Fantastic experience: I’ve been to different therapy agencies in the past. I have to say I LOVE ATHLETICO IN SOUTH ELGIN. Lots of activity. Rutvas therapy was only once and GREAT!! After Rutva, Blakley stepped in to work on me with all types of functions and machinery. I feel fortunate to have Blakley!! She is amazing and professional and funny. Fantastic experience: I had a hip surgery in 2019. I started therapy with someone else and wasn’t seeing any results so my doctor referred me to Sarah Von Dran at Athletico. Sarah has helped me tremendously, not only with my hip problems, but also for pelvic floor treatment and also a recent knee surgery. At some point after my hip surgery I was having so much pain and I felt like my doctors were giving up on me, but Sarah stood by my side and I felt like she truly was the only one that was helping me and guiding me through my recovery. It is so nice to walk into the south Elgin clinic and everyone makes you feel so welcomed. I love how everyone gets along and seem to work So well together.

Fantastic experience: I was referred by my Obgyn. Everyone is very nice and helped me accommodate with appointments in my busy schedule. I did pelvic floor pt for both of my pregnancies with Sarah, this was a great experience as she is knowledgeable, patient and very professional. She also helped me with sciatic pain, and other issues during pregnancy that helped me to prepare my body for childbirth. I will always come back to her. The place is always clean and staff disinfect surfaces before and after every patient which I really appreciate.

Fantastic experience: I have had a great experience with Rutva at So Elgin Athletico as my PT after my hip replacement surgery. She is very patient and knowledgeable. Also very good at motivating me to accomplish my goals she has set for me. I would not hesitate to recommend South Elgin Athletico and Rutva. Also I must say the rest of the staff has been very helpful from the very first time I called.

Fantastic experience: Athletico has been a life saver for me!!! Sarah V did my initial assessment and worked her magic on my back and hip. She was able to provide instant relief with a low back/hip issue that I have had for over a decade. She can pinpoint muscle pain and tension like no one I have ever seen before and will make it her mission to help you feel better. She truly cares for her clients!!. Rutva D is a physical therapist there that took over after my first couple visits. She introduced me to dry needling and I had it done to my low back, hip and legs. I would recommend her and her needle skills to ANYONE and EVERYONE that has tight muscles or muscle pain. She has been able to release muscle tension on areas of my body that have been hurting since 2006. Rutva has changed my life over the last 4-5weeks and I’m extremely thankful for her and her attention to detail. I have been working with them 2 days a week for a little over a month now and made SIGNIFICANT gains in strength, mobility and muscle endurance. They treat you right at Athletico in South Elgin. The environment is super inviting, the people are as nice as they come and the care they provide is top notch!!!! Nobody does it like they do!!

Fantastic experience: Athletico is my go to for PT. This is the first time I needed it following a surgery and therapy for that is different than a muscular ache, which I hadn’t realized. Blakely and Patrick are great at their jobs. Blakely really listened to me and modified the exercises based on my feedback. The home program app is easy to follow and between my therapy at the site and the work I do at home my results exceed where I thought I’d be at 9 weeks post surgery. I’ve recommended Athletico to both family and friends and they have had similar results.

Fantastic experience: All of the staff at 722 McLean are extremely professional, courteous and friendly. I worked predominantly with Jenny and Kaitlyn and although tough, the therapy I received was second to none. And being orthopedically challenged I have been to some therapy!!!

Fantastic experience: Rutva helped me fix my neck and shoulder problems. She listened to all of my concerns and didn’t mind explaining how the exercises worked. Colin is also very helpful and personable.

Fantastic experience: I have been a client at Athetico in So. Elgin on several occasions over the last few years. Their attention to my issues, suggestions to achieve success, and continued encouragement were the reasons I returned for treatment when needed. The therapist I was most impressed with was Sarah and I happily returned to her for treatment. I must also point out Patrick, an aide who quietly but efficiently completes his responsibilities, and therapist Jenny who filled in for Sarah on occasion. I have, and certainly will continue to recommend Athletico in So. Elgin.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Athletico on and off since I was a 16 year old athlete. Everyone there is exceptional in the care they provide. I have worked with Sarah on and off since 2019 for not one but 2 different surgeries. She was so helpful and amazing in the care she gives! I would 100% go back! And not to mention Monalee at the front desk who is super nice and friendly. I feel so welcomed there every time I walked in.

Fantastic experience: I've been receiving PT for 3 months and thanks to the massage and manipulation treatments, along with the progressive strength and balance exercises that Jenny has recommended, I've been able to regain the strength and motion to do the things I once enjoyed. Angelo works well under Jenny's direction to keep me going.

Fantastic experience: My Therapist is Sarah Vandron. She is simple the best, she has taken care of me for at least years now with multiple issues. She listens to your needs, and helps with your recovery. I would recommend her for all your recovery needs. She has a great team that she is surrounded with. Great job to them all.

