Fantastic experience: I broke femur October 9, 2025, had er surgery with a placement of titanium neck bone. Used a walker for a week and was able to graduate to a cane and now barely use the cane. Goal: let go of cane. It’s been 9 weeks since my surgery. I owe my recovery to PRAYER, GOD, THE GANG AT PT SOLUTIONS, esp Aiken, Emmanuel and Melody, and lots of hard work on my part. I’m grateful to the whole staff at PT SOLUTIONS. The ladies at the front desk make the registration process so easy. Love the whole team. I’m grateful for each person there!

Fantastic experience: PT Solutions has helped me get back to myself following a bad break of my left leg. This happened two years ago, and the clinicians developed a plan to increase my ability to walk, sit and stand again! Over these two years, I have returned several times for 'tune-ups' that target my strength and balance. The folks at PT Solutions are professional, compassionate, and very good at what they do.

My trainer, Mark, is quite personable and well trained. He conducted a very thorough interview of my current health and of what I was hoping to achieve with the PT training sessions.

Fantastic experience: I just started PT here after ankle surgery and I’m already so pleased. I feel stronger and although PT is challenging, I know I’m being set up for a successful recovery. I’m excited to continue to work with Akin as I get back on my feet, he challenges me just the right amount so I’m not overdoing and is great at explaining the benefits of each exercise/ stretch etc. The staff are all so friendly, they always have good music playing and there’s plenty of parking, I highly recommend PT solutions of Potomac Yard.

Fantastic experience: PT Solutions of Potomac Yard is simply the best. They are helping me rebuild my life and mobility after major surgery and I'm progressing amazing well, thanks to their care. Every therapist seems to be a PhD, the knowledge and expertise of the entire staff is the best I've ever seen. My therapist is Emmanuel and he is absolutely amazing. Negative experience: Extremely rude staff, I tried to set up an appointment today. Jasmine kept cutting me off and acting annoyed with my questions. I’ve never done PT before so I thought they might want to help me out but I guess I was wrong. Management should listen to the calls today 3/26 and figure out who it was. I was very nice and cordial. I scheduled with a different center.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about the physical therapists at this clinic. I found out last year that I had to have knee surgery, and they helped me pre-hab before I had surgery, and worked with me through my recovery. Anthony, Alex and Avery are the BEST physical therapists I have ever worked with, if you are in need of PT, I highly recommend you come here! They are extremely knowledgeable and create an incredible atmosphere at the clinic. I could not have done it without them!

Negative experience: Offer a free consultation to get you in the door but then pressure you to agree that it was actually an 'evaluation' so that they can bill your insurance over $700 and charge you $250

Negative experience: The level care here was not as good as other PTs I have been to in the area. It felt like the therapist kept trying different things without having a solid plan. This place also charges about 3x more than other PT offices (despite being in-network). Had I gotten the pricier bill sooner, I would have left even sooner instead of wasting time and money.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend the team at PT Solution Potomac Yard. I had reconstructive foot and ankle surgery after several years of ignoring an injury. I have to admit, I was skeptical that I’ve ever be able to function again without moderate to severe pain. The team of experts at PT Solutions worked with me multiple times a week, crafting plans that both challenged me and encouraged me to move forward with my recovery. I’m 6 months post-op and I really owe my progress to them. Thank you, Anthony, Joel and Alex. I’ll be forever grateful for your support!

Positive experience: I went in here to get physical therapy on my shoulder. Two different therapists worked with me during my 10 appointments. They introduced me to several exercises that went a long way toward resolving my shoulder issues. I also think that I can use these exercises on my own to avoid similar shoulder issues in the future. The time I spent here and money the insurance company spent on my care was well worthwhile. I have already recommended this place to one of my co-workers who is now another satisfied customer.

