Fantastic experience: I just finished 2 months of PT for an inflamed rotator cuff and am way better now. CA Rehab is mainly responsible for my improvement. The therapists have all been professional, knowledgeable and kind. They listen to me and answer my questions. I highly recommend CA Rehab and Sports Therapy to anyone who needs PT.

Positive experience: I went to California Sports after too many tweaks to my left ankle after falling from climbing. I went roughly 12 times over the course of 2 months. They provided a wide range of ankle exercises that tired out my ankles every time, progressing my exercises regularly. My ankles became stronger and the arches more supported over time. When I had stiffness that felt unrelated, they recommended areas I should stretch, and within a couple of weeks they were back to normal. Scheduling started out relatively tough as it took a month before I could schedule my visits after the initial consultation, however after that it was easy making appointments and switching times if required. They’d oftentimes call me to see if I wanted to come in earlier on a Friday. Right after I graduated I tweaked my ankle again, and so that was tough knowing that I worked so hard only to be back where I was. But I didn’t start from zero, I nursed myself back to where I was before based on the exercises that Bhakti and Anusha provided. Settling on a "good" rating because of the scheduling and the fact that I wish they were more tailored to climbing. In addition, there isn’t too much time to speak with your provider, you normally get round robin’d off to an assistant.

Fantastic experience: I am very pleased with the PT I have received for my tibial tendonitis. Bhakti Shah and her team were very professional and thoughtful in trying different exercises to strengthen and rehabilitate my tendon. She listens attentively and experiments with different exercises and techniques in order to determine the best treatment plan. Overall, my experience was very positive and importantly, I have seen strong progress in my recovery path.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had 3 different physical therapist at different times. Everyone is really good here. The only thing is, I think many people would agree with me because it’s not always easy to get appointments. Book several in advance if you can.

Fantastic experience: I received PT at this facility recently. I was assigned to physical therapists’ Bhakt, Candice and Singh. Two assistants Mei-Lani and Nathan (both very pleasant and well trained) would work with me while I performed the tasks I previously learned at my previous visit with the PTs. I have had PT at many other facilities over the years, but, I had the best experiences here. During my first visit, the very thorough ladies at the front desk, inquired whether it mattered which PT I was assigned at each visit. I requested that I be assigned the same PTs for all visits. All three PTs, I felt, were extremely knowledgeable on how to treat my condition. My appointments began within 5 minutes of my arrival. The facility ran like a well oiled machine throughout my sessions. I was very impressed. The assistants, particularly, Mei-Loni and Nathan, knew when to appear for my next phase. If they weren’t available, the other assistants would show up when needed to work with me. The PTs would clearly listen to my needs, explain what I was going to be doing and why. In addition, throughout they provided me with helpful tips to enhance my recovery. Finally, I really appreciated the attention given during my visit. Great focus was given on proper form and whether you were capable of performing the task as presented. They always had alternative methods to accomplish the task at hand. I would not hesitate to return here if needed.

Fantastic experience: This place is the best. I had wrist tendinitis for over a year. I went to another local PT center but they made the pain worse. I came to California Rehab and saw Claudia and Mike. I’m now 100% pain free with full mobility. The level of attention and care between the two facilities was night and day.

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank you entire team. Starting with front office team for their warn welcome . Special thanks to Bhakti and Anusha and their team. It's for my mom and she came to the center with lots of shoulder and arm pain and used regularly 3 thylonal tables to over come the pain. But the patience and technical Bhakti and Anusha and their team has provided is exceptional. My mom is very much happy and her pain is almost 90% reduced and with few more session she will be in much better share. Thanks to entire team once again and I highly recommend the faculty and the staff for the efforts and knowledge.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to CA Rehab for an Achilles tendon issue and have almost completed my therapy. My therapist Khyati has been terrific and has helped me to regain almost all function. I appreciate that she pushes me without being pushy, and is always upbeat about my progress. It's been a very good partnership! My only difficulty was in getting started. I tried for several months with no success and actually had to come into the facility to set up an appointment. However I do understand that, even nationwide, the demand for PT far exceeds the supply. Overall, I highly recommend CA Rehab!

Negative experience: I have called this place multiple times to try to see if they take my insurance if and not what the cost would be to me. Every time I call someone would tell me to call back they don’t know yet the day before my appointment I called and sat on hold for 20 minutes and then finally hung up. The morning of my appointment I get a text to confirm or cancel the number that’s provided Is associated with a mailbox that says it’s full. Tried calling twice before my appointment. So frustrating.