Fantastic experience: Staff is wonderful and very personable. Sarah is a fantastic PT, she treats me for my Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Sarah is very caring, cautious, and knowledgeable. I’ve always had a hard time finding treatment for my medical condition, so it has been a wonderful experience getting back to a functional life again.

Negative experience: I've used before and thought they were very good, however, this past visit I was very disappointed in the level of skill and the overall negative change in the environment. Moreover, when comparing the cost that I was billed verse my new PT, its crazy how much more they are charging... I would not recommend them anymore.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Sarah VonDran at Athletico enough! After a difficult delivery, postpartum complications, two reconstructive surgeries, and debilitating pubic symphysis pain, I felt like I had zero strength left. I truly believed I would never feel like myself again. But then I found Sarah. She addressed every issue I was facing, starting slow and building me back up. Her approach was thoughtful and personalized, and she has the best personality, making every session comfortable and productive. The treatment room is private, which really allowed me to focus on my recovery. Thanks to Sarah and the Athletico team, I’ve been able to make progress I never thought possible. My recovery has been long, but their support has made all the difference. I now believe every woman can benefit from physical therapy after birth, and I will definitely be seeing Sarah pre- and post-delivery for my next baby. Thank you, Sarah, for helping me feel strong again!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been treated at Athletico now for several weeks as I am recovering from a tibia plateau fracture. My therapist Jennifer has been hands on and detailed working towards my healing. She listens to my concerns and always seems to have a game plan for my progression. Very grateful for her help and flexibility. Will continue striving towards normalcy.

Fantastic experience: Deanna is awesome! She knew exactly how to treat and correct my vertigo. I had 2 severe instances with several smaller dizzy spells. After a few weeks in her care I haven't experienced any further dizzy spells. I know it can reoccur but I also know, with the correctly trained and caring PT it can be treated. I can't say enough about how caring and knowledgeable Deanna is! JP.

Fantastic experience: I was rehabbing from shoulder and bicep surgery. My therapist, Katherine was very knowledgeable, professional, and patient. She did a great job! The staff was excellent as well. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Fantastic experience: Deanna and the entire staff of Athletico were amazing. A month ago I was in so much pain and my range of motion was horrible. With their help, I fell so much better. The entire staff greets you and are extremely friendly. They care how you feel and take great care in taking cars of you!

Fantastic experience: At 13 months old, our son hadn't started crawling, pulling up to stand, or squatting down to pick things up. Deanna began in-home visits to help him gain the strengths and skills to be able to do so. He was SO stubborn and I was starting to become hopeless with his crawling, but Deanna saved the day! She was so, so good with Jaxson and he worked so hard for her! Within a couple of months, he began pulling up to stand. Within 3-4 months he was squatting down like it was no big deal (previously he'd have stiff legs and did not like bending them). By about 6 months, he began crawling (even after he was already walking for months!). He successfully crawls up the stairs without any encouragement at all and his strength is officially balanced across both sides of his body. THANK YOU, DEANNA!

Fantastic experience: I went in with a workman's comp claim, and they made sure to help in any way they could. They are PHENOMENAL! Monalee, the office manager, is great and super helpful. Dealing with insurance companies is never easy, but Monalee does it with grace and is great at getting back to the patient. Katherine is the best Physical Therapist ever! I went to her originally because I lived in South Elgin. Once I moved, I made the 20 minute drive because Katherine is who I trust most!

Fantastic experience: I just “graduated” after having five weeks of PT for a fractured ankle. The services I received were beyond exceptional from the first time I walked in the door and every treatment day there until the last. Fantastic experience: I had 2 different lower back injuries just months apart. Giving major kudos to Jennifer for solving it for me on the first one and Deanna on the 2nd one. I've had two lumbar laminectomy surgeries and I'm 63 so what I now know very well is these women really know what they are doing. Do the exercises they give you and they are good listeners so if things are changing during the treatment they adapt quickly and get you going again!

Fantastic experience: Deanne was fantastic and helped me with my herniated disc. Anytime I brought in a new issue she adjusted the treatment plan on the spot. Couldn't be more satisfied.

Fantastic experience: I walked into the Clinic and inquired if a someone could rewrap my arm. Within 5 minutes Kathrine came up front to rewrap my arm. She was gentle and caring as I had just injured my arm the day before. She wasn't satisfied with the first wrap she did, so she unwrapped my arm and redid it. I was very satisfied with her attention to detail, care and gentleness. I would highly recommend her. Thanks Kathrine

Fantastic experience: My therapist Jenny did amazing job with me twice within a 3 month period with 2 injuries. I have had Jenny before post surgery shoulder therapy years ago in which I can not say enough on my recovery process with her. The staff here is amazing from all the therapists, Alex, Angel and Monalee in working with me I recommend Athletico in So Elgin 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: I'm in physical therapy with Athetico currently. Its my 1st time here and I haven't had to do physical therapy in other places to compare but I can say so far so good. The staff and therapists are very nice and friendly. That being said, if you need physical therapy give Athletico a try.

