After an injury or surgery, Palomar Health Outpatient Rehabilitation Services can help you get back to your normal life quickly. The Cardiac Rehabilitation Services program provides personalized evaluations, monitored physical activity, education on risk factors, and support. The Inpatient Rehabilitation Services team works together to provide comprehensive, coordinated, and quality assessments and treatments. The Villas at Poway Skilled Nursing Facility offers secure and comfortable stays with a variety of services. Speech-Language Pathologists offer treatment and care for communication and swallowing difficulties. The First Steps Home Visiting program provides a continuum of care for post-acute and long-term needs such as rehabilitation, wound care, and pain management.
Our team of professionals from different disciplines work together to help the patient reach their maximum potential, with family members playing a vital role in the process.

Negative experience: I'm sure they're all very busy. Good luck reaching a person to schedule an appointment. I've called 5 times now in the last couple days, and got nothing but voicemail. I did get a call back and voicemail from someone telling me to try again...about 6 hours after my call, when I was busy not waiting by the phone for my medical provider to call me back. Sorry Palomar Health Rehab. Your customers/patients deserve better. Perhaps you should hire someone to tend to the phones if you are too busy to answer them.
Negative experience: I have been very dissatisfied with Escondido OT. I have been trying to schedule an appointment for weeks and they keep sending me on a phone loop- every representative gives me different information.
Negative experience: These guys have a huge grassy area of probably several acres on the property that is literally used for nothing. NOT A THING. Nothing. Every now and then people let their dogs stretch their legs. There are zero places in San marcos to do that. And they now refuse to let anyone on the grass. Not very good for keeping up community relationship.
Fantastic experience: The entire staff here is amazing, responsive and helpful! I was absolutely shocked at how much help and quick responses I got from the admin when I called, Sylvia! She followed up with my voicemail within 20 minutes and was helpful in making sure my insurance was taken and the referral was accurate. It was so difficult at every turn, trying to find a physical therapist who took medical and she made this process a breeze. I was elated and still am!! Thank you Sylvia, for making my life so much easier, your kindness goes a long way. My therapist is also amazing and helpful in my recovery process! Alex made sure I understood my exercises because scheduling my next visit might take a while and I very much appreciate that. I’m just very happy to have found such a helpful office! It’s a leading example for all healthcare offices.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is great, I have been going for months after two car accidents and they have put me back together again.
Negative experience: Walked in at 4:25 pm, no one at the front desk. Yadira sluggishly "greats" me while swallowing bits of food. I show her my pre-employment drug screening paperwork and she informs me they are not perform screenings anymore for the day. When I asked what time they stopped performing the screening she looked at me blankely. I responded with "let me guess, you stopped at 4:30?" She said "yes, because there's a few forms to fill out and we have to send it out. You have until x date, you can just come back another day" It was 4:31! I'd already been waiting a few minutes for someone to come to the front desk. So now I have the challenge of coming back another day AFTER work, where I do my actual job until the very last minute, so that I can get someone to do THEIR job at palomar health!

Fantastic experience: Palomar Rehab has helped immensely with my foot/arch/ankle problems. I have a bone spur, torn cartilage and plantar fasciitus, and Ashley and Lindsay have done a great job. I may have bought some years before I need to have surgery. I would definitely recommend both of them.
