My problem, although not completely resloved, is definitely 90% better than it was. I went in with extremely limited mobility in my right shoulder and after 6 weeks I am almost back to normal. Would recommend them to anyone. I'm honestly so appreciative of their help. 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: This is the place you want to go! There are a lot of really good and even great physical therapists in Des Moines - but those at Athletico Ingersoll are EXCEPTIONAL. I’ve seen quite a few PTs over the last 20 years bc of recurring leg-back-neck pain and I’ve never had a therapist like Colton. He is incredible! I am deeply thankful for him. He is definitely gifted in what he does. Don’t worry if he’s booked up when you call, Tyler and Caylee are fantastic to work with too!

Fantastic experience: I stumbled in a 75 year old non-athletic grandmother feeling trapped in my own home by fear of falling, unable to manage the stairs and anticipating a change of residence or assistive device. My cane now "lives" in the backseat of my car, and I come and go without fear, and no longer feel trapped. I enjoyed every minute of my time with Athletico and only regret it has to end. Everyone there was encouraging and interested in my progress, and I can't thank them, especially Brittany and Cailey, enough!

Tyler at Athletico was not only an amazing physical therapist who clearly understood overhand throwing injuries, but he is also a great human who clearly cares about the people he helps. Fantastic experience: My name is Jaden and I am a collegiate baseball player. When I tore my UCL in February and missed the whole season I thought everything I have ever worked for was gone just like that, this is the END of playing the game I love since I was 3 years old. Athletico brought me new hope, the whole staff is very talented in their field, but they are also very positive minded which helped my mind go from very negative to positive fast. I was very blessed and lucky to have a physical therapist named Tyler Spencer, who also played collegiate baseball and was a pitcher just like me. He is very educated in everything but when it comes to elbows, I feel like he is an absolute master. Tyler has made me feel very hopeful to come back even better than I was before with workouts that are specialized just for me. Tyler is very active in making sure I am feeling okay for every exercise and that I am also doing the exercise correctly, he also took time out of his day to get me a throwing program for when I return! It is easy to work hard at Athletico and get healthy again fast when you have experts that spread their very happy souls onto you every single day, and when you are surrounded by people that are constantly cheering you on, it makes you hungry to get healthy again and dominate life! Everyone goes through tough times in life but when you have a place you can go to that everyone forgets about what is going on outside of the walls and can focus, lock in, work hard, while also maintaining a very positive and motivating attitude, it truly is something special, at least that’s how I feel and I believe that Athletico fits the criteria of this. On days that I was not with Tyler I was lucky enough to work with Colton, Luke, Cailey, and Brittany. They all are also very educated and dedicated to helping others, they helped give my workouts some variety. If you are not concerned about your arm or elbow do not worry they all specialize in different areas of the body and you will be matched accordingly! I am so grateful that God blessed me and put these amazing people in my life and gave me what feels like a new BEGINNING to hopefully a long baseball career. Tyler kept my strength and conditioning goals in mind throughout the entire process of rehabilitation and I was able to give input into the training. I was only treated by a couple of the employees but the whole team was very nice. Tyler and Cailey are very relatable, easy to talk to, and have one sole purpose and that is to improve your health. So if you’re in need i highly recommend you let these guys help you.

Fantastic experience: Athletico Ingersoll has a great team of people. Whenever anyone I know complains that they've had a pain for more than a week, I refer them to these folks. The staff walk you through their diagnoses and explain why they are having you do certain exercises and what the goal of the exercise is. Honestly, I learned far more in the first five minutes of my first visit than the twenty or more minutes I spent with a sports medicine doctor.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Athletco for some medical issues. I was fairly skeptical about everything, but quickly changed my tune. I had never done PT before. The trainers were great! They made me feel comfortable and taught me some great ways to workout my body. They were flexible with my chaotic work schedule and made everything work! I highly recommend them and their wonderful training team!

