JAG-ONE Physical Therapy

Fantastic experience: I go to Jag in Union and I love it.. I have skeletal muscle issues including arthritis and spinal stenosis. The care is Superb..I love the staff from the secretary's to the therapists..Frank works on me before I leave.. I feel so much better after a workout and anxious for the next Session

Negative experience: I will preface this review with some basic information. I had two total knee replacements approx 10 months apart. The first time JAG did service my at home PT need and sent a therapist to my home for the first few sessions. At that time I would have probably provided a three or four star rating. However, after knee replacement #2 the service was absolutely horrendous. I arranged the PT prior to surgery so there would be no issue. I informed the therapist as soon as I got home so I could begin my at home PT. She came 30 minutes late the first day (she did text that she would be late). She was supposed to come the next day, she texted that she could not but would come the following day. On the following day she started texting that she didn’t know if she would make it. And at 3pm sent a text that she wasn’t coming and good luck. JAG sent no one to replace her, the response was we don’t have anyone. So, I was left to my own devices until I started outpatient PT elsewhere. Fast forward, JAG continues billing for the second visit (that never happened). I called at least 4 times to explain in detail what transpired. I offered screenshots of my texts with the therapist. I called not only the billing department but JAG as well & no one seems to want to call back or resolve anything. Today, 5 months after the no show appointment I made another attempt toward resolution and sent screenshots of text messages which clearly show the therapist telling me she was not coming and good luck. I advised the person at JAG if I didn’t hear from someone today I’d report this issue to the BBB. They clearly billed my insurance and me for an appointment they did not keep. I would not use this company for in home PT ever after this incident.

Fantastic experience: I truly appreciate the attention I received from my therapist. He was concern as I was for me to function at 100%. This is my first time getting treated at JAG but this is a facility that makes you feel welcome from the time you walk in the door.

Fantastic experience: EXCELLENT CARE & ATTENTION! A FUN ENVIRONMENT FOR PATIENTS TO BE IN!!!!!!! I've been a patient there for a few years (on & off). First for herniated discs, then b4 & after bilateral hip replacement surgery. I am SO HAPPY & EXCITED to have returned to "The Energizer Bunny" I ALWAYS was!!!!

Negative experience: I should have trust my gut feeling when I interacted with the receptionist. They were too busy laughing and joking and didn't explain what insurance Jag accepted.I gave them my primary and secondary ,she took photos and set the appt. Too my surprise I received a bill. I've had PT within the last five years the latest in 2022 at a different PT with the same insurance and was never billed. The front desk sets the tone for the company,in my opinion Jag One didn't. I was a receptionist/customer service for 30 years , I should have left and went elsewhere even on the phone the tone was not warm. The therapist were great. Actually I had to wait until they were done playing before they acknowledged me.

Fantastic experience: The staff is very knowledgeable friendly. On Your first visit, staff will have a one on one conversation to discuss your daily activities and challenges involved. Staff will then describe how they will address your health conditions.

Fantastic experience: By far the best Physical Therapy Center in NJ! They have the most knowledgable and caring staff that continued to work hard with me to get me back in the game. After I broke my arm in the All American Lacrosse game I thought I would never play Lacrosse again. After a few months with JAG I was better than ever! I highly recommend JAG to whomever looking to get back playing the game they love.

Fantastic experience: Jag One is awesome. I had a revisional surgery and I'm trying to get my life back on track and so far I am doing very well. The physical therapy team here is friendly and flexible and I don't know how they do it to balance all these different type of folks.

Fantastic experience: Jag-One is a great place for PT. I tore my ACL and with just PT I was able to walk again without crutches or a knee brace until surgery. My therapist, Matt Cirelli, is excellent! All of the staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Jag-One to anyone who needs physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: Getting PT at this location for a basketball shoulder injury, I have enjoyed my time getting better. The physical therapists at Jag-One have great exercises to help me. In addition, the atmosphere is very friendly, which motivates me to come in and work on getting my shoulder back to normal. I highly recommend the therapists at this location.

Fantastic experience: 6 months pregnant experiencing moderate- severe sciatic pain. My Physical Therapist Palek was amazing ! She was kind, professional and tailored my exercises for my needs of the day. In her absence, her team members Bre, Aaron and Kevin stepped up and helped out as well. This location run like a well oiled machine from the front desk staff to the clients being serviced. Everyone is so nice and friendly. I recommend this location if you want a speedy, most efficient recovery. I was up and walking in 3 weeks. Very thankful!

This is the first Physical Therapy office that I’ve been to that takes their time to get to learn and meet their clients individual needs. They create a plan that is uniquely designed by individual case. My Therapist is Matt, he has been an excellent help and works amongst a group of amazing individuals whose goals are very clear in the way that they handle their clients with care. I’m happy I found this office.

Fantastic experience: This is my third rehab at JAG One, my first in four years. Each time I come out stronger than before.

