“Following GCS my surgeon referred me to Kari Smith for pain that I was still experiencing six months after surgery. After the first couple sessions I realized that I wasn't going to have to live with the pain forever. From the very start she put me at ease and explained what was happening to my body, and gave me exercises that I could do at home. In less than two months I'm back to doing the activities, pain free, that I was doing before surgery. I cannot thank her enough!”

Fantastic experience: Kari Smith DPT and all the Staff I’ve met at DMU PT Clinic are so welcoming and show how much they care! I’ve been through a lot of pain, but Kari is so smart and such a true scientist/professional that I feel I’m getting the best of the best treatments.

Fantastic experience: I have seen numerous Physical Therapists in the 20+ years I've had my conditions. Kari Smith is head and shoulders better than any others. She's experienced, incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and really involves her student in the therapy process. I've made more progress in just a couple sessions than I had at all other therapy sessions with other practitioners combined! She treats the patient as well as the symptom, and does so with style and grace. You really feel at ease in her care. If I could give 100 stars I would! Brian

Fantastic experience: I have been so impressed with the DMU Physical Therapy Clinic. Dr. Brown is so knowledgeable and in tune with how I’m feeling and what I’m needing at each visit. Sharon is also very informative and pleasant to work with. The staff is always friendly and helpful as well. I’m so happy I listened to a coworker’s recommendation and booked an appointment.

Fantastic experience: I don’t write many on-line reviews but I have to recommend DMU Physical Therapy. Recently I had vertigo and after several days I could not figure out the root cause. Time was of the essence as I had to get on a flight and return to Europe for work. I was referred to DMU PT and in less than 24 hours I had a diagnosis and started recovery exercises. Jonie was super friendly and helpful to get me scheduled and prepared for my visit. Dr. Michelle Brown knows her stuff and was exactly who I needed to see to get to the bottom of the issue and put me on a path to recovery. I couldn’t recommend this DMU PT team more!

Fantastic experience: DMU’s PT clinic is top notch. From the friendly staff to the fresh and modern feel to the facility, it is a place where I felt comfortable and cared for throughout my time visiting. Another great aspect was getting to work with a current DMU student and being able to see the process they go through as they work towards becoming Doctors of Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: The team at DMU Clinic Physical Therapy is outstanding. I have been going to them for years for the various weekend warrior injuries/aging issues and could not ask for better care - I think I have seen nearly all of the physical therapists for one thing or another and the staff at the front desk are fantastic. The therapists take the time to teach me about my condition/dysfunction, what may be causing it and what exercises, stretches, etc. I can do to manage/correct it and what to avoid so I do not exacerbate it.

Fantastic experience: The staff is so compassionate, warm and accommodating. They're helping me understand my health conditions better, helping me strengthen my body in a way that works best for me, and my quality of life has improved. If you're hypermobile, this is the place!
