Fantastic experience: The therapist there are good

Fantastic experience: Ashley was an amazing occupational therapist. She clearly explained what is trigger finger and the strategy for our sessions. She took the time to understand my concerns and answered all of my questions clearly and with compassion. She gave me clear direction both in sessions and for “homework.” She helped set proper expectations so I would ‘t end up frustrated or discouraged. The recovery is a journey and Ashley has set me up for life-long success The front desk team was awesome. I received a warm welcome every time and they always had my receipt ready at the end of my appointment. I hope I can avoid injuries in the future and not have to return but if I do, I will gladly return for the excellent care of Ashley and the Cal Rehab Lakewood team.

Fantastic experience: Don’t hesitate to use California Rehab and sports. After my knee replacement I received the highest quality of care from the front desk to the physical Therapist and all the aids. They made huge strides in my improvement and treated me like family. Remembered my name, never made me wait and they were always on time. The office was inside of a gym and I was able to use the equipment which helped immensely in my recovery. A special thank you to Silverton and CJ for their words of encouragement and support during my recovery. Thanks to all the aids for the extra advice and instructions.

The people here are very nice and friendly very organized, clean, respectful and cater to your needs on recovering for the best results and provide you with the tools and exercises to do at home as well.I just wanted to say thank you and appreciation to Silverton and his team for helping me heal with comfort and with the exercises and tools they have provided me with, and helped me recover from the pain I had on my upper body from a car accident. Silverton, my therapist is a great man that really know what he's talking about when it comes to therapy with my experience with him as well as his team, Now I have completed my therapy with comfort and graduated from here, now I can take care of my self with the exercises and tools that they have provided with me to do at home when I need it. I strongly and highly recommend this therapy place to anyone and everyone and be on your way to recovery and enjoy your life that you had before, I call this my one stop therapy spot. I was a little nervous when I first walked in, but I was always treated with respect and kindness. I definitely benefited from the great care that they provided me. Fantastic experience: Silverton and the team at this location are fantastic! They are there to get you better and challenge you at a pace that's just right for you. They listen and engage with you like old friends. I came in for an old persistent injury and they were encouraging and hopeful in mending it. I had previously done PT somewhere else, but it was mostly rest and repeat. The team here had a completely different and functional approach that allowed me to still do the things I love while incorporating new ways to heal. This is a great place and I highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: California Rehabilitation is the kind of Physical Therapy office you would design for yourself. Many said, ‘just go, it’ll be over with soon, and won’t hurt after a while.’ Calif. Rehab is completely different. Through a broken arm in 2020, and 3 fractured small toes this year, I can say I never once experienced pain during physical therapy. Starting with Silverton Nguyen and continuing through all the therapists I’ve worked with there, each has a calm, highly professional approach that puts you at ease and makes recovery an assured goal. When you’re given an exercise to do, they explain why and what to expect. You are given written instructions with pictures, so there’s no doubt what you need to do, and why. Questions? They answer them. Discussion? They provide the explanations and LISTEN to you. I’d recommend them to anyone needing help, and already have given their name and phone number out - they’re that good!

Fantastic experience: Top-notch physical therapy practice with amazing staff. I received treatment here for an ankle sprain, on and off for over a year. Every person I worked with was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. They gave me their full attention, were familiar with my treatment plan, and actually cared about my recovery. At one point, I stopped physical therapy for several months, and when I came back, my main therapist not only remembered me but asked specific questions for updates on my life. Even the people I didn't directly work with were supportive and friendly (shout out to the hand therapists!). Physically, the therapists consistently challenged me while also slowing down and adjusting when we needed to. They helped me get better at listening to my body. All in all, Cal Rehab genuinely became a place where I felt super comfortable and at home. Most importantly, my ankle has made a lot of progress and I'm excited to get back to playing soccer soon! Don't be confused by the address: The practice is located inside a larger gym, off to one side. This was great because we had a small, focused space to work in as well as access to a wider variety of machines and equipment when needed.

Fantastic experience: Silverton and his staff are all extremely professional and attentive in their approach. I am a trained dancer and teacher and was not able to teach or dance comfortably for several months before being treated at California Rehabilitation & Sports Therapy. Within the first week of physical therapy I was able to return to dancing and teaching. I received training on how to better approach movement and prevent injury. Would give 6 stars if that were an option.

Fantastic experience: I have been blessed I have found the best rehabilitation center California Rehabilitationand Sport Therapy center. Silverton and his staff have helped me recuperate from my after surgery care, and other physical problems. I have gone to other rehabilitation centers in LA and Orange counties and none compare to Silverton's physical therapy. Giving me the understanding of what's going on with each treatment. I can't thanked them enough.

Fantastic experience: California Rehabilitation and Sports therapy - Lakewood helped me get back moving again after having a lower back operation. They provided me with a lot of information to stay in shape and take care of my back. The staff was amazing and hands on training.

Fantastic experience: When I began therapy I had severe mobility issues and found walking a distance of 100 feet difficult. I had constant back and leg pain and slept little. Today I can walk up and down two flights of stairs and work out at a gym four to five hours per week. I have minimal pain and sleep well. Silverton, Daniel, and others worked patiently and encouraged me every step of the way. I will forever be grateful to them. I highly recommend CA Sports Therapy in Lakewood.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been in pain for over 3 years and been to countless doctors and physical therapy places but nobody has showed me the stretching and exercise like California Rehab in Lakewood. Feeling stronger every week. I feel like I actually have hope now.

They taught me the skills I need to manage my lower back pain and debilitating plantar fasciitis. They are absolutely now my go to PTs and I highly recommend them to everyone!!! Fantastic experience: Silverton is amazing. I swear he can see my muscles, nerves and bones in full 3D in real-time in his mind's eye. Silverton is easily on par in this visualization skill with the best of the 14 Orthopedic and Neuro surgeons who are putting this Humpty Dumpty back together again. I was initially sort of alarmed that the clinic was inside a big health club, but it's a LARGE separate room with storage and PT tables, devices and a hand washing sink. A nice touch is that all the treadmills and stairclimbers anywhere near the clinic's shared big glass wall are facing away, so people working out aren't staring at your PT. But the tall glass wall makes the clinic nice and bright and it feels very open. Apparently PT patients can use the health club machines etc. if actively supervised by PT staff so it's an overall benefit to have the clinic in the health club. This statement assumes that you are fully vaccinated of course. Brittany has been very effective in my two visits so far for my Carpal Tunnel. She is clearly knowledgeable and also "looks inside " my hand and wrist to visualize as she moves my wrist or has me move my hand. It certainly seems so far that Brittany is also more skilled than others I've been to over many years. I'm not shy about praise when things are great, because I'm not shy about complaining if things are not good! Things are very good at the Lakewood and Long Beach offices of California Rehabilitation and Sports Therapy !

Fantastic experience: I've had a few physical therapists. These guys are the best! Rather than just giving you stretches or exercises and leaving you on your own, they monitor to make even slight adjustments to your form and make sure you're getting the most benefit. Super convenient that it's in a gym so all their equipment is available. I've seen great progress working with them.

Very careful to push my knee to edge and not over the edge. He explained every exercise, why to do it and the muscles it affects. AND what to do if I felt pain. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this place for rehabilitation. The staff is great and everyone is very knowledgeable. My back injury was significantly improved to the point I was able to get back to my normal life activities. They also were able to improve my chronic neck pain that I had considered doing surgery on cause no other treatments had helped. I now am no longer considering surgery and hope to get approval for more PT to focus on my neck only.
