Fantastic experience: I've been going to liberty physical therapy for about a year for various minor injuries and Nick and the team have been so incredibly helpful. I always feel much better after going and they give you good instructions and videos on what to do when you are at home so that you can work on yourself in between. Fantastic experience: I don’t know where I’d be without Liberty Physical Therapy! I started coming and working with Trupti at 20-something weeks pregnant with horrible pelvic pain. She worked me through exercises to strengthen my core and support my body for the rest of pregnancy, gave the best therapeutic massage that relieved my pain, and prepared me for delivery. I joked that the pt office became my new favorite place in the world during my pregnancy. Now I feel physically and mentally ready for labor thanks to Trupti and the Liberty PT team!

Fantastic experience: My 15-month old daughter was diagnosed with a moderate gross motor delay at her 12-month check-up. The pediatrician recommended physical therapy and without hesitation we went to see dr. Abby Wold twice a week. Within 3 weeks, my daughter learned how to crawl. Within another 2 weeks, she learned how to pull up. And now she is very close to walking! Dr. Abby Wold is very skilled at what he does, very patient and really cares about her patients. Her office's location is convenient for downtown parents and her hours are convenient for scheduling around naps. The pediatric office is a little private oasis with fun toys and bright colors. Thank you dr Abby!

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about Dr. Elfassi and this practice. I've been seeing Dr. Elfassi for about 4 months for pelvic floor PT post partum. Without her, I'd be on much worse shape. She's helped my achieve all my recovery goals and she's lovely to work with. If you're a new mom struggling post partum, I would absolutely recommend pelvic floor PT at Liberty and especially with Dr. Elfassi.

Fantastic experience: I recently had Patella Knee Pain in my left knee. I signed up for PT at Liberty Physical Therapy at the Grove Street location with Dr. Nirali Hira. I worked with her for approximately 14 weeks (twice a week) and she was great. She was friendly, knowledgeable about my knee pain, listened to my concerns, and provided great workout routines to ensure I continued strengthening my knee throughout the week at home. Now that my sessions have completed, I would say I’m 90% back to normal with increased balance and strength thanks to PT with Dr. Nirali Hira.

Positive experience: I recently completed a two-month therapy program at Liberty Physical Therapy, focusing on both lower back and pelvic floor therapy with Dr. Nirali Hira. I had a great experiece. Dr. Hira is not only professional but also warm and approachable. She ensured I understood her findings and was always open to answering my questions. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Lital for pelvic floor physical therapy. She really listened to my needs and goals, and made a plan that works for me. The pain was eliminated really soon and was able to build up strength really quickly. She taught me how to activate my deep core through exercises and I was able to go back to workout without being injured.

I worked with her during pregnancy to prep for childbirth and strengthen my pelvic floor in addition to addressing other related issues. She's patient, kind, and extremely helpful working through all of my issues. She helped manage my pain SIGNIFICANTLY and also helped me go into childbirth strong and confident. In addition, Liberty PT as a practice is also extremely professional and easy to work with (no long wait times, easy to book/cancel appointments, and a billing/customer service center that is easy to contact and resolves issues asap) HIGHLY recommend using this practice ESPECIALLY going to Lital for any pre-pregnancy and post-parturm pregnancy issues and beyond. Fantastic experience: I came in with a knee inflammation problem. I was asked to do a couple of mobility test & from there Maria knew exactly what to do. I started coming to her Fridays & Saturdays. Maria is very attentive & she’s always working to challenge her patients when it comes to stability & mobility. She was great to work with & at the end of our session period, my knee improved. Fantastic experience: I came to liberty physical therapy after suffering for months with issues such as pelvic pain and urinary troubles. It seemed to come out of nowhere, and it was debilitating with many doctors and specialists not able to pin it down. Finally I read about pelvic floor therapy and found Dr. Lital. I really cant say enough about my experience at this office and with this doctor. She is kind and understanding of what is going on, she explained to me in detail exactly what was going on in my body which gave me so much mental relief. Through therapy and exercises that have helped me strengthen areas that were incredibly weak and tight, I have got my life back. Dr. Lital is extremely informative and has many exercises and stretches that help the pelvic region. There are not many doctors that specialize in male pelvic floor therapy, but if you are struggling with such issues this is the place to see actual results. Shout out Dr. Lital she is amazing!

