Vista Physical Therapy & Rehab

Fantastic experience: Dr. Heller really saved me a few times . I work construction and beat myself up pretty good at times and they fix me up . I had a chronic shoulder issue that is no longer a problem for me after their help. I’m also a veteran and have never been treated poorly in any way there. The veteran who gave the one star review gives one star reviews to nearly every place he reviews (check his acct) . Anyway . That’s my two cents . I’ll let you make up your own mind .

Negative experience: I have contacted them more than a month ago through the contact form on their website and I've never heard back.

Negative experience: also had a problem like the veteran below - but different. First lady Christy or Sherry said I'd love it there. But their billing department did not call me back. I called and spoke with Brandy who said I have "used up my PT visits with Medicare." That is crazy because I have called Medicare several times and they did away with the cap in Dec. 2022. I just had UCSD surgery (TWO cervical spine surgeries in one month!) so I'm sure Medicare wouldn't deny me! In addition I have ChampVA insurance! So IF perchance Medicare denied it would roll over to VA's champVA. I think they just don't want to be bothered with the billing. They lied and said they called me back which I don't believe. I have tried to come here every few years when I've had different insurances. I don't think they want to serve the community - I believe they just want to serve themselves and their own interests. I am a business owner so I can understand. But I am angry that they lie to achieve their means. I used to be friends with Maureen, the woman who started the company, so it is doubly hurtful. They didn't want to see me when I had Medical, they didn't want to see me when I had champVA and they don't want to see me under Medicare plus the other two. UCSD sent my referral to them AGAIN, so I called to figure out if maybe they changed their mind. I guess not. Oh, and I came from another PT place who wanted me to sign an ABN - which they didn't know how to legitimately deal with so I wouldn't sign MJ Physical Therapys ABN given to me after the time and without a scope, so I did not like it that these two companies spoke about me behind my back. Gossip - unprofessional.. Funny thing - they both think I used up my cap - DIFFERENT amounts too - showing they did not know what they were talking about. I even offered to do a conference call with Medicare with Christy this morning. Nope. They'd have none of that because they would get caught in their lying B.S. Thank you but no thank you.

Fantastic experience: Had a massage today. Vanessa did an awesome job! The massage table is heated which was nice because it's cold out today!

I felt that my rehab program after total knee replacement was well paced and on track with my progress. Not that I ever look forward to being injured again but, if ever I am, I definitely know where to go!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful services and got me back on track. I made an appointment for shoulder pain that was caused by overuse and with a couple of treatments by the team my shoulder was back to normal and pain free. I highly recommend this group for physical therapy and rehab.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Vista Physical Therapy and Rehad. They have everything you need under one roof to get your body feeling better. It is an amazing group of individuals that truly care about your health and well being. It is so convenint to be able to get PT, massage and chiropractic all in one location. Appointment scheduling is easy and on time. If your body is hurting you have to schedule an appointment and start the process to recovery.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Vista Physical Therapy and Rehab since my motorcycle accident. The staff is exemplary and I highly recommend!

Negative experience: BEWARE! This place Discriminates against Disabled Veterans! I received care here through the VA. The owner of the clinic made slanderous claims against me to the VA representative on a recorded line. I had merged the calls when the clinic owner, Jacob Barrack, stated that I had made claims against the clinic to the VA. I have never done this! I then merged the call with the VA representative who was on my other line and asked the clinic owner for any documentation the VA had sent him about this, since I had not made any claims against the clinic. The VA rep chimes in and that’s when the tone changes, now the clinic is making slander/liable claims against ME! Again this is the first I have heard of any of this nonsense. All of it unsustainated and backhanded. At the same time I was receiving care through a chiropractic office in the same clinic, being seen by Dr. Craig Heller of Vista Chiropractic. The Wellness Clinic ensured that I could not continue my services with Dr. Heller. I have not been contacted by Dr. Heller. Does he even know the Physical Therapy Clinic canceled my services? Bottom Line: This establishment is hostile to veterans.

