Fantastic experience: This place really helped me get to the root of my addiction it's a smaller treatment center then the other ones I have been to but this one is more relaxing and you get your own room the staff are so nice and understanding there not like other treatment centers that only worry about getting you in and getting you out I highly recommend this place and the owner is really amazing and the house manager is really amazing

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for the best inpatient drug rehabs in San Diego and La Jolla, you need to attend Harmony Grove Recovery. They have introduced me to the past that has been fueling my addiction use. This is where the other two drug and alcohol addiction treatment centers failed. I felt like I was being cared for by family there. Nora, is hands on and helps all thier clients achieve long-term recovery.

Fantastic experience: Place was very welcoming! Comfortable, relaxing with friendly staff. Personal private rooms. Groups were informative and supportive. Food ordered every week, dinner made for you nearly every night! Very accommodating and helpful. You’ll be sure to enjoy yourself and be in a safe place.

Harmony is a beautiful place to recover from your disease and recover yourself… back to the person who you once were. Do your journaling, share experiences with new friends/clients, Except the amazing counseling and just breathe in the new you… Love yourself and embrace your willpower. Harmony Grove saved my life. I am beyond grateful for there help navigating me into sobriety.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this place, it was easily the best and most productive addiction rehabilitation center I have been too. The staff is very professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate; they made my time there a wonderful experience. I always felt safe and well cared for. They also addressed my co-occurring mental illnesses not just my addictions. I never write reviews but I wanted to share my experience here in case it helps someone else battling with addiction. I would not hesitate to send my most loved ones here should they need help with addiction.

Fantastic experience: This place really saved my life. Best gift I ever gave myself. Nora and her staff really care about the clients. I feel like I’ve gained a new family. I also am transitioning to outpatient so it’s safe to say once you’re done they don’t send you home and forget about you. The highly trained staff helped me really dig deep into core issues of why I was drinking instead of “just stop.” Harmony Grove really felt like home so the only bad thing I could say about it is that I’m really gonna miss it here!

Fantastic experience: I found Harmony Grove Recovery searching for Recovery centers near my home. I was at the tail end of a year long relapse with alcohol. When I called the telephone number, I was in the throes of some pretty bad withdrawal symptoms, and not entirely committed to entering treatment. I scheduled to visit the facility the next morning. The house itself is in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. I took a tour of the inside, and was very impressed by the cleanliness of the house. It seemed very warm and welcoming. The house manager, who is awesome by the way, explained all the amenities and I decided right then to enter treatment. I spent a little under 30 days recovering at the house, and am continuing on with IOP due to my extremely positive experience during my time at Harmony Grove. While there I participated in both group and one on one therapy regularly. Each session was very informative. We went as a group to AA meetings on some nights. The house manager made dinner every night, and she's a great cook. The staff as a whole is great... Doctors, Nurses, and especially the kind woman who runs the program overall. All my needs were accommodated. I left the facility feeling both confident and optimistic about my future in recovery. More so than any other time in my 25ish years of drinking. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who struggles with substance abuse. You will definitely be on the right path after your stay there.