Fantastic experience: I've been in occasional therapy with Jeff Gold for approximately 4 months. I started shortly after hand surgery and had an extremely limited range of motion. Jeff did a fantastic job at explaining the processes taking place in my hand and was willing to give extra time and attention when needed. I firmly believe his proactive and caring approach help influence my increasingly positive outcomes. If you ever find yourself in need of occupational therapy, go to Jeff.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love my PT - Vaishali Mada at Liberty Physical Therapy(JC Downtown location). I am 9 months post op - MPFL Reconstruction patient. I first started my post op rehabilitation at a different Physical therapy practice which worked well during my initial stages of recovery but once I hit the 6 months post op mark, the lack of personalized attention from my previous therapist was reflecting in my progress. I was also spending 2 hours per session with my old practice because they tend to overbook many patients at once which meant that I wasn't called in at the scheduled time of my appointment, and then once I was in, I was doing several repeat exercises from memory as very limited material change was made to my program. This felt discouraging and monotonous without achieving much progress. At this point is when I made the switch over to Liberty physical therapy and immediately 2 things worked well for me 1) The therapist is with you the entire time, except for a short overlap when another patient comes ensuring the personal attention you deserve and 2) Each therapy session lasts no more than 45 mins start to finish, which makes planning for time off from work or personal engagements manageable and predicable. Liberty Physical's approach is quality of exercise over quantity of time spent on them. From the get go, I had informed Vaishali that my goal was to get back to running and she made sure that I did by curating a structured exercise plan that comprised of a variety of exercise options and she also gave me a training plan to resume running which was easy to follow and didn't appear too ambitious and unattainable. Happy to report that I ran my first 5k and finished it in almost the same time as I was able to record pre-op and have now successfully added running to my exercise routine. I couldn’t have been more happier with my switch to Liberty Physical Therapy and grateful to have found a personable, kind and supportive therapist in Vaishali.

Fantastic experience: I seldom leave reviews, but Dr Trupti is phenomenal and we need more awareness about pelvic floor health. The OB 6 weeks clearance is ludicrous and doesn’t cover basic pelvic internal exam. Dr Trupti is very knowledgeable and has excellent bedside manners. She accompanied me following an emergency C section. I greatly benefited from scar tissue massage, Diastasis recti rehab (although had only 1-2 fingers, still beneficial) and pelvic floor work to rebuild strength post pregnancy and loosen up tensions, which can cause painful intimacy (tightness often due to holding stress, doesn’t equal strength and intimacy shouldn’t hurt). Be kind to yourself and get proper pelvic floor care!

She really makes sure you understand everything you’re working on and the body mechanics and how it relates to everyday activities which I thought was very helpful to be able to connect the work into my life to help make some changes. I came in with some lower back pain in my 2nd trimester and I feel like a new person and confident about how handle my body throughout the rest of my pregnancy. The facility is clean, inviting and the front desk staff are always very friendly!

Fantastic experience: Don’t typically write reviews but I’m happy to share my incredible experience with Dr. Lital Elfassi and the rest of the Liberty team. I struggled with pelvic pain for over a year, bouncing from doctor to doctor and not making any progress. In my 29 years on this planet, I have never thought about the pelvic floor or even heard much about it in my life. It quickly became my entire life and hindered my ability to do the simple things in my daily routine. Dr. Elfassi is the first medical professional I’ve encountered throughout the last year that genuinely cares about her patients. She uses a very educational approach, which is very valuable for someone like myself that is interested in the “why” throughout the process. Most importantly, I’m treated with compassion. Dealing with health obstacles can be daunting and very often you feel like just another number with other medical professionals. Dr. Elfassi is the complete opposite, which has been extremely refreshing and comforting after feeling very discouraged throughout this process. If you are skeptical about physical therapy, I’d encourage you to be more curious than judgmental (shoutout Ted Lasso) because the progress I’ve made physically and mentally has been stellar to say the least.