Fantastic experience: Anthony and Ali are amazing!!!! I literally go to this facility because of how great there customer service is! Anthony has came a long way, I was his first patient 2 years ago with vertigo and he treated it well and cleared it up! Fantastic experience: Yes, I'm still playing "beer league" softball at 37 years old. After years of tendonitis in my shoulder that I ignored because it wasn't "that" bad and it didn't really affect anything other than softball, I was so happy when I showed up at PT Solutions and Simie and Anthony reassured me that a) we could fix this and b) wanting to be able to throw like my old self is a completely valid reason for physical therapy. After a month or so of working on building up core and back strength, Simie took me outside to critique and work on my throwing form! After years of avoiding pain in my shoulder, I had built really bad habits that needed to be corrected. It worked Last night in our playoff game, I threw a rocket (the team's words, not mine) from right field for a put out at home. And I woke up this morning pain free. The team at PT solutions are not only capable and professional, but they create an atmosphere that is welcoming and provide all the intangibles that separate them from others. Don't misunderstand, Anthony and the team will work you hard, but their personalities and individual attention will make the 400 miles of inch worms/supermans you'll do slightly more tolerable. Thanks to their programming, I was able to go from a fairly serious lower body injury to recently hiking more than 100 miles through challenging terrain in less than 5 months. Fantastic physical therapists and a fantastic physical environment for healing and strengthening injuries.

Fantastic experience: The PTs here are so good, I don't even know where to start. I came to them with knee issues after seeing another PT for about a year where I was making progress, but at a snail's pace. That PT closed so I had to find a new one and now looking back, that was the best thing that could have happened to me. I mainly worked with Alex, who was absolutely amazing! I visited him twice a week for one hour each session, and he always had a clear plan for my therapy. He challenged me but made sure to pay attention to when I wasn't feeling well or up to certain exercises on any given day. Alex was extremely patient with me and helped me to regain my confidence again with running, despite my knee issues. On top of that, the entire staff was so incredible. The other PTs, Kelsey and Anthony were always friendly and encouraging, and Andrea at the front desk was so welcoming and always greeted me with a smile and conversation, every single day. Overall, I felt like everyone at this location was truly invested in my therapy, wanted to see me get better, and took the time to genuinely engage with me and get to know me as a person. While I'm happy to now be out of PT, I really do miss seeing all of them there every week, because they became my friends. If you are looking for a PT location that has experienced professionals who will push you and truly be invested in you and your recovery, then this is your place--I cannot recommend this location and the individuals working there enough!

Fantastic experience: This was my first experience with physical therapy, and I can't imagine a better introduction than the one I had! Alex was the main PT I worked with, but I eventually had appointments with all the PTs on staff and I always felt supported and listened to. Every single staff member was professional, knowledgeable, kind, fun, engaged and genuinely dedicated to helping me recover. Everyone readily answered questions and made sure I came away with a better understanding of my injuries as well as the knowledge to manage them and prevent future ones. Desk staff were also extremely helpful and communicative in helping me with insurance issues. Going to PT quickly became one of the best parts of my week!? I also showed up the first day with some anxiety around being inside with strangers during the pandemic, and those concerns were quickly alleviated. They do a good job maintaining distancing, masking, cleaning, etc. I really cannot overstate my thanks and appreciation for everyone at PT Solutions of Potomac Yard. Fantastic experience: What a wonderful place and therapists to help me strengthen my body. I have the pleasure of having worked with the therapists at PT Solutions over the last couple of years. In the beginning, Sarah was my therapist who helped me to keep this body in motion when it seemed it no longer wanted to. Arthritis had long been my nemesis and finally I reached such a state that I underwent spinal surgery in early 2020. Then, coronavirus began making headlines and would not relent for months affecting everything in its wake. Part of my rehabilitation plan meant that I had to learn the basics of movement again. It was a daunting prospect to say the least. But upon returning to PT Solutions in July, I met Alex and he picked up right where Sara left off...coaching, pushing and encouraging me to trust that my body could do more than I give it credit for. Almost one year post-op and I am grateful to be able to move at all, but even more so without the excruciating pain that sidelined me for so long. I never imagined that squats, modified push-ups and various weight bearing exercises would be part of my vocabulary as a septuagenarian. Though I grin and bear it during each session (beneath my mask), I have the wonderful staff at PT Solutions to thank for that. The therapists (Kelsey, and now Alex) brought me from a pretty weak state back to a very good level of functioning. The therapists are proactive, but also careful and thoughtful in designing a therapy plan. I brought my husband here for therapy, and also have recommended them to friends. Fantastic experience: I could not recommend PT Solutions enough ! I decided to go visit this clinic based on my primary doctors recommendation and I am so glad I went. From the first interaction with Dr. Alex Andre, I knew that this clinic would be the place to work with my lumbar pain and “sciatica” like symptoms. I called and Dr. Andre he answered the phone, I explained my symptoms and was able to get an appointment a few days after. I have to tell you, I was not disappointed. Dr. Andre’s methods are different from other physical therapists. He really takes the time to explain what causes the pain and how their therapy recommendations will address the cause. Each treatments begins with a warm up and a follow up treatment from the previous visit. I address any symptoms I feel to Dr. Andre and we get right to work! Each week we addressed the areas of concern and we had a different treatment plan to build strength and “specialized”, exercises. ( Some of those exercises are extremely challenging but only helped out in the long run and I continue to do to this day. ) The clinic specializes in exercises that will strengthen your weaker muscle groups in order to improve proper movement and body mechanics. I highly recommend them. I would continue to see them as long as they let me! Do yourself a favor and just book an appointment.

