Fantastic experience: Paul is great! He listens well to each patient and provides an individualized treatment/ care plan for each patient. He teaches each person how to do continued care for themselves outside the clinic. The clinic is clean and the staff is all friendly and helpful. I will recommend to anyone needing physical therapy. Thank you to Paul and the staff at the East DSM Athletico!

Fantastic experience: Nicole is fantastic! I had a great experience. She helped me regain range of motion in my arm! The atmosphere is quite warm and welcoming. It helped me both physically and mentally. I will highly recommend rehabbing here.

Fantastic experience: I had a total knee replacement in May and have been doing my physical therapy with Paul Brummond. The staff at this location are welcoming and make patients feel like family. When I tell people the p.t is the best part of my day during my recovery I get a "look". But seriously, all the work I have been doing there to rehab my knee has inspired me at 66 y/o to get a gym membership and continue the progress on my own. I would definitely refer the team at this location to everyone! Thank you

Fantastic experience: I started doing PT here a few months ago after an injury which left it nearly impossible for me to touch my face, let alone carry any weight. As someone with an extremely active lifestyle (and profession), this was very difficult for me. I just finished my last session and am back to normal function! Couldn’t be happier with the results, and the therapists were all so nice, I looked forward to my sessions each week. Thanks again, Joe/Mandy/the whole team!

Fantastic experience: Emily and everyone at Athletico was absolutely amazing! Everyone was so friendly and professional. After having to have surgery on my wrist from a work injury i was very limited on my use and range of motion. There were many times I got frustrated and Emily knew exactly what to do to keep me positive and motivated. She designed exercises specifically for my work duties to make sure I was successful when I returned back to work full duty. Although I hope to never have to use them again IF I ever have to id definitely make sure to return to Athletico!!

Fantastic experience: Joe Beecha is the therapist I’ve been working with for two months. He has increased the therapy workouts gradually, and it has been going very well. All of the therapist at this location are very polite, and listen to their patients. I would highly recommend Athletico on E University to anyone. Plus they have an Awesome Receptionist, who is one of the nicest people.

Fantastic experience: I have been very pleased with my physical therapy after my left knee replacement! Maddie my therapist, was very compassionate and great during my 6-weeks of PT! I was getting bummed out during my 3rd week of therapy and she kept reassuring me that I was doing great and gave me great words of encouragement to keep pushing forward and would always answer my questions!

Fantastic experience: I have been receiving care from the East Athletico PT for quite some time now. My PT person is fantastic, listens to my concerns, provides stretches and exercise that I can do at home to improve myself. After receiving my treatment, I definitely leave feeling better. The staff is friendly, polite, respectful and know what they are doing. My entire family has received assistance for one thing or another and the results have been amazing. I appreciate the East Athletico Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Athletico East are amazing! My daughter worked with Joseph. Also Paul a few times. Both hands down are the absolute best! We walked in worried with so many questions. Today was the last appt and Joseph made sure all of our questions were answered and even gave us an at home routine! Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of both Emily and Nicole. They made coming to therapy something to look forward to. Their knowledge, encouragement, patience, and support for my particular situation helped me reach goals I didn’t even know were possible and much more quickly than I had expected. My husband has seen Nicole twice. The first time I saw not just the physical improvement but also a psychological improvement. He hates to exercise, basically never does. With Nicole and her way of encouraging, I have seen him exercise (with a smile) like never before. We have both made great progress with their outstanding help.

Fantastic experience: I started my Physical Therapy with Paul Brummond under Doctor's Orders with unmanageable lower back an massive whole body joint pain and inflammation. I was hospitalized with out of control blood component levels rendering me incapacitated and very weak and unable to return to work. Athletico therapy began evaluating and rebuilding my mid line core body weakness and after the first two weeks tremendous core structure improvements were made and I was able to function without heavy pain medication and was able to return to work. After completing my scheduled therapy visits and using my Athletico Application on line as scheduled and well instructed by my Physical therapist, my visits are completed and I am pain free and working under full duty as I continue my weekly home therapy activities keeping myself well tuned and healing and strengthening. Great results and continued success is my experience! Not bad at all for a 68 year old man now enjoying daily life heading to retirement in a few years and celebrating 50 years of marriage with my loving and caring wife and life partner!

We’ve always been treated with such kindness and care. And they’re just a fun group to be around. Paul is who my special needs client has worked with the last two times he’s needed therapy and he has been fantastic with him, treating him with such respect. Fantastic experience: I believe that the East Des Moines branch is the very best Physical Therapy place in the whole city. They have a great group of therapist who really care about the people they work with. I always ask any doctor that wants me to take therapy that I want to go to the east des moines location and I want to see Paul mainly because I have been there a number of times and he always helps me to achieve the ultimate results. I don't care what bone you have broken or what muscles you have torn or even if it is age related problems that you have, they can help fix it for you.