Fantastic experience: Liberty Physical Therapy has turned my life around! I started coming for Pelvic PT to address pain from having endometriosis. Even though I had had a procedure to remove the tissue, my body had not fully recovered from the impact the disease had caused. After just a few visits to Dr. Sadalge, I quickly saw results! I am now completely pain free. She allowed me to feel comfortable and educated me on stretches, breathing technicals and everyday habits to allow me to continue living a pain free life. Fantastic experience: Jeff Gold is an amazing hand specialist. I fractured my wrist in November 2023, and my hand and forearm were immobilized until mid-January 2024. My orthopedic doctor stressed how important it was to see an experienced occupational therapist. When I first started working with Jeff, I was only able to move my fingers a little bit and was unable to literally do anything with my hand. Jeff took the time to listen to my experience, was always conscious of my pain level, and planned and tailored all exercises to meet my needs. On top of being thorough and knowledgeable, Jeff had an excellent bedside manner. He made me feel comfortable immediately. He always showed me the exercises, explained what the exercise targeted, and was kind and patient when I had a hard time with something. Before working with Jeff, I couldn't put on my clothes by myself, use utensils, brush and blowdry my hair, and open doors, just to name a few. Not only can I do all the essentials now, but I am back to my extracurricular activities, including yoga, pilates, and gardening. There is no way I would have made this amount of progress by just looking up some exercises online. Even when I thought I was doing an exercise right, I often wasn't. Jeff was quick and kind with correcting me. I'm so grateful for all his guidance and support. Fantastic experience: I diagnosed with RA at three years old, I have known pain my whole life, and consequently have never been able to do much physically. I began physical therapy here a few months ago with Nicole and since then I have gradually been able to increase my physical tolerance. It sounds small but tasks such as folding laundry are no unbearable. I feel myself getting stronger, and it is exciting; I am starting to be able to do the things I love for longer durations of time without pain wiping me out for days afterwards. She supported me with pelvic floor issues, prepped me for labor, taught me how to push, and helped with evolving hip and pelvic joint pain throughout my trimesters. I had a miserable pregnancy and pelvic PT really helped me retain some level of comfort. I pushed a total of 4 times to deliver my baby. The Drs were amazed at my pushing! They kept asking me what I did and where I learned it. Lital for the win! Happy to be back now postpartum to strengthen my pelvic floor and get things back to normal function.

Negative experience: I had a really bad experience and wouldn’t recommend any one of their services. I was 4 months pregnant when I went in for Tennis Elbow and my goal was to get rid of my pain before the baby arrives. Heeling was far out of question, I got unnecessary additional stress dealing with them. They have very rude Billing Staff especially Jerry and Julia. They never clarified that they were Out of Network when I was starting and when I asked them for a billing statement or clarification on the charges of the services, as was suggested by my insurance, they lost their patience and used disrespectful derogatory language, during our very first conversation. I would stay far away from this facility and save myself the stress and hassle of dealing with unprofessional rude staff. I ended up going to a different place and they were able to help me get better within 5 sessions on my elbow pain and most importantly were warm and respectful.

Fantastic experience: John was a pleasure to have as my physical therapist. He was thorough with his examinations and transparent with his professional thoughts over the problem and what the healing journey will be like. He showed positive reinforcement and confidently answered any questions I threw his way. We had a great time during our PT sessions and I felt stronger and stronger after each one. He strengthened my body and also taught me how be mindful over my body and posture and correct myself if needed. Thanks John you were amazing!

Fantastic experience: I have EDS and hypermobility, which makes it hard to find a PT who knows how to help me. John has done incredible work with me. I’m have more stability, strength, and stamina in my everyday life and less pain in my back. He was always patient and explained everything as we went along. Fantastic experience: My 7 month old sees Dr. Abby to help him with gross motor milestones . She is energetic and distracts him to keep him motivated ! As a first time parent , I find it super helpful that she explains each exercise , gives tips for practicing at home and reviews upcoming milestones. The facility is clean and there are so many different props and age specific toys to keep your little one active during their physical therapy sessions. I appreciate the little steps that Liberty PT takes to keep the pediatric space clean for the kiddos like asking caregivers (& physical therapist) to take off shoes before entering the exam room (baby does his sessions on the floor mat ) and wiping the mats between clients . The pre-appointment reminder texts and portal access with specific exercises are also amazing !

