Nicole McDevitt was able to return to playing basketball in high school thanks to physical therapy, and now at DMOS she is committed to helping others return to their work, recreational activities, and overall ability to function.

If you are experiencing discomfort, lack of flexibility, or decreased strength which is making it difficult for you to move around, you may benefit from consulting a physical therapist.
A doctor's recommendation for physical therapy typically involves attending sessions 2 to 3 times a week. Depending on the diagnosis and severity of the injury or disorder, the frequency may be different for each person. However, generally speaking, you can expect to attend therapy at this rate.
Generally, you should continue with physical therapy until you have achieved your goals or until your therapist and you decide that your condition is too severe to reassess your objectives. It typically takes 6 to 8 weeks for soft tissue to heal, so your physical therapy program may last for that duration.
If you have an injury to your lower body or back, wear clothing that is not too tight, such as shorts and short sleeves for an injury to your upper body. Make sure to bring or wear appropriate shoes, like sneakers.

DMOS Physical Therapy & Hand Therapy: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Found DMOS on Penn and have been extremely happy. Didn't know we had something this close.
We're so happy to receive your positive feedback! It's our pleasure to provide you with the best possible care here at DMOS. Best, DMOS Orthopaedic Centers
Negative experience: Becky is unprofessional, said she called me multiple times & I apologized for not answering as I was busy, but she only gave me one missed call. Her tone was rude when I entered the room & told u on phone or in person. My bad if I come off as blatantly offensive, but I feel like she doesn't like me even going there idk for sure...I wonder if she does this to other patients?
Fantastic experience: Scott was my physical therapist and he was great to work with. I would work with them again in a heartbeat
Fantastic experience: Dr. Fox was very helpful and attentive. He is very polite and. Dr. Dox is very patient and takes his time to explain details.
Fantastic experience: The entire staff at all the DMOS locations are always friendly and fun, while remaining professional. My experience with the physical therapy was a very positive and productive one. I would definitely recommend DMOS to my friends and family.
Fantastic experience: Top notch care! Individualized therapy and modalities to fit your comfort needs. Ease and flexibility in scheduling.
Fantastic experience: Scott was my physical therapist and he was great to work with. I would work with them again in a heartbeat
Fantastic experience: Dani is excellent! She has worked hard to help me strengthen my body due to my knee pain. She is a great therapist and fun. I look forward to every visit!
Fantastic experience: Scott and the crew do a great job. Fun to work with, and the humor is always clean and funny. Started prior to TKR and I could not imagine not having worked with these folks prior. 1st PT after surgery went better than I could have expected. Do not think this is painless. Far from that, but having the strength in my other leg has really been a plus. TYVM Scott and crew!
Fantastic experience: These people are awesome. Keep up the good work.
