Fantastic experience: The staff and clinicians are very thoughtful and hardworking. They all share useful education and make everyone feel accepted and included! I learn something new every day I go in. The front desk staff is very patient and welcoming. If you are referred to come here for PT, I would definitely look forward to it!

They are very knowledgeable and I am making good progress. I have mainly been treated by Sam and Chris. Sam is very professional and patient. Chris is also patient but he is more comedic which for me makes him easy to talk to. They have both been fantastic in their own way. I highly recommend.

Negative experience: Worst experience I’ve ever had, caused more harm than anything. walked in fine and left barely able to walk and in tears at least 4 times in 3weeks for a hip sprain. All therapist could say was “sorry”. Completely condescending and never listened when I said I was in pain and that he was pushing me too hard too fast. Noted I refused to do any exercises when I said I physically could NOT do what he asked. PT/PTAs were always working on up to 5 people at a time and couldn’t keep things straight, were never thorough in care, and were usually too busy walking away (in the middle of active care) to talk to coworkers about the “game bracket of the day” (ie favorite food, favorite show, nostalgia items) to actually tend to patients. I wouldn’t wish this place on anyone.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Athletico for a long time with a hip issue. They have helped me greatly to just try to stay on even keel with it. Scott and Sam continue to provide a welcoming atmosphere as well as therapy that helps. I also look forward to working with Ryan as he comes onboard. Deja upfront always greets with a smile. She also makes scheduling and payments a breeze. I have worked with a number of Rehab Aides in my time there also. These folks have helped to create a positive experience too. Jeff is one of many that I have worked with recently. He helps to keep it fun. I cannot say enough about the positive experience I have had there.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to PT many places over the years, and this is at the top. Individual attention to how you are doing the exercises to get greatest benefit and focus on the client throughout each session. A friend recommended I come here, as did my primary care doc and I’m glad I did — and it’s only the end of week 1!

Fantastic experience: What impressed me was how well run the Athletco office on Rt 741 in Miamisburg is. Scott and Sam did an excellent job of helping my knee get better. They provided many different exercises to stretch and strengthen muscles in my hips and knees. I would recommend them to anyone needing therapy.

Fantastic experience: I enjoy my physical therapy visits at Athletico Dayton South! Everyone is friendly, helpful and attentive to how you are feeling - what exercises work for you & which ones don't, all while teaching you how to move or correct the movements to aid not just in recovery but also ongoing to help you strengthen muscles to prevent future injury. I will miss them when my therapy is done but I will always appreciate how much they have helped me recover and continue being active!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Athletico Dayton South for about two weeks. Every member of the team has been encouraging, friendly, professional and excellent at communicating with me, addressing my issues and helping me improve my mobility. Scott, Nathan, Jeff, Deja, Leslie and MacKenzie do a wonderful job of helping me move through my journey and focus on my goals.

Negative experience: So they did reach out to me today to discuss this whole episode just wanted to make that clear Ok so I read your reply about you would be reaching out to me four weeks ago, but I still haven’t heard a word I gave my review about three weeks ago or so , I notice when people give great reviews they get a nice reply , but when you give a bad review after a horrible experience there , not one single reply . If I could give zero stars I would , so I gave one star , I walked into this facility three weeks after total knee replacement , no crutches or cane needed , home health care team for two weeks had me doing great , need some range of motion work but not a whole lot . Very first thing therapist had me do was to sit down on straight chair and stand up without using hands to help myself ! Three times , it hurt but I followed directions , after fact asked my surgeon about this he said that’s too early , so two days later I go back next therapist kept pushing on my knee very hard and I told him it hurt bad , he said sorry we gotta get it to move , next day I could hardly walk for three days , went back following week had 3 sessions all 80 min long and very intense , then fourth session he had me taking long strides , I stepped and felt it pop and went down , tore the wound completely open. You could see muscle and tissue , tore quad muscle when this happensed , rescue squad took me to hospital , had emergency surgery to repair torn quad muscle they put me in cast for 8 weeks and now I’m. In a brace for 4 more weeks ! I feel they just pushed me way too hard therapist even told me we are gonna keep doing more you’re gonna be worn out when you leave ! like I said I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, walked in doing great and left on stretcher

He explains what he wants me to do, he then shows me what to do, taking into account my pain level while trying to strengthen my muscles. I highly recommend Ryan or any other therapist at the Miamisburg office, they are all wonderful

Positive experience: The staff has been friendly, supportive and had worked with me to develop my rehabilitation plan. So far, my pain has dramatically decreased and unlike other rehabilitation experiences, I look forward to my sessions.