Fantastic experience: I am absolutely pleased with a rehabilitation therapy I have received at Liberty Physical Therapy & Wellness in Jersey City, NJ, where I met with an outstanding expert in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide scope of orthopedic conditions, John Van Der Karr. I came to this facility after being frustrated with a persistent pain in a hip after a fall accident for over year where John after careful examination recommended specific exercises which relieved pain, improved flexibility and range of motion in my hip. The whole team is amazing including front desk team, however, I would like to say a few words about Corinne Piren, the occupational therapist, who is an expert in hand therapy. Corinne is a very beautiful person, very passionate, knowledgeable, she worked with me after my complex surgery for over 6 months and thanks to Corinne’s and John’s dedication to help their patients to obtain the maximum if not the full potential, I am back to my regular lifestyle almost free of pain, back to playing tennis and enjoying my life. I found Liberty after having a less-than-positive experience with another PT facility. The front desk team were incredibly friendly and helpful, and made the process of filing insurance claims and getting appointments easy and seamless, My therapist, John Van Der Karr, was just the person I needed to help in my recovery. He was patient, caring, listened to my concerns, explained the purpose of the exercises, and worked with me to improve strength, range of motion and functionality of my knee. Fantastic experience: Jeff is an amazing therapist. I had a pinched nerve from cycling that was causing tingling in my left hand, and I was both terrified that it might never go away and I wouldn't really be able to bike again, which is my greatest joy. Thanks to Jeff's patient, instructive, and thorough guidance, the tingling was gone in just over a month and I'm back to my cycling routine stronger than ever and more tuned into my body than I've ever felt. This should help guide me for the rest of my life and have me more aware of my body, and I'll be forever grateful for that.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been working with Jeff Gold for a couple of months on my shoulder injury, and I've found his approach incredibly practical, thoughtful, and caring. Initially uncertain about the cause of my injury, Jeff assisted me in examining and analyzing my workout routine, pinpointing potential vulnerabilities in my shoulder. He provided a wealth of recommendations on which exercises to include and the correct way to perform them, aiming to strengthen my shoulders and increase their adaptability under various conditions. Jeff's instructions on exercise execution were exceptionally clear and intuitive. His passion for helping his clients improve is evident. He enthusiastically answered all my questions, including those about general best practices in resistance training.

Fantastic experience: I just completed PT with Jeff Gold for a frozen shoulder. I had a lot of pain and could not move my arm upright past my chest. He was amazing!! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the upper body and knows what it takes to recover from issues related to this area of the body. He was very patient and guided me throughout the process. He was always prepared for our sessions, trying different stretches and gave me detailed exercises to do at home. After a couple weeks of going, the pain that I was feeling was gone and after about 2 months, I was back to normal. I would def recommend him and Liberty for PT.

Fantastic experience: This is the best physical therapy I’ve ever had! I went for pelvic floor PT after two kids in three years and was floored by how quickly I saw results. Everyone is different, but I was able to graduate in two months. I cannot recommend my therapist, Lital, enough! Fantastic experience: Jeff Gold is the best hand therapist (occupational therapist) one can ever get! I fractured my right hand in a car accident and because I was wearing a cast for too long, my pinky and ring finger could no longer bend after the bones healed. I was told by my doctor that this could be permanent so I eagerly sought for therapy. After just one session with Jeff, magically my pinky and ring finger were able to bend again! I continued my sessions with Jeff and now I'm able to bend all my fingers and make a fist without any issue. The correction process was so fast that even my hand doctor was pleasantly surprised when I saw him again two weeks later. On top of being so effective, Jeff is also the most kind, patient, considerate and creative in his practice -- in fact, I learned to play guitar because of him as he used it as one of the exercises for my fingers!

Fantastic experience: I saw John a few times to deal with a nagging knee injury. I’d seen multiple PTs at this point and was frustrated that I still didn’t feel like myself. John was a breath of fresh air! He very quickly identified the issue, helped me understand it, and I saw progress. Plus, I was able to talk NBA basketball whenever I came in, which made the visits that much better. Go Pelicans!

Fantastic experience: I have just finished two months of PT with Vaishali at Liberty Physical Therapy. I came in three times a week and tried to do the homework Vaishali gave to me as much as possible. I am pleased about the progress of the recovery and feel blessed. Vaishali is extremely patient, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, she cares. I had many questions at the start and some doubts, of course. She always provided a good amount of info and helped me to learn more about my foot ankle and the progress of recovery. She actively adjusted the plan based on how I reacted, and added new exercises to ensure I could keep improving, challenging myself, and building confidence. I’d highly recommend her if you are looking for someone to work with you to get back to your life and be stronger! I am planning to continue working with her until a full recovery!
