuries.

Fantastic experience: A small business practice like Your Neighbor PT is not only a place to get some more personal and hands on care, where as PT practice associated with a hospital can be much more of a funnel system where you'll find some PTs going from patient to patient with minimum care, which also can take a very long time to even get an appointment. Dr. Jack Pan is a nice friendly person that cares about his patients that can give you the personal care you need. He is also very passionate about what he does and that alone can go a long way.

Then explained to me all of my options as well as an estimated time of recovery. Fantastic experience: Jack is very professional and very helpful. I hurt my low back weeks ago, I couldn’t walk without taking any painkillers. My left thigh and my hips were hurting too. After seeing Jack, my pain reduced from 7.5 to 5. I went back to Jack the following week, and my pain was reduced even more, from 6 to 2.5. He uses dry needling and that relieves my pain effectively. I came in after a month of suffering from neck pain, knots in every muscle from my neck to mid back, plus a pinched nerve in my arm that was affecting the movement of my fingers. He's a good listener, personable, and relaxing to be around. Best of all, for an hour appointment, you get his full attention for that entire hour! I've been to different chiropractors and physical therapists before, and I only got maybe 5-10 minutes of the doctors time, before I was passed off to a recent college grad who would watch me stretch, give a cursory massage, or set me up in a traction device I have at home. Jack was hands on for my entire visits, using his intuitive senses to stretch, massage and manipulate my neck to relief! He uses dry needling therapy, I admit I was skeptical, but I'm a believer now. I could palpably feel the tension in my knotted up back release with the needling. In just 2 visits I was 95% better. This man will put himself out of business with therapy this good. Next time, as this has been a come and go occurance from being hit by a car, I won't wait a month to see him, and I don't recommend you do either!

Fantastic experience: I have had trouble with range of movement in my neck and pain in my shoulders for quite some time. Massages are wonderful but they offer temporary relief. I have a chiropractor that I really like a lot, but this is making a bigger difference. Jack takes plenty of time with you and listens to what you are saying. He treated my mother like an individual, not a number or just a person to make money off of. He genuinely cares about his patients. Great guy, very knowledgeable and I would recommend him to all my friends and family.