Fantastic experience: I just finished my therapy...WOW!! My shoulder pain is gone and the lingering bi-cep muscle and tendons pain ..IMPROVED I would say 85%...Jacob and his team really know their stuff! Caitlin has "magical" hands!! Thank you so much for your Fantastic Care!!

Fantastic experience: I love this place!!! The staff up front are warm, welcoming, and very down to earth. The entire therapy staff is very competent, compassionate, and always seem to have a new method and/or approach to my recovery and make it priority number one to get me back to form. The therapists listen to you about what's working and what's not and makes you a huge part of your own recovery plan. The energy there is always great from both patients and staff! I just show up and leave happy!!! Thank you guys for all you do!!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place :) The staff is so helpful, knowledgeable and upbeat! Sean and Jake have surrounded themselves with such a great team and Anna is awesome. May sound crazy but after a wrist and knee surgery I look forward to going to every session! I 100% recommend Vista PT and rehab for anyone for any kind of body work!!!

Fantastic experience: This place is great! They take care of you to the fullest and have a wonderful environment. Can't recommend this place enough. I am going there for tendinitis in my elbows and Dr. Mandell and the rest of the staff have been terrific since my first visit. I know what it's like to live in pain and it stinks! Their only goal is to get you healthy, pain free and enjoying life again.

Fantastic experience: I visited Vista Physical Therapy to recover from total hip replacement. They did a great job of making me feel comfortable, easing my pain, and understanding my goals during the early days after the operation. Sean then designed a rehabilitation program that got me back on my feet quickly. I am now 3 months removed from the surgery and thankful that I had a dedicated team helping me recover. The entire staff is super friendly as well!

Fantastic experience: Thumbs up. Staff are knowledgable and helpful. Kind of unique because they have physical therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and massage therapists all working together. They can offer what you really need vs other places that only offer what they have. Fees are moderate. Front staff are on the ball - all fees are listed in writing and they will help you utilize your insurance benefits, submit the claims and all that stuff. All around, it's a well run place.

Fantastic experience: All I can say is if it weren't for the physical therapists and all the staff here, there is no way that I would be as far along in my recovery. I have had rotator cuff surgery, lumbar spine surgery, and cervical spine surgery. I push myself and the therapists encourage you. They don't talk down to you. Jacob and Sean are such great physical therapists but they are also such great caring guys. I would recommend Vista Physical Therapy and Wellness Center to anyone.

Fantastic experience: These guys are miracle workers! After not knowing where to turn to after injuring my back. After trips to a doctor, a chiropractor in San Marcos, the emergency room, then yet another doctor, that second doctor suggested I go to a Physical Therapy place. I’ve never needed treatment like this before so I did an online search for reviews (like you are now reading mine) and with all the great comments I tried Vista Physical Therapy and I can express how appreciative I am of not only Sean but all this support staff. The thing is I was so bad I couldn’t drive, I could barely walk even with a walker, the injury was that bad. After my second visit I had the walker put away and used just a cane for support…two more visits and the cane was done. 4 visits over 2 weeks and I was back walking AND driving (Uber was getting expensive). Now 6 visits in and I’m so relieved. Relieved also that this was fixable at all, I was so bad I didn’t think this would work as I thought surgery was going to be necessary, but I thought wrong. I figured I would be out of commission for a couple months, nope just a few weeks...thanks guys!! Everyone here is super nice and helpful, lots of work out equipment and fancy doodads and electronic stuff, everything here is great and they’re at a great location off Main in Vista and Rally’s Burgers right next door :)

Fantastic experience: Love these guys! Every time I visit for physical therapy on my knee, they really invest time in making sure I'm healing the best possible way. I don't feel like a number like some of the other places I've been to. Sean's knowledge and expertise gives me peace of mind and reassures me that I'm on my way to full recovery. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend them to anyone. Trust me, I'm very selective.

Fantastic experience: Great therapists...Made a believer out of me. After previous failed therapy sessions ( with another group), I was very reluctant to ever try therapy again. However, the acute pain in my neck, arm and shoulder forced me to give it one last try. I was referred to Vista Therapy & Rehab...What a difference, their knowledge and treatment of my condition was spot on, and I am pain free. First time in 6 months! Highly recommend them...