Fantastic experience: I had the best physical therapy experience ever at this location! My therapist Anthony was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and professional, plus a lot of fun to be around. He also gave me the confidence to recover quickly from my sprained ankle/broken foot, and gave me exercises to do that strengthened my core. I was back to normal activity (including walking 3-4 miles a day, hiking, and dancing) just two months after my injury. Everyone who works at this facility, from the receptionists Madeline and Andrea, to the other therapists Kelsey and Georgi, are very pleasant. I had an excellent experience and while I hope I won’t need physical therapy again for awhile, I am happy to know I have the perfect place for it!

Fantastic experience: This is the best Physical Therapy group Ever. Everyone here is friendly, and they make a great team. The therapist work directly with you, they do not pass you off to a helper half way through the session as other places do. They are 5 stars in every way.

Fantastic experience: Experience is the best teacher. I began my therapy with Alex at Potomac Yard Solutions in August, 2020. After a compound fracture of my left ankle, from a fall In March, 2019, while loading my groceries... and then surgery at the GW Trauma Center...the surgeon expressed concern the damage was so severe “he was not sure I would ever walk again.” In August 2020 I was authorized to begin my therapy. I chose this provider based on location but was also thrilled with how clean and well equipped it was. The Team demonstrated that all Covid precautions were a top priority. Though frightened and discouraged,, I knew I wanted my balance and mobility back! After a focused and thorough assessment, Alex developed a therapy plan, based on my stated goal of being able to once again “walk on the beach with my children and five grandchildren ( aged 2-10.)” Working three days a week for an hour at each session, I was determined to give it my all! Thanks to a perfect balance of challenge and reassurance, Alex attentively guided my daily progress with both skill and compassion. His positive attitude and personal interest in my progress was a definite incentive. I found the going a bit tough at first and felt a bit apprehensive on arrival but was totally thrilled when the session was over about the progress I was experiencing. Eventually when he asked for ten reps... I’d do twelve just to prove to him that I was 100% determined to make it happen. By Late November... my progress was such that we agreed to move to two sessions a week and everyone,, including dear Kelsey, said I was “an inspiration for always maintaining my personal commitment to recovery. “ It’s a Team effort and one must choose to join in with the therapist to achieve the agreed goals. Mini assessments along the way also provided additional support of continuing progress. Thank you, dear Alex... and the Team, for giving me my life back! Today... I’m actually walking on the beach with my daughter on a beautiful beach on the south shore of Panama. She and all my family add their applause for the professional, personal and restorative care provided by Alex and the Team at PT Solutions Potomac Yard! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with the services and expertise that I experience at PT Solutions. I've been to other PT companies before and I would rate this company as the best one I've worked with. I worked with Alex Andre who was very skilled and knowledgeable about my condition and provided the attention, exercises, and skill that helped me deal with my hip problem and allowed me to return relatively pain-free to activities that were somewhat challenging before my pt experience there.

Fantastic experience: All of the staff here are very professional and informative. They have all been extremely helpful whenever I’ve had a question or concern, and helped with improving my home workouts. The atmosphere is motivating and fun. A first timer to PT, I have found it to be a great place to get expert advice on how to get rid of pain and get my strength and stability back postpartum. Dry needling has been extremely helpful for releasing years of tension and overworked muscles!

