We strive to adhere to the appointed appointment times, however, sometimes there are delays with the people who were seen before you, so we cannot guarantee that you will be seen at your designated walk-in time.
At Ortho Illinois, you can visit their Injury Express locations for specialized treatment of bones and joints. The three locations are in Rockford, Elgin, and Algonquin. You can make an appointment by clicking on the "Reserve a Walk-In Time" orange box. Injury Express in Rockford and Algonquin are open seven days a week, and Injury Express in Elgin is open from Monday to Saturday. For specific hours, click here.
Injury Express is a friendly clinic that provides treatment for strains, sprains, fractures, cuts, and scrapes. It is managed by a doctor with over twenty years of experience in emergency medicine, and is backed by the expertise of highly-skilled orthopedic surgeons.
Specialists provide a convenient care service with the necessary services available on-site, such as radiology, MRI, splinting and casting, as well as therapy. It is also possible to schedule an appointment for urgent follow-up with a specialist immediately.
Patients who are paying for their medical services themselves or those who are in the IDPA program are not eligible to receive Injury Express walk-in services. Additionally, patients who have not paid their Ortho Illinois account balances will not be able to utilize these services. For a list of insurance plans accepted for Injury Express services, please refer to the Participating Insurance Plans page.
Don't forget to bring your insurance card when you come! Payment is required before the service is provided, so make sure to check with your insurance company to find out if you are in or out of their network and what your co-payment is. Injury Express does not accept patients who pay for themselves.

Fantastic experience: Excellent concept, especially if you have a specific injury related to orthopedics. No waiting in a crowded ER or urgent care.Phenomenal service, I was taken care of and out within the hour.. Dr, X-ray , front desk and MA all professional. One suggestion is to have your after care either sent via electronic message or paper instructions. That would alleviate questions you may have when the dust settles

Fantastic experience: Very quick and efficient service. Was having shoulder pain, was registered right away, called back to the room for vitals less than 2 mins, X-Ray taken right away and exam done within timely fashion. Office was clean and everyone was friendly and listened to my concerns. Was given results of test and options for treatment plan. Five stars in my opinion!