Fantastic experience: Currently receiving physical therapy at Jag One Union due to arthritis in my left knee. Operation well organized. Masks are mandatory. Equipment sanitized. The staff including receptionist, trainers and therapists are both friendly and welcoming. This is the first time I’m receiving PT. The exercises I perform are designed to reduce and hopefully eliminate the pain I experience. My therapy session which includes multiple exercises and a variety of stretches, changed after two weeks and proved to be more challenging which I welcome. Thumbs up to all team members and staff who works with me, are very supportive and monitors my progress. My treatment brings relief to pain I’ve suffered with for many months. Home exercises were recommended. I also like the fact my time is valued. Staff members monitor, train and guide you through each session. I’m a work in progress. Thanks to everyone at Jag One.

Fantastic experience: This is a great place for rehabilitation. I had rotator cuff surgery two years ago ; if it was not for the therapists there who pushed me and encouraged me and helped me to get my arm and shoulder back into shape I never would have accomplished the goals we set out together. As a Zumba instructor, I was determined to follow their expertise and do the exercises required to get back into shape and return to teaching Zumba which is my passion. Recently , I was not able to walk ; injured myself lifting heavy weights for 2 hours and then teaching my high intensity Zumba class. I was diagnosed with lumbar injury with evidence of spinal stenosis. Doctor said I needed physical therapy . I once again returned to Jag in Union. Met with the therapists who helped me before . Thanks to Matt and Bree and Jackie there they came to my rescue. The cupping and stint and massage gun and exercises lined out for me got me right back to where I was!!! The staff there, as well as the therapists , are amiable and kind and treat you hospitable. I definitely recommend this place for rehabilitation.

Fantastic experience: I've been to physical therapy quite a few times and it's not always a positive experience with overbooked therapists trying to give you five minutes of attention then sitting waiting for help. When I developed this tendonitis in my bicept muscle and my doctor suggested PT I thought it would be a waste of time and I would rather just get some medication but she felt I should try PT so I did. I picked JAG because it's close and I have been very very pleased with the help I received. Never abandoned and left sitting waiting for someone to notice me, I always had a therapist with me following my progress. Matt C was the best knowing what was helping and checking my arm every time I was there. All of the staff are friendly and open to helping you even the front desk. If you need help then come here because it's a wonderful experience and you'll be helped.

Fantastic experience: JAG-ONE PT on Morris Avenue in Union is the best. The facility is meticulous. Most of all the staff is great. Dustin and Frankie are the best PT's I've ever had. They are very professional and really take their time in administering my PT. Lisa is so helpful and also a great asset to your team. I would definitely recommend Jag-One to my family and friends.

Negative experience: I rate this place as deceptive.My son was going there for 2 weeks. He had worked with a therapist by the name of Matt 1 time during that time span. My son informed me that while leaving the facility that evening Matt went on to make a statement that made him feel uncomfortable. The statement ended in ..."DONT GET ARRESTED". You could imagine the hurt and anger I felt knowing that my son had to be exposed to such a derogatory and demeaning statement.there is too much of this going on. Why does my 14yo black son have to have a statement made to him by a white male of don't get arrested. Rather then say, have a good weekend..be safe...its sad.if you want to feel equal when being treated somewhere by all staff DO NOT go to JaG..Matt will never understand the discomfort and demeaning feeling that is as a young black man to have a white man say that to you..dont get arrested. Matt called me trying to say he was telling my 14yo a story and statement was a joke.I told him how is that a joke.you are the adult.he is a child. My son is not at all used to joking that way nor will he ever be. The manager Joe only tries to reschedule my sons appt when Matt wasn't there.my response to Joe was No.I will NOT continue business at a place where an employee can make such a demeaning and derrogitory statement and still be employed there!

Fantastic experience: I've had a wonderful experience at JAG in Union, NJ. Meredith has been my physical therapist through 2 injuries and a surgery since December 2017. I was treated for an ankle injury first (which I played sports on all summer with no problems!) and I knew before that therapy experience was over that I would definitley be returning to her care after hip surgery. Everyone is nice, informative, and really listens to my questions and concerns. I was previously with a different physical therapist at another company who I felt did not really hear me when I mentioned pain or lack of progress. The switch was like night and day, and I'm really happy working with all the therapists and assistants at JAG.

Fantastic experience: Great therapists, easy to schedule, clean and well-equipped gym. JAG PT in Union, run by Joe Persico, is a great place to heal from an injury or repetitive stress pain in your body. They take most insurance, and if yours is not included, they will work with you to sort out the most workable solution for you. They are very flexible with scheduling and other things.

Fantastic experience: I had the most wonderful experience with them for plantar fasciitis and shin splints. The PT noticed the problems right away and set about correcting them. These were something that 3 podiatrist didn't pick up on at all. Cured forever since if I have a little twinge, I know what to do now.
