I have been a customer of Therapeutic Associates for two years now, and I can testify to their exceptional quality. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, patient and friendly. I strongly recommend their services.

My experience with the staff at Therapeutic Associates has been outstanding. If you are looking for a friendly, professional, knowledgeable and experienced physical therapist, you should consider Bradley Schwin and his team of amazing physical therapists and other support personnel. You will be treated with respect, kindness, and all the expertise and experience needed to get you back in shape. It all starts with Bradley, and you will be provided with a personalized physical therapy program that is right for you. You should give this place a try -- you won't regret it! I did!

I strongly recommend West Eugene Physical Therapy. This past year has been difficult for me due to various injuries and surgeries. The staff are knowledgeable, educated, and committed to helping me heal. They take the time to make sure I understand the plan of action - including exercises to do at home. I'm confident that I'm in good hands and I'm grateful for their support and encouragement! A big thank you to Brad, Ryan, Jackie, and all the other people at West Eugene Physical Therapy!

Charlie Anderson is a passionate enthusiast of the outdoors, taking full advantage of all the activities and experiences Central Oregon has to offer. Unfortunately, he had a ski day ruined when a tree caused a knee injury, but with the help of Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy – Athletic Club of Bend, he was able to avoid surgery and was able to get back on the slopes before the winter ended.

Karen Garcia had been suffering from chronic hip pain and discomfort in her pelvic floor for a long time. She then decided to take action and embark on a physical therapy journey that would transform her life. To her amazement, she discovered that her two issues were actually linked. She hopes that by sharing her story, other women will have the same realization that she did.

Savannah Lash had almost lost hope of obtaining the prestigious platinum award in a dance competition as her flexibility decreased and her pain increased. However, thanks to physical therapy, the high school athlete was able to get the help she needed to reach her goals.

Jason, an ultramarathon runner and race director, found it difficult to accept the news. However, he was encouraged by the fact that he had the support of the Therapeutic Associates Pasco Physical Therapy team to help him in his recovery. He decided to take on this challenge and make it to the next finish line.

Negative experience: I just had all my appointments canceled due to their "late-cancellation policy". For context I had missed only a single prior appointment. I called on Monday to reschedule an appointment on Tuesday due to conflicting times. THAT apparently counted as a "late cancellation". Then on the day that I rescheduled to 8/28/24, I got an appointment notification for another appointment that conflicted. I tried to call and let them know, but instead I was told that I violated their their missed and late cancellation policy and they would be discharging my case. So in other words, if you have nothing to do? These guys are fine. But if you have a life just don't bother, they are unwilling to accommodate.

Negative experience: I was referred to TAI West Eugene for an injury, and they were booked out for a month or so, so I booked really far in advance to get in. I ended up getting in somewhere else, and have been doing PT there with great results. For the last month or just over, I have attempted to call TAI West Eugene multiple times to advise them of this, but every time I would call, the automated phone system would say there is an error regardless of what option I selected. The phone application that they use does not allow you to cancel your own appointments without calling them. So after missing a call from this clinic and being unable to call back a few times, I finally caught a call from them suspecting they would call around the time my appointment would have been which I was correct. I started trying to explain to them that there is something potentially wrong with their phone line, and I was cut off by them saying "Well we've been getting calls all the time here so that's not happening" in a fairly condescending tone, which I assume they thought I was about to make an excuse for missing my appointment. I let them know well it definitely is, because I've been trying to contact them for a month now to let them know I don't need these appointments at all, I just wanted to follow through to let them know so that they could look into it further in case it is interfering with other patients care that DO still need to be seen there. Their attitude shifted back to polite once they realized I wasn't trying to make an excuse, and they thanked me for letting them know about this. I do understand that your clinic likely has a tight schedule to run, and I would hope on the first time of meeting or talking to a person, you would have compassion, actively listen to them, don't immediately discount their feedback and presume that they are just automatically disrespectful. I hope your phone system is an easy fix.

