Fantastic experience: A great find. The place I usually use for PT had a long wait for the first appointment so I tried Solutions. It is a smaller practice, only 2 PTs, but they provided all the help I needed to get my knee back in shape. Also they have free on-street parking right there.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at Phoenix Physical Therapy. It was relatively easy to work around my sometimes unpredictable schedule and still be seen 1-2 times a week. Both the physical therapist (Katie) as well the the PT student that I worked with were very compassionate, personable, professional, and dedicated to ensuring I made a full recovery. I broke my ankle and was only supposed to have 6-8 weeks of physical therapy, but I ended up attending for about 4 months. Katie was very willing to take my feedback in stride and think outside the box about how to build up my muscles to be able to do the activities I used to do. I always looked forward to my appointments, both as good exercise and as a significant social connection with the therapists, patients, and receptionist. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area

Positive experience: Rocio was very helpful upon check-in. There was a snag with my paperwork and the portal but she figured it out before the end of my appt. I had a good assessment with Elliott. He helped me really understand what the pain is I’m experiencing and trying different movements to develop a plan of care. I look forward to continuing my PT care with Phoenix PT.

Fantastic experience: Therapists and support staff are excellent. I went to the Alexandria Virginia facility. Both Elliot and Katie listen and adjust therapy accordingly. I mostly had Elliot Place. He pays a lot of attention to the doctors recommendations and explains each of the exercises and strategies. Rosie and Tess at the reception desk are very supportive and helpful, including submitting papers to insurance, scheduling, and answering questions. Great job!

Fantastic experience: Such a great team at this location. Ammar and Jim are both great physical therapists and helped me through tendonitis in my shoulder. It was great being able to see either of them and know they shared everything from week to week and there was no disruption to my progress. Tess is also delightful!

Fantastic experience: Ammar at Phoenix Physical Therapy is a great therapist. He is extremely knowledgeable, keenly observant, and positively coaches his patients on how to perform varied and effective routines. Over the course of eight weeks, he helped me rehabilitate my badly sprained ankle to the point where I'm back to hiking, running, and playing tennis and Ultimate frisbee. When I started with Ammar, I told him that I was expecting to still need surgery at the end of therapy. He said he couldn't guarantee that I wouldn't need surgery, but he said that the therapy would put me in a better shape to recover from and benefit from surgery, should I need it. I think that would have been the case, but the results were much better than I expected. I highly recommend Phoenix and Ammar to anyone looking for a physical therapist. And his assistant Tess was a pleasure to work with.

Fantastic experience: Tripped on a loose brick on Old Town. Broke arm. Ouch. Six weeks later went to a high end steak house and had a super meal. Only because I had the range of motion, strength and confidence to grab the knife and cut my own steak. Ammar is gentle and motivating. I look forward to reaching my next goals! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Ammar and Tess are great! I look forward to going to PT 3 days per week to recover from my ACL repair. They are prompt, care about your specific needs, and give you very focused individual care. Ammar pushes me at every session to quicken my recovery and always provides tips for what I can do on my own to continue my progression back to sport. He definitely “nerds out” over what each particular exercise is accomplishing (if you’re interested in hearing) and that’s just what I need to understand how everything works. He’s patient in answering each of your questions and even spends time taking a quick look at other ailments and gives suggestions on them at home. I appreciate that he’s not afraid to correct my form whenever necessary so that i can be the best athlete i can be. Thank you Ammar and Tess for everything! It will be a bittersweet goodbye once i’m fully recovered!

From the very first appointment, Ammar showed great care, attention, and understanding for my injury, as well as a genuine interest in getting me back where I needed to be based on my desired activities. I appreciated the one-on-one attention I received for each appointment, and never felt like I was being told to go off and do stretches on my own. Each session involved something new, and Ammar would regularly check up on our progress, particularly before I had a check-up with the doctor. Furthermore, Ammar was great at answering all the questions I had throughout the PT process. In addition to being a talented practitioner, Ammar is a genuinely good person with a great spirit and sense of humor, and he is always a pleasure to talk to. Fantastic experience: Amar is a phenomenal physical therapist! He rapidly got to the root cause of my back and hip pain (later confirmed by the MRI) and was able to get the pain under control so I was back to all my daily activities including Pilates and horseback riding. He outlined a home routine that really works for me and ensures I understand the physiology of the exercises, what purpose they serve, and how to do the exercises correctly. He gets my highest recommendation!

Dr Jamal listened to my goals and adjusted my workout plan accordingly. He’s got great bedside manner and he’s really funny and cares about his patients. Fantastic experience: Stop your search, this is the physical therapy clinic you need. I've been a client for the past three months and can't begin to express how great the experience has been. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, the clinic is clean, and there's FREE parking (or least I haven't paid anything)! The work they've done on my neck has been challenging, but effective. I would highly recommend this practice.

In an age of healthcare when it seems like doctors want to get you in & out the door as quickly as possible, coming to Phoenix Physical Therapy is like a breath of fresh air. Ammar is caring and attentive and I felt like he was on my team, tackling my symptoms with me. He performed comprehensive assessments and provided me with answers when other doctors couldn't. I worked with Jim for dry needling sessions and he was fastidious in his technique. Tess at the front desk is a joyful presence and always gives a cheerful greeting to patients. Fantastic experience: The Phoenix Rehab team is absolutely incredible. My teenage son broke his collarbone and needed several weeks of physical therapy per a doctor's order. He had a wonderful experience and I appreciated that they were honest about how many sessions he needed, even suggesting that the last session wasn't necessary because he was at full strength. The team took an interest in my son, even asking to be notified when tickets went on sale for the school musical he was cast in.

Fantastic experience: My journey to have my knee replaced by Dr. Melvin started with Phoenix rehab. They came to my home to assess safety. Carlos was great and answered all of my questions. Immediately after surgery I went to PT at Sibley Hospital. As a healthcare professional myself, I can say they were top of the line! As soon as I got home from the hospital Dawn Meekins from Phoenix rehab came to my home and started my physical therapy. She was friendly, well-trained, and extremely knowledgeable. She put me through the ropes and then took me for a long walk. Thanks to Dr. Melvin and Don Meekins I was walking without a cane in three days.