Fantastic experience: Many thanks to Ray, Katherine and everyone else at this location. I started rehab with Katherine last fall to prevent an ankle tendon surgery. The care I received was great, but didn't prevent the surgery. I came back early this year for post-op rehab with Ray. I spent 6 weeks in his care, and am nearly back to my former self. Highly recommended, and I'll be back again if the need should arise.

Fantastic experience: The staff at the South Elgin Athletico are terrific. My therapists that worked with me Jenny, Katherine, Deanna, and Sara are great. The care and concern that they showed during my therapy was over the top. My ankle is doing much better since the first day that I was there. I will definitely recommend anyone to this facility and if I need any therapy in the future I will definitely go back there. Also the front desk staff did a great job with the scheduling of my appointments and also helping me to change appointments when needed. 5 star facility!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Athletico since before & after back surgery, and I really didn't even know how feeling normal felt! Ray, Katherine, Jason, Jen are awesome there. I had lingering shoulder pain over the weekend and went in Tuesday...Ray helped with some stretches, massages and exercises and I was seriously better that same night. Love it!

Fantastic experience: The entire staff at the South Elgin location was great! Jennifer took care of me after my knee surgery and then a few years later after foot surgery. Katherine and Ray took care of me the few times that Jennifer was off and you can feel good to know that anyone you see there will give you the same professional care. Fantastic experience: I just got finished up with PT for an ankle joint replacement. This is the third time in 5 years I have had Jenny as my PT. Twice for the same ankle and once for after a shoulder surgery. My son has seen her for sports related injuries and my wife has seen her as well. We cannot say enough about her and the entire staff at Athletico South Elgin! I hope we don't need any more PT for a while but if we do we know where we are going. Thanks again!

Fantastic experience: Over the past several years, I have had various challenges with aging body parts, including surgeries requiring rehab therapy. I've also had physical therapy in an effort to prevent more surgeries. At one time or another, I've seen each of the therapists at South Elgin Athletico and all have been excellent. My usual therapist is Jason, who is knowledgeable, patient and thorough. However, all the therapists are focused professionals, totally intent on helping their clients to successfully rehab. This facility is always my choice, when in need of physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: I had major back surgery late last year which left me with some pain and challenges. South Elgin Athletico has helped me immensely. The facility is kept clean and sanitized. All employees and patients wear masks. Being a senior citizen I have greater risk of covid but I feel very comfortable and safe at their site. All of the staff are very professional and attentive to patients needs. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs treatment.

Fantastic experience: I have had bilateral chronic Achilles Tendonitis for over a year and Jason and the staff at Athletico South Elgin helped give me my life back. I was in chronic pain every day and had previously seen numerous specialists and physical therapists and no one could help alleviate my symptoms. It was not until I began seeing Jason that I as able to get significant relief. The dry needling and the strengthening program was truly a life saver. I am now able to walk without pain and have started back into a regular exercise routine.

Fantastic experience: Very professional and helpful staff. Went there to help correct my running form which was causing hip pain. Ray was very helpful in prescribing drills and explaining to me what was causing the soreness. Would highly recommend.

I found the staff to be professional, well qualified and compassionate in understanding the pain yet moving forward with the rehab steps necessary to heal the injury. My Physical Therapist was Jenny. She’s very knowledgeable and she created options specifically tailored to my issue. I’m extremely pleased with my results. The entire staff works well together to make sure everyone receives attention and assistance. Monalee was on top of my rehab scripts and follow up with my insurance company, making my life a whole lot easier, especially while dealing with the pain from my injury. This is the place to go if you need to rehab!!

Fantastic experience: When i picked Athletico , i picked this location based on ratings and ease of getting in and out of the building, parking, etc. I was pleasantly surprised when I found so much more!!The people are are extremely helpful and pleasant.Ray was my Physical Therapist and you could not ask for more a knowledgeable and experienced PT. Everyone treated me like a friend.The PT assts Josh, Dan and Maggie were really helpful in keeping me on track. I will be back again when I have my other knee replaced.

Fantastic experience: Came in here after a bad fall on an ATV, fracturing my shoulder in two spots and detaching a rotor cuff tendon. After four weeks of physical therapy my shoulder is feeling stronger then ever. The entire staff there is so friendly and helpful. Jason was my physical therapist and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing physical therapy in the area. He really knows what he’s doing! On top of being very knowledgeable, you can see how much he cares about all of his patients and making sure they are all comfortable while they are there. Fantastic experience: This facility is amazing! Every therapist is highly qualified. I've had many major surgeries that require a physical therapist who knows what they're doing. The entire staff is friendly. My surgeon has their own physical therapist, however, I choose to go to Athletico.

Fantastic experience: Athletico in South Elgin is a great place to get physical therapy. This place is located in a strip mall by Junction of McLean Road and Bowes. My Physical Therapist was Jason. He is a great professional. He took such great care of me. They accommodated me with my schedules. The staff is amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. They are incredible and really care about their patients.