Negative experience: Broke my femur Jan 14th. Went to Slocums for follow up appointment, was given what I was told by Slocums an authorization or whatever it's called for getting physical therapy, with a list of local physical therapy locations. I decided to google which was the highest rated as the list was long. So I chose this place because it had 5 stars. Called them, they asked a lot of questions, then when they were finished asking questions, they told me the paper Slocums gave me that said "Therapy Orders", signed by the doctor who performed the surgery, was not any kind of "authorization" for treatment. They then told me I had to contact Slocums, who had to then contact the VA, who then had to contact Therapeutic Associates with "authorization" to get therapy. I contacted the VA directly after hanging up with this company. The VA then told me they don't know why the therapy place needs a separate authorization from what Slocums gave them. So the VA gave me the authorization number for the physical therapy and said they would fax it to Therapeutic Associates who gave me their fax number. I called back Therapeutic Associates who said the authorization number they received from the VA is not correct and that it is for Slocums to treat me not them. I called the VA back who said they will look into it and get back with me within a week. Therapeutic Associates called me back and told me I was right the whole time and that the authorization number I gave them was correct and would I like to schedule a appointment, so I said sure. They then proceeded to tell me the soonest appointment they have available would be a month from now. That was the last straw. Slocums says they have no idea why this is happening, this company should know exactly how this works, the VA, Slocums, and Therapeutic Associates, all work together on a regular basis, and this is nothing new, quite the contrary, it's old hat. How these people got 5 stars escapes me. Thanks to your stellar efficiency, I'm going somewhere else, your not the only fish in the sea.

Negative experience: Had a terrible experience with Brad. I would not recommend wasting your time here. Felt like I wasted 8 weeks of my life just for him to tell me at the end of my program that I'm fine. Now I have to seek a second opinion. It was clear to me that he did not take me seriously or just didn't give a damn about me being in pain.

Fantastic experience: I have been unfortunate in needing Physical Therapy multiple times over the years for different injuries but I can say that the Therapeutic Associates at West Eugene PT were some of the most understanding. It is easy to get to, has lots of parking and has a fairly flexible schedule and will always try to make sure you stay with the same person each time so as not to lose progress. They are partnered up next to a gym and If your injury would benefit, they offered in pool services. I did end up leaving their care before the end of my 10 appointments as I have bad hyper mobility and wasn't seeing many results and I felt that I might need more specialized care tailored towards my specific pain and hypermobility.

Negative experience: The doctors are awesome but the front desk staff are horrible. During the biggest time of covid in eugene and the front desk female staff had no mask on and the times she did, she had it down under her chin. If there front staff cares that little about safety I dont think Id like to go back.

Fantastic experience: Jered Nelson is wonderful, as well as his Assistants and the office staff here. I previously had physical therapy for my right shoulder and neck, and had very little relief. Jered is informative and seems like he truly wants to help my issue. The body work is great, and I'm happy not to be doing exercises at the office that I can easily take care of at home (that was my previous experience with pt). I will recommend for sure!

Fantastic experience: I've seen Brad for my hip and now for my shoulder/chest, post breast cancer. The active PT was so helpful, allowing me to have more range of motion after each appointment. The home exercises helped me to progress as well. Overall, I feel the customer service and quality and knowledge of their staff is top-notch. After 11 surgeries for breast cancer, I needed a lot of work and the care and improvement I am getting is amazing. Would recommend for breast cancer patients.

Negative experience: Apparently this place is making my 12 year old son and his 6 year old brother wait outside while their mom has an appointment. I get the COVID 19 problem but that is crazy to make kids stand outside. That is just horrible human service. EVERYBODY SHOULD GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

Negative experience: I have gone to Therapeutic Associates for several workers comp injuries and received excellent service in the past. I always communicated with them well and never received any feedback that there were any issues around my attendance. I recently had 12 sessions that I asked to have with therapeutic associates thru my doctor after knee surgery. Today I received a message on my phone that they would not take me on as a client, because I had a history of missing appointments. This is not true and I will no longer be referring clients as I have in the past to therapeutic associates. I do not approve of the unprofessional communication and unprofessional service. I called in an attempt to rectify the situation and I shared that there must be a mistake. I was told that I was no longer welcome as a client. You have lost a client and a signicant amount of referral business. This is a sad way to treat a client.