Fantastic experience: I am so grateful for Colton and how he helped me with my issues. After one visit, and using the exercises he gave me, I felt great relief from my dizziness. It was determined that my ongoing neck issues had a lot to do with same. I feel confident that using these exercises will help control my dizziness. Fantastic experience: I went into this experience thinking I would dread physical therapy but, to my surprise, I quickly began looking forward to each visit. Colton was a joy to work with and his encouragement helped me rapidly improve post-surgery. He challenged me with each exercise and explained how they were strengthening different parts of my body. Fantastic experience: I know it sounds cliche but they “are like family”. They are knowledgeable , patient yet not afraid to push their clients to trying exercises to improve their strength and mobility. I went in for knee pain and learned that my knee pain was because of a weak core that needed strengthening. Over the course of months they worked with me and got my body to the point of being able to run again. During this time I got to know them on a personal level and they got to know me as well (which is pretty easy as I am an open book type of person). I also got to know some of the other patients so much that we were like friends. My only regret was that my time was shorter because they helped me fix my issue. I miss them already…. and that is the sign of a good group of physical therapists.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at this location. I went in about 2 months ago with a pinched nerve in my back with very little hope I'd never not be in pain again. After about a month and a half of PT with Colton, I am practically pain free most days. It should be noted, when I stopped in to make an appointment, I could barely walk a block to and from work, some days having to drive. I am forever grateful to Colton!

Fantastic experience: During the second trimester of my pregnancy, I began having terrible lower back pain and sciatica. I started seeing Brittany and Cailey at Athletico on Ingersoll and it has made a world of difference! Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Athletico in a couple different locations, and I have also visited physical therapists and chiropractors not affiliated with Athletico. I am an active cyclist and I tend to bang myself up once in a while and have needed help rehabbing. By far, I have found Athletico and their PT's to be of the highest quality and have experienced them going above and beyond to care for me as a patient. One PT researched my knee issue for hours to figure out how to get me ready for the next big ride. And another PT specifically, Colton, has helped me overcome numerous injuries over the years. This stuff actually works, and it isn't just a temporary fix like many Chiros or other providers.

They have helped me get a lot of my balance back and I am able to walk much further than I have been able to walk in a really long time. Fantastic experience: I found myself in the care of Athletico after suffering a very rare traumatic spinal cord injury called Cauda Equina Syndrome. The knowledge of my condition considering it's rarity was reassuring from my first encounter with Joelle and in the end I couldn't have wished for a better team to have supporting me through my recovery. I will always struggle to find the words to express the gratitude that I have for Joelle, Cailey, Tyler and the entire Athletico team. I honestly don't know where I would be today without them. All my successes in recovery are 100% a reflection of their hard work, their drive to push me to my limits and beyond, their constant encouragement through the minor set backs and all their praises through every little hurdle I crossed.

Negative experience: Im leaving a 1 star review because it was evident that I was merely a patient they wanted to get in and get out. I was not informed it was my last week or session, I wasnt given any options for if I wanted a few extra sessions, and I spent a bulk of my time just doing exercises in my own. When I spoke up about it, it was evident that this did not make the therapist happy. I was more than disappointed with my end result and level of care. I would not recommend anyone to come here for treatment if anyone asked for a recommendation.

Fantastic experience: I recently completed 7 weeks of therapy here and they have really helped me deal with the pain of a botched hip implant. Tyler and Cailey did wonders strengthening the muscles in my thigh and worked with me to improve my core. I thank them and recommend them to anyone needing physical therapy.

He was extremely knowledgeable in identifying my areas of need and working with me to begin to attack the issue. Not only did he give me the tools to strengthen my knee while I was in his care but he also gave me the tools to continue to grown and strengthen outside of the facility. Fantastic experience: Fantastic group of people! I worked with Tyler for majority of my time. I did however worked with Cailey too. The transition between each therapist was silky smooth. Both were very knowledgeable and understanding. The facility was great. Although I was there for improving my problem area with work outs and such, I was having conversations with all the staff members which made recovery that much easier. I felt welcomed every time I came in!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Athletico on Ingersoll for 6 weeks following a knee replacement/reconstruction. All of the trainers there are extremely professional, knowledgeable. Although the sessions are challenging, the trainers meet you where you are & are extremely patient & create a fun environment as they strive to push you towards a better post operative version of yourself. I highly recommend using Athletico PT for your rehabilitation.

Fantastic experience: I’m an active person that runs and plays recreational sports that started to experience terrible back and SI joint pain to the point I couldn’t walk for more than 15-20 minutes at a time. I am much improved and building up to running again thanks to Athletico Staff. The staff there are very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.
