The VA Northern California Health Care System has adjusted operations to ensure we can continue to deliver the best care to Veterans in the safest way possible. While we always strive to provide a clean environment, we are taking additional measures, such as frequent cleaning of high-touch areas like doorknobs, handrails, countertops and vinyl seating, as well as removing magazines and other paper documents from waiting areas. Rigorous cleaning will continue in inpatient areas. As a reminder, washing your hands with soap and water (for at least 20 seconds) is still the best way to clean your hands. However, if that is not possible, additional hand hygiene stations are located throughout our facilities.
Contact us to schedule, reschedule, or cancel your appointment. If a referral is required, you’ll need to contact your primary care provider first.

Fairfield Outpatient Clinic - VA Northern California Health Care System: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Surprisingly really good for a VA. Had no trouble finding where I needed to be. It’s just one building and not a confusing campus. Staff were professional and very genuine. I look forward to my VA appointments here. Thank you!!
Fantastic experience: Great Service, kindness abounds
Negative experience: There are some, very few but some, really great employees at this va but all the doctors keep leaving and you can't get an appointment for months. The nurses/doctors don't listen when you tell them your health concerns and the only reason I'm even giving them a 2 star is because of the few really awesome staff they have. The services are 1 star at best.
Negative experience: Terrible VA with terrible service, so pointless to have a clinic that doesn't offer much but refers you over an hour away for most services, and the providers are terrible as well and don't care, they have a high turnover rate as well and wonder why veterans hate the va because the quality of service is so bad and wait times as well
Fantastic experience: Lab has fast, courteous service.
Fantastic experience: VA clinic is well organized with excellent service
Negative experience: I just moved into the area and was trying to switch medical locations. The lady on the primary doctor line wasn’t helpful almost as if she wasn’t listening to anything I was asking because she just transferred me to a va phone line in Mather, Ca and they didn’t answer the phone at all. I guess I’ll stick to the San Francisco location because a good VA center is hard to come by…as for emergencies I guess I’ll just figure it out.
Negative experience: Dr. Barlow, Podiatry. Is very unprofessional and uses intimidation when patients ask questions. Poor Communicator
Positive experience: When you first enter for your Covid screening The lady is impolite horrible customer service. No when I went to the clinic I was supposed to go to same thing. Wasn’t even greeted with the hello! how are you today ? Nope! CanI help you nothing just my ID and what are you here for wow! My experience here at DCMG has been horrible! Doctors don’t care staff don’t care. Sad because I have no the other option for Healthcare I have to deal with this as a new patient.
Fantastic experience: Very positive experience at this facility.
Fantastic experience: Nothing but good here
Fantastic experience: I love coming to this VA. Great customer service.
Negative experience: Been calling for two days now. All calls go to a recording. Recording says leave a message and we will get back to you with in 72 hours. Really 72 hours. Now that sure is some customer service.
Negative experience: Some genius put this VA clinic INSIDE the AFB. If you want to get a visitor pass you will need: current vehicle registration, VA ID card, Govt. ID card.
Fantastic experience: Friendly, professional, great service. Not 1 complaint from this Veteran.
Fantastic experience: A+ staff!
Positive experience: It's a friendly place, with helpfully people.
Fantastic experience: Excellent staff and great doctors so far.
Fantastic experience: Awesome place to receive great medical care!! Thanks for taking great care of us military veterans!!!