Fantastic experience: I have only been for PT a couple of times now for my troubles with my neck, shoulders, and upper back. From the very beginning, I have been highly impressed with Athletico! Fantastic experience: This facility endeavors to make your physical therapy experience positive, imparting physical movement techniques and exercises that reduce discomfort and ease stressors, allowing you to adapt your movements to best facilitate your body’s needs to heal. Samuel Reimann, my therapist, has a calming, upbeat persona. He easily imparts needed information from his extensive knowledge of body mechanics and draws on that knowledge to quickly and willingly adapt exercises to best fit the needs of his clients. The entire staff shows a patient, empathetic attitude that allows their clients to obtain the best results possible from each session.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Athletico for a few weeks now, and I've been very happy with my experience. My therapist Sam really listens to my symptoms and has adapted my exercises to address them. I would highly recommend Athletico!

Fantastic experience: The staff here is great! They make it a fun atmosphere. Sam has especially taken the time to explain my diagnosis, possible treatments, and reached out to my Orthopedic doctor on my behalf. They have really educated me more than anyone has on what's going on. I can't say enough about how great everyone there has been from the front desk, to the Physical Therapist, to the assistants, to the college interns. Shout out to Deja, Sam, Scott, Lialliana, and Preston for making my first physical therapy experience enjoyable (as much as you can for PT)

Negative experience: Stay Far far away. First , they are not educated in confirming insurance coverage. I was told that my therapy would be covered and would cost nothing.,,,,, NOT TRUE. Second , I went in for therapy for my shoulder and they caused irreparable damage, and have caused me months of doctors visits and possible permanent damage. STAY FAR AWAY THEIR CORPORATE customer service is atrocious! As a therapist myself, I am educated on all these matters. Not only were they completely unapologetic , and unsympathetic, I was spoken to like a child. I was basically told that she can't change what was "told to me" about billing because that person was just a therapy tech!! STAY FAR AWAY

Fantastic experience: I had some knee issues that were preventing me from moving around as much as I would like. After just a few visits here, I can already tell the difference! Physical therapy can be hard work, but the staff at this office made it great! They listened when I thought I could not do something, they cared about my progress, and they made the entire experience almost like fun. I especially cant say enough wonderful things about the care and attention I received from Rio! She challenged me to do a bit more than I though I could and has really helped move me toward a full recovery! If you are in need of physical therapy, I HIGHLY recommend Athletico's Dayton South office!!

Fantastic experience: The staff is fantastic. They know just the right amount of torture to get you where you need to go on your therapy journey. After 6 knee surgeries-hopefully my last one they have assisted me in my goals and rehab. I do call them physical terrorists-but they are really all angels. I gave them five stars because you become part of the family. Highly recommend.

They worked with me to keep my scheduled times routine and flexible with my life. They have a policy, where if you leave a review, you can assign someone "burpees". I assign them to myself because I'm able to do them again after my injury thanks to you guys!

Fantastic experience: Had an angry shoulder/neck issue. Therapists have been so nice to work with. Gently calmed the area and have given me guidance on how to strengthen the area to prevent future issues. Super easy to schedule, reach someone for questions, and never feel rushed. Great attention to cleanliness. Process in place to ensure shared spaces are regularly cleaned. Very pleased.

All of the therapists are awesome, the assistants are knowledgeable, the atmosphere is fun, and the care is first class! I feel enabled to do things with ease and the staff at athletico is of great help and support! Scott did a great job with my sessions as well when Ashley was unavailable! Always felt great at the end of each session and was encouraged to continue exercising at home with their home exercise program! The facility is clean and the equipments and beds are sanitized after each patient’s use! I would highly recommend this facility for the great work they do!