Fantastic experience: Harmony Grove Recovery saved my life, my family and my job. I had no idea how to take the first step. I had given up already without really trying. I had back slid for the 3rd time in my life. Filled with trauma, addiction and totally lost. I walked into Harmony Grove Recovery spiritually dead, physically and mentally torn. Nora was heaven sent. I had given up hope finding a place that was available because I kept hitting dead ends. Nora guided me through one of my toughest back slides of my life. Harmony Groves staff helped set the tools for the success in my recovery. I have now been sober for over 2 years. I highly recommend this facility. This place is definitely a place of healing. I felt safe and comfortable. Loved the hiking and the yoga classes provided there. The marriage counseling was essential to heal the damage that was caused by my addiction. Fantastic experience: This is the best residential inpatient addiction treatment center I have ever attended. Inpatient drug rehabs are difficult. You must learn about your addiction and how to best cope with it for the rest of your life. Harmony Grove Recovery teaches you the tools you need. What they did that the other rehabilitation centers do not is getting to the core of your addiction. I had underlying trauma that was causing me to repeatedly relapse. Fantastic experience: Cannot express my gratitude enough for my experience here at Harmony Grove Recovery! The staff is amazing and always has our best interests in mind. I felt welcomed and knew I was in the right place from my initial phone call and the moment I walked through their doors. I have grown so much as an individual during my experience here at Harmony Grove Recovery and have learned many skills and tools to continue my recovery. I apply what I have learned here at Harmony Grove Recovery and know I wouldn't be where I am at today if it wasn't for the amazing staff and my therapist. Fantastic experience: This is hands down the best drug rehab in San Diego. You start out with their residential inpatient program and graduate to their outpatient drug rehab. They treat the ceo-occurring disorders and teach relapse prevention skills. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Harmony Grove was better than I could've imagined, especially for my first time trying treatment. I'm 25 years old from Los Angeles, and made life long friends there of different ages. The staff made me feel extremely comfortable since day 1. Nora was (and still is) super responsive if I had any questions, comments or concerns. My family visited me a bunch, but I honestly felt like I had a family at Harmony Grove by the end of Week 1. The counselors, nurse practitioners, therapists, and house manager are very intelligent and highly skilled at what they do. They treat clients like adults (phones allowed) , they give us our space (love the private rooms), and don't force us to do anything we aren't comfortable with - but I always felt comfortable going to them about anything. Jacob and Nancy are awesome. So is Tracy and Tari (our therapists). I just felt really safe and laughed more than I have in months. I finished inpatient a few days ago after being there for 5 1/2 weeks. I received a lot education about substance abuse and mental health that was crucial for my sobriety. I learned a lot about myself too. I really liked our daily schedule because it was the perfect amount of activities and free time. I gained life skills like mindfulness and having structure for a daily routine. I hope to continue my new healthy habits and grateful for this experience. Thanks Harmony!

Fantastic experience: It was my first time going to a treatment center and I was really nervous, sad, and afraid. Nora, the owner, was the kindest soul who assured me I was going to heal. She also gave my husband words of encouragement to help make this transition as easy as possible for our family. There is a detailed schedule posted each morning which helps build your abilities to create structure back into your life. During any down times, you are free to use the beautiful gym equipped with a treadmill, exercise bike, multiple ellipticals, weight machines, etc. The backyard of the house is really relaxing and has areas with great sun exposure. I learned to love the sunshine again! I was lucky enough to enjoy healthy meals, fresh fruit and veggies, which also makes you recover. The therapist team was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and caring. We received group therapy sessions, as well as individual sessions. If needed, Nora would listen to your progress and attempt to add more sessions for you during any difficult days or hard feelings you’re experiencing during your recovery journey. Based on your individual treatment plan, you receive weekly or biweekly check ins with the doctor, evaluating your progress and making any necessary adjustments. Your first few days there, you are closely monitored by the EMT. He’s really great. As a group, each morning, and each evening, the clients would collectively lead a self daily reflection session and a coping skills session. This allows you to open up not only to yourself, but to your peers if you wish. Honestly this was the first time I really journaled in quite some time and it really is good for the soul. We had yoga twice a week with the BEST instructor. She was not only a great yoga teacher, but just the kindest and coolest person. The bedrooms are one person rooms, some with your own bathroom, community laundry room, tv area, multiple sitting areas indoor and outdoor. The best part about Harmony Grove I would say is that the owner, Nora, is always there to help you if needed. She truly cares. She even brings the house fresh veggies from her garden. Struggling with addiction is really hard.. I left a better person, inside and out, and I can’t thank Harmony Grove enough for giving me a second chance.

Fantastic experience: Harmony Grove is a beautiful and serene facility. Clients have individual bedrooms and luxury amenities that are not found at many facilities. I have been working here since we have opened and it never fails to amaze me the level of individualized care for each client. The program director Nora truly cares for each client and the therapy team truly love what they do.
