Negative experience: The nurses here are extremely rude and worthless. They do not have any sense of remorse for the patients here. There jobs are to care and protect and instead they choose to abuse their patients. They are extremely catty and unprofessional. If you care for your family do not send them to this place.

Negative experience: My mother in law got woken up by a young nurse digging threw her personal items. When confronted he stated that he had come to brush her teeth. A real lame excuse for digging threw his person items.He had to work his way past many different furniture pieces to get though. I would make sure to secure loved ones personal items. Ok Now my Mother-in-law has her pizza stolen by another patient. Is this facility not watching our loved ones. They tried to retrieve the pizza from the theif and the lady shoved the pizza in her mouth. My mother in law buys her pizza to eat multiple times.

Fantastic experience: Mi esposo Juan Carlos Preciado, siempre recibió una excelente atención de parte de todo el personal de este lugar, gracias a todos por sus finas atenciones y por amar su trabajo, ya que este trabajo requiere de mucho amor por los ancianos y enfermos, además de mucha paciencia , tolerancia y respeto. Doy las gracias especialmente a Rosa que siempre estuvo al pendiente de que todo estuviera bien y de que mi esposo recibiera los cuidados necesarios en su estancia en este lugar hasta el día de su fallecimiento. Fantastic experience: Mi padrastro estuvo en este lugar, el personal siempre muy atento, las enfermeras muy amables. Agradecimiento especial a Rosa que siempre estuvo al pendiente.

Fantastic experience: I was doubtful because of the stigma nursing homes have, but the staff here is wonderful! Very caring, and attentive. They go out of their way to make my grandpas stay be as comfortable as possible. The rooms are odor free and clean. They clean the rooms and hallways daily. We are in touch with social services whenever there are any updates with him, as well as the nursing staff. And we love that you can visit whenever you want, of course you have to set up an appointment, but still. Thats what made us decide to come here. Other places put visitation rules or no visitations in the nursing home at all. Overall, a very good experience for my grandpa and our family. Thank you Ramona staff for your hard work.

Negative experience: if i could do negative i would, they left my mother dehydrated, telling her not to drink water, then telling her to drink water, they also didn’t care that she wasn’t eating well, brushing it off after my mom expressed her concerns. my mother had back surgery due to cancer and every time they moved her it would hurt and the nurses had the audacity to ask why she was complaining so much. she was there for 2 days and we had to bring her to the ER because she had an infection. not to mention all the illegal street racing and crime that happens near by, not letting her sleep. this is a death place. please reconsider ever putting your loved one in this place.

Positive experience: I was here for 2 months due to some issues with my legs (cellulitis). The physical therapists here are excellent. I worked mostly with Joe, Ciara and Linda. Many others are excellent also. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. Most of the nurses are also helpful and some are excellent (Caesar, Evelyn, Lorayna etc.) Overall the facility is crowded and often noisy. The food ranges from pretty good to somewhat tasteless (no salt etc.).

Fantastic experience: Wasn’t sure if my family and I wanted to send our family member here because of the reviews, but we decided to give it chance since we were informed there has been a change of management and ownership. It turns out it was good decision. The staff at Ramona are very kind and the therapy team has been doing great a job in helping my family member walk again.

Negative experience: This place is horrible. They had 5 different administrators while i was there. Each one of them just as corrupt as the one before. They kicked me out with no where to go, which is against Medicare guidelnes. They try to get people to pay the 20% the medi-cal is supposed to pay. Which is also against the law and Medicare guidelines. They need their funding to be taken away. It's a shame because anyone who is good that works there ultimately quits or is fired. I couldn't believe the abuse that I saw going on there. Please anyone with family at this faciltiy, move them out. If you love your family member get them out of this place as soon as possible! May God watch over all the residents at this faciltiy! In Jesus name I live, breathe and pray! Amen!

Negative experience: Sendi LVN needs to be fired my father in law was here and was treated very poorly and neglected when called nurse. He was very depressed during his time there. Very unprofessional I can't believe it. Employers need to watch out who they're hiring.

Negative experience: Warning!!! If you want your elders to pass away quick and tortured without being well taken care of……well this is the perfect place. This is one of the worst places to leave any senior. My grandmother was fine when I brought her in and then they said I could not go in to see her because of COVID restrictions. Finally, after weeks of arguing that I needed to see her…….my mother was practically just bones. She was not able to see anymore and she was so skinny that I could not believe my eyes. I requested for her to be immediately taken out of this place. The only reason they let me take her home is because they said that she was not going to make it and that she only had a couple weeks to live. Now after two weeks of being home with me she has gained weight, she can talk again and is able to eat all on her own. They didn’t even give me her clothes back. They said they couldn’t find it and they will have to search for it. Looks like these people get paid to do nothing and easily get rid of our loved ones. Here are also some names of nurses that will assist in giving a senior less time to live MARIA, ANGELICA & WILSON. Do not recommend this horrible place to anybody you love!!

Negative experience: Horrible place! Our elders do not deserve to be in such a tragic yet horrid place like this. This review is mainly because the care that was provided to my mother was cruel and tasteless. There is no compassion for the elderly here. They wouldn't feed my mother. Worst nurses that I have ever met. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Negative experience: DO NOT ALLOW YOUR LOVED ONES TO STAY HERE! ☠️ Most of the staff is rude, uncaring, and extremely disrespectful. Totally disgusted with this place.They make up, and/or change rules to accommodate themselves. No regard for patients and their visitors. This is far from over. Legal action will be taken. Patient rights are being violated on an ongoing basis. I'll be naming names in the next review. DISGUSTING FACILITY ☠️

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff

Positive experience: A very well known area. Stopped by to see my uncle and saw he was in great condition. I asked him if they treat him right and he said yes. However he mentions how his clothes are just a lil dirty but that is ok by me.

Fantastic experience: This nursing and rehabilitation facility is great! We have my grandmother here and staff are always helpful. Admissions coordinators made onboarding process simple and easy for our family. They made sure to make us feel welcomed and we'll informed. Nurses are always very pleasant to speak to and very attentive. I would 100% recommend Ramona Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Negative experience: The administration at this facility needs to make sure that all of their staff follow the same guidelines and provide accurate and current information to the family members.

Fantastic experience: They continue to deal with my father's Dementia, n Parkinson's, n look to better his means. Always listens to my needs n concerns. Keeps my father close to me here in El Monte.

Fantastic experience: If you care about your loved one, you will try to get them in here. An old facility in an old neighborhood. But extremely well run, clean, well organized with a well trained and friendly staff.

Negative experience: Staff and management does a horrible job communicating with each other regarding the patient's needs. They would constantly leave my family member soiled without any change and would always give him the wrong food items disregarding the fact he was diabetic. After speaking with the staff trying to understand the pandemonium it was apparent there was drama going on between the staff trying to hold each other responsible for job duties and no management to manage. A lot of the staff members are very unproactive when asking them questions they don't care to give you any answer, their common response was: "I don't know" . I would not recommend this facility to anyone and if you have any friends are family members there I suggest you move them somewhere else as soon as possible.

Positive experience: Great place if your there to die.

Fantastic experience: Facility is clean. Staffs are caring and attentive. There are activities happening daily. Administrator Travor is a personable person. He is involved with patients, patient's family and staff. Travor is always visible and reachable. He is also very resourceful. Location of facility might not be the best. One can't judge a book by it's cover.
