Fantastic experience: On March 27th 2013 I sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI) at work. I simply slipped on the ice and hit my head and had a concussion. The doctor at Occupational Health at that time had very little experience or knowledge of TBI’s. Thank goodness he sent me to Progressive Therapy Associates. My speech pathologists were amazing. They were patient, understanding and taught me how to live again. Not just live but adjust to my new normal and teach me self care. They also took care of insurance side of things. They are not only highly skilled professionals. They are open, honest, warm, caring, and dedicated to patient care. Fantastic experience: My husband essentially lost all communication skills as the result of a stroke 3 years ago. We were referred to Janet at Progressive Therapy Associates while at in-patient rehab and have been seeing her and Matthew there ever since. With the support, guidance, teaching, and all-around care from the therapists at Progressive Therapy, Daron has made great strides with his communication and fight against severe apraxia and aphasia. The team at Progressive Therapy has been great to work on communication from all angles and has provided a truly personalized program. They care about their clients and give beyond the hour-long therapy sessions. There has been texts and calls throughout the day to help with phone use, post-it reminders and encouragement of limb use, and cheering on every win – whether that is with communication, graduating PT, or getting a driver’s license back. What we note as speech therapy on the calendar has been that and boat loads more! The team at Progressive Therapy Associates has helped Daron so much with his communication and beyond. We are forever grateful for the referral we received and would refer others in need of their services over and over again.

Walking in, you're greeted by the lovely Shari who will always bless you with a warm smile or conversation. Throughout my therapy at Progressive for ADHD as an adult, I was lucky to have Amber as my therapist! As cliche as it sounds, executive functioning therapy, was and is one of the best decisions I've ever stepped into. Amber tuned in on what my whirlwind mind was struggling with internally, the frustration that comes with the diagnosis. Planted the seed of confidence and strengthened my trust muscle. We worked on different tools and strategies that formed to my lifestyle which helped me develop better communication skills, goal setting, planning and loaded my plate with an abundance of support. "Graduating" from therapy was one of the biggest milestones that I can recall for it really jump started to living my life with more ease. Knowing that others struggle with the same thing and we are all working through the motions of life. Makes it easier when you can do it with guidance and support. Fantastic experience: After 2 years of barely functioning and barely getting through the days, I was diagnosed with a condition that affects the function of part of my brain. I was referred to Progressive Therapy Associates. From the very beginning, I was treated as an individual, a person, not just another client or just another number. From day one, my therapist cared about what was important to me, rather than any sort of textbook goals. The relationship has been one of collaboration. And it could not be more evident that my therapist is invested in me and my progress. There is a whole lot of caring and compassion at Progressive Therapy Associates. With time and with her guidance and therapy, I have found myself in a place I never thought I would be again. I am functioning and I am living life again. I still have goals. I still have areas I want to work on. But now, because of Progressive Therapy Associates, I also have hope back again. Perhaps needless to say at this point, but I could not recommend them more highly.

Fantastic experience: We found Progressive Therapy Associates after my husband fell on the ice, receiving a severe concussion / traumatic brain injury. We noticed his cognitive skills declining, affecting his ability to perform tasks, like following a recipe, that he was proficient at prior to the injury. He had tried numerous other providers and it felt like nothing was helping. He started seeing Janet Grove at Progressive and finally felt like he was being heard. She immediately understood every symptom he was experiencing, and guided him through strategies to help him regain control of his day to day tasks. We are beyond grateful to Janet and Progressive Therapy Associates for helping us make sense of all of the terrifying things Jeff was experiencing. I cannot recommend them enough!!

Fantastic experience: I have MS and I have struggled with fatigue both mentally and physically, cognitive difficulties as word finding, memory, staying on task, and most of all less stress with daily organization. I have worked with Janet for over 6 years and her knowledge and resources has helped me stay on task, find words easier when communicating, have energy at the end of the day. I am co-owner of several businesses with my husband and MS symptoms made me feel less than. With Janet's help, I am no longer that person, she has helped me gain my confidence back! It has not been easy. I have worked hard and continue to use all the resources I've been given. If it wasn't for Progressive Therapy I truly believe I would have retired years ago. Fantastic experience: Janet Grove and the staff at Progressive Therapies are EXCELLENT. I credit Janet for helping save my life, post stroke. I truly can not say enough good things about them. Fantastic experience: ADHD- they will change your life in ways you don’t know are possible. They will show up for you with their A game and provide you the tools and support to function & meet your goals. I was referred here when I was at my lowest. I had no hope. I told myself if they could teach me just 1 trick to improve my adhd I would be satisfied beyond measure and could hang on. What I was not expecting is the 360 they did on my life. I was educated, at my pace. I was respected and treated with compassion from Sheri to my provider Brynna. I still have a ways to go but i cannot emphasize enough the impact made on my life. I was educated on my ADHD. My sessions are catered to my specific needs. I learned things I had no idea were a thing and why I was the way I was. I’m a better mother, daughter, friend, employee. My life no longer feels helpless. I can be successful, productive. I can do hard things. I can climb the wall of awful. I am no longer haunted on things I had a block for to do before. I cry everytime I leave a session- happy tears because it’s the first time I’ve ever felt seen & understood in my life and I’m 29. They care, they truly understand the disorder and how to help you. They are top notch, compassionate, dedicated and they will help you and cater to your specific needs to get you to your goals. My quality of life now is something that seemed like a far away, unreachable dream 6 months ago. I can’t wait to see where they can get me in another 6 months. I have so much respect, trust and gratitude for progressive therapy associates. God bless you beautiful humans!!!! I will forever be grateful to Brynna and even tho I have a ways to go- I know for the rest of my life I will reflect on my successes and credit this beautiful soul.

Fantastic experience: I walked into their office with but one simple wish, to be able to live & be productive again. There were specific words that I envisioned that Progressive could mean for me; Growing, developing, intensifying, accelerating & Escalating to name a few. I was in serious need of a teacher, tutor, coach & mentor. I got this and more, they pulled back the reins when I did too much & even stood by & watched me overdo it and said I told you so. I pushed the envelope, tested their patience & I wanted to know everything there is to know about how I can keep improving & healing. Slow & steady wins the race means I can still be a part of society & be productive & I owe all of that to Progressive. They got me back in the race and watched me walk across the finish line on my own.
