Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience. My physical therapist, Jocelyne was phenomenal! She listened intently to my issues and helped me build up my strength. The environment was alway positive and everyone that worked there was very kind. At the end of my therapy I truly came out feeling a lot better and stronger.

Fantastic experience: After many options and suggestions to relieve my pain, I picked this Athletico based on reviews. Others suggested a chiropractor but based on times they go back, I again picked this one. I came twisted and they offered immediate relief that wasn't a pill. I needed strategies but they have given so much more. After only 6 times and carryover exercises to do as routine, I know I'm in the right space and will tell all those who will listen. Fantastic experience: Anytime I've had a dance related injury, I come straight here for an evaluation. I appreciate how up front they are with me - some injuries they've assessed and indicated that I could likely treat it at home, and others they've advised actual therapy. Currently seeing Mitch for an injury and I was pleasantly surprised to find that he actually has some experience treating dancers - I feel very confident in my treatment outcome as a result!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Athletico in Elgin on Summit! Eric and Mitch are the best! I came in with a frozen shoulder in Jan of 24! I was in the freezing stag I only had -5 degrees of motion in my left shoulder extreme pain. 3 months later I am in my last week. My right shoulder is back to 100% my left is 95%. Everyone is super nice and knowledgeable!

Fantastic experience: The staff here are great. You are greeted with a smile from Andrea upon entering. Prior to my arrival she answered my questions regarding setting a schedule, my anticipated start date and insurance coverage. She is very accommodating in setting up your appointments as needed. Mitch is the therapist that really has worked my knee the most. He has gotten me to the point that I am able to walk very well in the time I have been going to therapy. Tanya has helped tremendously in conjunction with Mitch to make sure the tasks they have me doing are done correctly. Lastly but not least, there is Erick. He makes sure the healing process is going according to plan and if other aspects are needed he steps up to ensure the progress is happening as scheduled. My surgeon was pleasantly surprised at the progress they have helped me achieve. All the staff are pleasant and make the therapy easier to get through especially when you are in pain. I highly recommend Athletico for therapy.

They are an amazing team in everyway possible. Huge shout out to Deanna from the S Elgin Athletico for letting me know Mitch would be the right fit for helping me with my back issues .He went above and beyond my expectations for what i was needing to get my life back as far as pain and knots thru my back. I was in horrible pain for a year and half until I decided to give physical therapy another go at helping me gain my life back to have less pain . They are all very kind caring knowledgeable hard working individuals that seem to be a family within this facility. From day 1 I felt wecomed and right at home . Its been a long 4 months of goin but Id do it all again with this group. I would give 100 stars if possible!!! Ty again to each and everyone of you !! Fantastic experience: If you are considering a location for PT, look no further! The staff is all around awesome and the work out areas are clean and well kept! I have been working with Mitch and Danny and they have been beyond awesome to work with. Mitch is not just checking boxes he actually cares and it shows through his interactions with each patient. Mitch is going to make you work (at your own pace) but you better beleive you will see results if you follow his instructions! Fantastic experience: Nothing but the best quality of service from everybody in the building. Every time I’m at therapy everybody is always in a outgoing mood, never negative and always positive with recovery vibes. Days where you don’t even want to go therapy end up turning into looking forward too going to therapy. Had the pleasure to work with Mitch and I could tell he strives to be better at what he does every time I’m in the building he always gives encouragement to keep improving and of course he knows what to do with recovery and what not to do. You could see the experience he has when working with him. I’ve also been seen by Erik, jameel & Jocelyn they as well bring the right energy to recovery and the right ways to heal properly, they all share the same mentality as to making sure patients are leaving a better person. The building is always clean and even the helpers who help set up exercises or get the ice packs are always thoughtful and outgoing with us as patients! Even the receptionists are very reasonable for rescheduling and scheduling. If you have any doubts about this location, take my word for it from someone who’s never been hurt and always so paranoid to trusting someone with my health/recovery I think I’ve made the right decision by coming here, I’m only 6 weeks in but I have another 6-10 weeks left and I wouldn’t want to change anything about it!!!

Fantastic experience: Great experience here. Went from very little mobility in my arm after a bicep tendon surgery, to pain-free, functional movement. Scheduling was easy and flexible and the front desk staff were always super friendly and helpful. Jocelyn and Mitch both provided top-notch expertise. Both were kind, patient, and supportive, always with a warm smile. Great listeners too. Based on my experience with these two, I would highly recommend this Athletico location to anybody needing these types of services.

Fantastic experience: This facility is well operated. The therapists and staff are well trained and take their roles seriously. The facility is always well maintained and clean. The equipment is sanitized after each use. Erick is the manager and runs a tight business. Most of my rehab was with Mitch who has a great knowledge of the treatment for my reverse shoulder replacement. He helped me through a difficult time. Fantastic experience: Very professional and handled everything for both physical therapy and occupational therapy in a great fashion. Outstanding staff, Mitch handled most of my physical therapy and did a great job. Others filled in as needed to fit my schedule. Diane handled my occupational therapy and was great as well. Fantastic experience: I work most often with Eric and Kylee for pt, and DIAAAANE for ot. They're spectacular! I noticeably improve in hand and leg mobility with each visit. The whole team works together really well. The facility is well maintained and clean.