Fantastic experience: I worked with Alex and he was able to get me back to full strength quicker than I anticipated. He was super helpful and listened to any pains or aches that I had and ensured that I was doing the correct things to resolve them. With less than 15 sessions, I'm back to near full strength. Madeline was also super helpful with any questions that I had regarding how insurance and payment plans were being handled. I had my reserves about PT in general but this facility was well worth it.

Fantastic experience: I started coming to PT Solutions after a total hip replacement surgery in October 2020. I worked with Anthony and he got me back on track in a very quick period of time. Anthony listened to my goals, heard what I wanted to get from my therapy, and then set me to WORK! I knew Anthony was setting me on the path to getting back to normal so I dug deep and followed his directions. In addition to Anthony's professional guidance, I really have to give a shout out to PT Solutions overall. I found the location extremely friendly, accepting, and supportive. It really was exactly what I needed to get through my therapy and it honestly helped me mentally too because of Covid isolation. I really needed the mental and interpersonal stimulation. That was an unexpected but added bonus.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I both went to PT Solutions in Potomac Yard for separate issues, and we both had a great experience. We worked with Alex, who was incredibly knowledgeable of all the different joints and muscles in the body and very easy to work with. My session typically started with a warm up walk on the treadmill and a series of stretches, followed by a targeted massage of the injured area (for me, my knee) by Alex. Alex would then have me do various exercises, to help increase balance, flexibility, and strength. Alex easily explained the exercises and the reason why each was so important. If I wanted to learn more, he would send me follow-up emails and articles, as well as stretches/exercises I should be doing at home. Alex was a professional and he made quick work of my injury—within a month, I felt as good as new!

Fantastic experience: PT Solutions of Potomac Yard (1561 Potomac Greens Drive, Alexandria, VA) “Is Simply The BEST of The BEST”! I was referred for therapy by my primary physician for lumbar nerve root disorder. I came to PTS with excruciating knee pain and an aching stride which resemble “ a Charlie Chaplin walk”! Ms Kelsey Newman is exceptional amazing. Kelsey was both knowledgeable and intuitive in her approach to my therapy. She incorporated a program specifically designed with my needs and goals in mind using her keen sense of restorative and kinetic understanding. I have also worked with Mr Alex Andre. Alex is a phenomenal physical therapist….. I adore Madeline and Andrea, the front desk administrative staff. They are professional, helpful and super nice! The entire current staff at PTS Potomac Yard is excellent “at what they do” and provides a very welcoming environment to their clients. PT Solutions of Potomac Yard gets my 5 stars without hesitation. From the bottom of my heart, thank you PT Solutions of Potomac Yard!

Fantastic experience: I have worked with PT solutions twice over the past 2 years, for both neck issues and back issues. I had gone to a different PT group in 2010 for back issues, and did not have good resolution of my issues, so I was skeptical of PT, but decided to try it again. I have had great experiences all the way around. The therapists there are incredibly knowledgeable and take a much more personalized approach vs a cookie cutter one. I worked with Kelsey twice and she blended exactly the right balance of figuring out what the problem was, designing a plan specifically for me, listening, and adjusting it real time as needed. During my second time around for the back (brought on by my being over ambitious about moving a sofa myself) I worked with Alex as well as Kelsey, and have many of the same compliments for his style. By the time I “graduated” from PT in January, my back issues were 90-95% gone, and I had a plan for flare ups. Since then, I have been in great condition. Andrea and Madeline at the front desk are delightful to work with, and very efficient and effective about what they do (including dealing with those pesky insurance companies!) I highly recommend PT solutions to anyone, and would go back there anytime.

Fantastic experience: There are not enough superlatives for rating the PT Solutions Physical Therapy at 1561 Potomac Greens Drive. The facility is clean, large, and bright with many large windows. The staff is professional, helpful and very pleasant. I would particularly commend Kelsey Newman who works with my wife on her balance and stamina and Andrea Rivera, the receptionist, for all her assistance always with a bright smile. Definitely a 5 star operation.

Fantastic experience: This place is great. The windows, light, equipment, and interior make a really pleasant environment. But the staff is really the reason I come to this place. I have been working on some post OP PT with the staff and highly recommend this place.