Fantastic experience: After 5 months of PT for my right knee, thanks to Dharna, Bhakti and Anusha, my right knee went from being in pain walking up and down stairs to stronger than my left knee. Thanks so much for this team's help and care in helping me heal my knee so I can run again.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to the patience and positive exercise programing with Physical Therapist Shah Bahakti and PTA Anusha Singh at California Rehabilitation in Castro Valley Village, not only can I now walk without a cane, my limp is going away! I am 82 and broke four metatarsals in my foot and was very stressed about life. Thank you, thank you thank you, to both of theses wonderfully skilled women and also to the entire friendly staff that put me on a healing path.

Fantastic experience: I have been rehabbing from a surgery that corrected a fractured toe. Bhakti and Claudia have been overseeing my care and they have done an amazing job. Fantastic experience: CA Rehab in Castro Valley has been a God-send, providing physical therapy following trauma surgery to repair a severely broken leg. I was referred to them for PT once I was able to get out of the house. I am so grateful to the care team here. Fantastic experience: Bhakti Shah and Anusha Singh were both amazing. I went in with a pinched nerve in my neck which was causing tingling in my face, neck and shoulder. With their hands on and exercise program, they created for me was perfect. After 12 appointments I am almost where I want to be. It’s a work in progress. Fantastic experience: My doctor prescribed physical therapy to help with an osteoarthritic hip and the balance issues that often accompany age. My expectations were relatively low, simply because PT in the past has provided some pain relief but not a long-term solution. The therapy I received at California Rehabilitation and Sports Therapy exceeded my expectations by a very large margin. The sessions and at-home exercises not only provided immediate relief, they also offer a path to continued improvement. And in addition to experiencing improved balance and alleviated hip pain, I find some minor peripheral issues have disappeared. I have been a gym rat for most of my life and even taught aerobics briefly, so I can say with confidence that my therapist, Bakhti Shah, was knowledgeable, professional, skillful, and effective. The facility is extremely well equipped and well maintained. I will not hesitate to return any time I need PT for any reason. 5 stars for sure!

Fantastic experience: Great place with a wonderful and experienced therapist: Michael Koury is great. Even before my MRI he could see I was doing exercises that were aggravating my condition. These exercises had been recommended by my Kaiser therapist whom I thought was good but was working blindly because my Kaiser doctor would not recommend any imaging tests. Now with my MRI and Michael expertise and caring, I am improving.

Negative experience: They were the worst, couldn't get appointments as outlined by my doctor, saying they felt twice a week was okay. My doctor specifically wanted me to have. pt 3 times a week.

Positive experience: UPDATE: Much improved service. New employees and better organization. This is my second round here. PT staff are good, but scheduling is a nightmare. I had 6 weeks scheduled, but my progress has been slow due to other issues besides my hip replacement surgery. I need more visits in April and they cannot even find a way to accommodate a current patient. Need better logistics and scheduling staff to deal with this. What am I supposed to do, find another place for like the last 4 visits? Idiotic. I am now downgrading to one star. I emailed yesterday after the owner response to contact for resolution, but got no response. What I expected.

Fantastic experience: To whom this may concern: So this facility, has gone through @ least four [name changes] different titles, and I've gone through @ least three of them. This place is conviently located close to our house. The staff has always been accommodating, with scheduling, rescheduling, + not to mention, they'll call [when possible] for earlier times. Dennis is my current, therapist, he's been there a few days. And has been extremely helpful, in my rehab. I had [a second] total ankle replacement, and Pryor replacement, the therapy, treatment was terrible compared to what [Dennis] I went through. Continued success with this company.

Fantastic experience: California Rehabilitation and Sports Therapy in Castro Valley is a great place to go for your Sports Therapy. My therapists Amish’s Singh PTA and Dennis Ingram PT are just awesome, they are among a whole group of professionals that are there for your needs. They have helped me with my Torn Meniscus that was injured, I didn’t want surgery so I elected to have therapy and glad I did. I forgot to mention that the office staff is great all so helpful. Negative experience: RPT Dennis Ingram provides outstanding services as always. The front desk services are to my mind deficient in the following.1) The male attendants are not taking temperatures routinely it appears and sometimes the front desk is unmanned 2) Good screening protocols are not being routinely followed or in place prior to patients entering the service area it appears to me. This is a serious deficiency and most health care offices are far more advanced in doing so it is my experience. A few patients may be offended or inconvenienced by these protocols but the risks of infection have never been greater countrywide than at present.

She is very knowledgeable and reassures me throughout each session. They also use electrode therapy which is amazing! I highly recommend this helpful, kind and very effective treatments!