Fantastic experience: Wanting to avoid spinal surgery for severe spinal stinosis in the lower lumbar region, I decided to go to Athletico in Elgin due to convenience of the location. I was paired with Jameel Joco and couldn't be more happy. Jameel took the time to understand my situation and came up with a routine to loosen the muscles and nerves in my back. I can honestly say that after the very 1st visit I noticed an immediate improvement the next morning. I could actually walk from the bed without severe pain. I've now had 3 sessions and feel like a new person. The folks here are absolutely amazing and truly do care about you as a person. They are all extremely personable and knowledgeable in what they can do for you. I promise you, you will never be sorry to have your physical therapy done at this location. Thank you Jameel for all you've done! I sincerely enjoyed every minute.

For therapy recovery for my second knee replacement I couldn’t have picked a better place. They treat everyone with dignity even when they are working you hard. They truly want to see you get better. Fantastic experience: I have been going to this Athletico for 15 weeks, I had surgery back in March and started the first week of April. One of my best friends Alondra works there, she is a great person very friendly, and was always great with getting me going on my physical therapy for the day. The first therapist I worked with was Sharon THE shoulder expert I was told. She lived up to it she was great! I remember the first day I was there I was in tears because they had to move my shoulder and to see the transformation from that first day to 3 weeks down the road was crazy. She was a great therapist. I worked with Mitch for the majority of the strengthening portion of my recovery and he has got to be one of the coolest guys I've met. He is a really good physical therapist the strength that I gained back so quickly was awesome! The routine he had me one made work get much easier quickly. He also listened to my goals and helped get me there, my goal was to be back on the ice for a charity tournament for hockey and it was at the end of June I not only think we met that goal, but I think that we surpassed that goal! Kind of how I was with Alondra a lot in the beginning I then had Daniel. He would get me set up on the different exercises. Daniel is also a super cool guy, I enjoyed hanging with him while I was doing the exercises. You can talk to him about anything, he helps the time go by fast and he is an all-around great guy. I also worked with Lauren, and she is super cool. The fun fact her and I went to high school together. So, it was a lot of fun catching up while I was doing my workouts. Sadly, she leaves soon for school again. So, some of you will miss out because she is a great person! :( But maybe she will be back next summer. Never tell Jameel that something is too easy he will ramp it up so quickly.... lol but it was okay cause I liked the challenge. I did not get to work with Jameel as much but when I did, he was a super great guy. Lastly, we have Erick I only worked with Erick I think one day but he was also an excellent therapist. He put together a great plan for the day that I had him. If I am being honest to anyone who has read for this long you cannot go wrong with working with any of the therapists, there. They are all extremely knowledgeable and all the assistants are awesome! I am very glad that I got to do my physical therapy at this Athletico because they were amazing! I would go back if I ever had another injury. As the picture sums up at the bottom with Alondra this place gets 2 thumbs up and 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: Love this Athletico! Mitch is my main PT, but have also had Sharon, Erik and Jameel. I get full attention and excellent guidance on correct form, and gentle care when sore. All the techs are very helpful and kind as well! I would highly recommend this location, it is awesome! I am blessed and thankful for their care! I feel constantly challenged to go to the next level of therapy (which I love!) but not pushed to do something I am not ready to do. I love all the tips on how to continue working at home, and the fact that they make doing repetitive workouts almost enjoyable with their pleasant personalities and lively discussions. You can see that they enjoy what they do, and try to help their patients actually enjoy their appointments by interacting on a more personal level and chatting about our common interests. The location is great, and seems to have all the necessary equipment for any type of P.T. Their cleaning/sanitizing routines make it feel like a safe environment. I never realized how much P.T. would help me, and wish I would have started sooner.

Fantastic experience: Sharon is a miracle worker. I couldn't even stand up straight when I came in and within 3 weeks I was walking on the treadmill, pain free! The staff is very attentive and pleasant. Have felt very comfortable since my very first visit.

Fantastic experience: I started going to Athletico a few months after a knee surgery and my experience has blown my expectations away. Since the beginning, the therapists at Athletico have been so intentional to getting my strength back in my leg and knee. I would recommend this facility to anyone and especially athletes who are recovering from an injury. The therapists here are able to create new and inventive exercises to help them get back into their specific sport. The staff here are always so fun and friendly which makes the experience much more enjoyable. I have made some pretty cool friends from the time I have spent at Athletico. :)

Fantastic experience: Everyone I have interacted with at Athletic Physical Therapy on Summit St; has been wonderful to deal with. From the front desk and office staff, to the therapist. I have seen both Erick and Mitch during my treatment after my left shoulder dislocation/sprain and after the shoulder surgery. Both have listened to me and provided and explained things in a manner that’s easy to understand. Mitch was my main guy to work with. He was compassionate and empathetic towards my condition. I can tell he only wants the best for me and his experience shows. He made my time there feel valued. Erik is professional and knowledgeable about how to address my individual improvement plans. He always would attend to my physical state and is careful not to over challenge my ability while taking me to the next higher level when I was ready. The staff at APT have always been great. They’re very professional and always made me feel welcome. I also had the pleasure to work with Sharon, she made sure I was making progress and offered great care and offered great at home exercises. As well with the lovely Jameel, he was very supporting and encouraging during my physical therapy at APT. Everyone you meet here is very professional and polite. Jovanni could answer all of my numerous questions and concerns throughly and patiently. Alondra, Bryan, Danny, Jaime and Jade worked tirelessly in keeping the facility clean and safe during the madness of Covid19 and kept it very professional. Every visit got me closer to my goals. I strongly advise people to utilize their services.

After 10 appointments I feel like a new person. I am confident that the work that I have done here and the exercises I will continue to do at home will keep me feeling my best.