Fantastic experience: Both my husband and I have had extensive physical therapy sessions at the Therapeutic Associates in West Eugene over the past 2 years. Our therapists were Brad Schwin and Aspen McHugh. Both were knowledgeable and friendly; the office staff was prompt and courteous. I would highly recommend them to my family, friends and acquaintances who are seeking help with mobility and other musculoskeletal issues.

Fantastic experience: My right quad was going numb when I lay on my back and my right lower back and right leg was tight all the time. Brad did some muscle tests to verify my spine was fine . Numbness was from branch nerve at belt line on top of quad so stopped wearing my tools on my belt. Tightness was from muscle sheath material(forget the term) penetrating all my muscle so he used rototiller instruments to break it up. After about 10 sessions I didn't think there was much improvement so I quit going...after a few months of little or no symptoms it dawned on my I had huge improvement! Thanks Brad.

Positive experience: My experience in therapy at Therapeutic associates was decidedly mixed. The office staff was nice enough but rather distant and impersonal. I had contact with 2 of the therapists. The first one Brad, was also rather distant and impersonal. I went to him about arthritic knee pain and the entire 6 weeks I had appointments he never once even looked at my knees directly. He did all of his assessments by measurements and watching me walk and asking rather generic questions. His only solutions/ suggestions were for me to do in home exercises on my own between visits. My appointments were scheduled as 40 minutes in length and they rarely lasted more then 15 minutes long. They consisted of him showing me a very brief video example of a exercise, telling me how many of that exercise I should do and on a VERY FEW occasions having me do 1 or 2 of the indicated exercise while he observed while repetitively spouting the same platitudes every visit such as "Motion is lotion" Meaning I supposed that movement of my knees in these uncomfortable home exercises would some how help my knee pains. Conversely, the second physical therapist I was very lucky to get to see 2 out of my six visits was a lovely caring lady named Debra. She was friendly, outgoing, and interested in my well being. From the very first moment she showed concern and interest in me. She had me put on shorts and actually inspected my knees, watching me move them and checking the alignment. She also went through the exercises with me to make sure I had them correct and explained some of the reasoning behind a few of them that I didn't understand. Also when I mentioned the swelling and pain in my knees to her she applied a treatment that worked wonders on them. A treatment called gua sha that afterwards made it so much easier to walk with a lot less pain for days afterward. All in all, I wish I had been permitted to see Debra every time I visited.

Fantastic experience: I have been an extremely satisfied patient of Brad Schwin for over 10 years. Each and every time that I have required PT, I have been amazed (but no longer surprised) at how quickly Brad has been able to return me to a healthy comfortable state. His ability to assess my condition and then create an appropriate treatment plan demonstrates his comprehensive understanding of his profession. Additionally, the entire staff at the West 11th office have been so kind and helpful when it comes to scheduling my appointments. They are excellent to work with. I would highly recommend Brad (and I have) to anyone looking to find a highly competent and knowledgeable physical therapist. Mike L

Negative experience: This place is horrible. I came in with a specific recommendation from my PT to try ASTYM. I was scheduled as a new patient for 40minutes. I was told to show up 30 minutes early to do paperwork. I was told to fill out the online forms but that "the online forms probably wouldn't work and I'd have to redo them". Not interested in this blatant waste of my time, I printed my own new patient forms from the website and completed and faxed those and showed up 20minutes early (after asking if that was ok). I was then told these were old forms; I said they're on your website; and they said oh. My previous PT, Cheryl, had gotten my shoulder back to very good mobility from an almost frozen condition and now she recommended ASTYM. The new PT, Emily, evaluated me, and then treated according to "protocol" which ended up being manipulation of my mid-spine which required my shoulder and neck being over my head and compressed in a hold during the manipulation. I was told that ASTYM "might be" used at some point. I was then shooed out of the appointment to make room for "the next client". I left in pain and with a flare-up that lasted 5 days. The next week I called to discuss the situation and ask what it takes to have the other PT's work and recommendation respected (bring in chart notes, doctor note, what?) and to get the treatment I had been referred for and asked for at each step. I was treated poorly so I just cancelled all my appointments and will have to find another therapist. The front desk people didn't bother to have me speak to the clinic manager. They asked me what I wanted to do and offered that I speak to the therapist. I realized she was pretty aggressive and just decided against it since obviously what I said while I was there didn't make any impact.
