Pivot PT - Hope Mills

Negative experience: I chose this office due to the hours of availability listed only to be told those hours are incorrect due to losing so many therapist. This is after I had to call and have them run my referral because they have do not have a person to check referrals. Glad this didn’t work out.

Negative experience: My PT was extremely nice (Valerie). However the rest of the staff (besides the receptionist at the front) blatantly made racial comments as if I wasn’t in the same room or could hear them. Staff does not make you feel welcomed or comfortable at all, besides the physical therapist that was working with me.

Fantastic experience: The staff at this location have really helped me reduce my physical pain but also have improved my confidence. I am able to do yoga again and my chronic pain is now just mild discomfort.

It was also obvious staff interacts well with each other, which makes for a pleasant work environment for them and for the patient. I would highly recommend this facility to any family/friends. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Pivot PT at Hope Mills for the past year for different conditions, and I would not go anywhere else. The therapists and staff always greet everyone with a smile and a positive attitude. They get to know every part of your treatment and capabilities and limitations. Big shout-out to Crystal, Chantsen, and Ashley. You guys are awesome!

Negative experience: This place is terrible, they will charge you for anything, one time I had to call my wife’s appointment off and I know I’ve should have done it the day prior of the appointment. We paid the $25 that they charge for missing appointments. On another time I was trying to reschedule my wife’s appointment but they told me that they couldn’t do it because the referral was expiring on that day. I was charge another $25 because of that as well. Three months after that treatment my wife had to come back again and there is a new clerk. This lady did not have no people’s skills telling to go to my car and she was mean and disrespectful. I left and had to come back to help translate for my wife and she wasn’t even trying to engage into a normal conversation, she told me that was not the patient and she did not want anything to do with me although I was assisting my wife. I wasn’t trying to show off or anything but this lady got me quite upset and I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. Just sorry people thinking they are doing “us” a favor when all they have to do is what they get paid to do that is all the I’m saying, just a bit of respect to the customers.

Positive experience: I thought the people were very friendly but it didn’t seem as organized as I hoped it would be. I saw a real improvement in my strength but my major problem was never addressed. I had hoped that I would be able to get up from the floor so I could get on the floor with my grandkids. I haven’t tried to yet so maybe I’m just afraid.

Fantastic experience: I recently started going here and think this place is great. Very clean and professional. They help adults as children for therapy. Front staff person Krystal is professional friendly and explains what you need to do with your paperwork and insurance including your copays. My PT Sarah is amazing and trains students from area colleges. Her student, Elizabeth helped in my therapy and was great at showing the exercise positions. They all work together to help you with your at home exercises as well with an accessible website for you to watch also at home as you practice. They have a lot of trainers/ PT assistants here and you will feel at ease coming here for therapy.

Fantastic experience: Tomorrow, 10/3/2022 will be my 7th week of physical therapy at Pivot PT - Hope Mills. I go two days per week for my shoulder and two days per week for my lower back (Lumbar) My experience with the Physical Therapist and Staff, has been nothing but Caring, Compassionate, Dedicated, Educated, Excellence, Helpful, Kindness, Patient, and Professional. I am so Glad and Thankful that I filled out all the paperwork at my first appointment, for my initial evaluation, to begin my Plan of Care. I feel that by going to Pivot PT - Hope Mills, that is has been the BEST thing I could have ever done!! It has been Life Changing for me and as my Physical Therapist, Sarah, said to me last week, "See, you are Getting Better!" So, I give Pivot PT - Hope Mills a 10 STAR!!!

Fantastic experience: Everyone I've interacted with at this place has been incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I was a little loopy on pain meds and they still put up with me and put in a ton of effort. I hope I never have to go back again, but if I need PT again, I'll definitely go there.

Fantastic experience: Had my first appointment today. I have a lot of health problems beyond what I am doing PT for and the person doing my first visit was WONDERFUL!!! So very patient and friendly. After the initial questions and such, she started working with me and was very much in touch with how I was feeling and my pain. I looked around the room as I was doing the activities to familiarize with the place, and as I made eye contact with another physical therapist ,she smiled and gave me a thumbs up as if to say "Good job" ! It was just very positive and so much better than I expected! Highly reccomended!!!

Fantastic experience: Spent almost 4 months in rehab after ACL and Meniscus surgery. The whole team is great. It was a welcoming environment with friendly competent staff. The who office worked together in unity while demonstrating great care and concern for patients. This review is really more broad than just my experience, due to the layout of the facility I was able to observe other patients of all ages getting the same level of care that I received. Pros: the playlists Chantsen and his crew select is top notch! Cons: I rang the bell and finished my therapy sessions.

Fantastic experience: Got my daughter's ankle back to where she needed to be. Ortho doc said she was 100% and her xray looked beautiful after her broken ankle. She is now able to jump, skip, hop and jump on the trampoline again!!!! Thanks guys!!!!!! Good Luck Sarah!!!!!

Fantastic experience: The staff was so professional and eager to answer all my questions. They listened to my complaints and designed my physical therapy accordingly. I made a lot of progress here after my back surgery and managed to meet all the goals I had set for myself. Everyone was cheerful and helpful at all times. Fantastic experience: The staff of Pivot physical therapy of Hope Mills are Heaven sent....from my initial walk in to the waiting area..I was met with a soft voice who said hello and identified herself as Kate..and she was kind and so helpful from paperwork to setting an appointment schedule...I was met by a young man name..Rich Chantsen...and he took me through an evaluation, that was on spot and gentle at the same time ,He explained his plan of therapy and all aspects involved...I was met by Ashley who is proof there are Angels amoung us on Earth...she led me through therapy...and explained each step ..always making sure I was comfortable . I also have meet Sarah who I have not worked with but just hearing her explanations to her people as she works with them..is heart felt and done with care...I have gone from crutches to a cain with no pain and getting along better with each visit..if you need or know anyone who needs physical therapy...please contact Pivot Physical Therapy of Hope Mills on Leigion rd..Thank you to all the staff for all the hello`s and see you soon have a great day that is said to everyone....Joe Byrd. Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Pivot Physical therapy on Legion Rd. The entire staff is Nice. My strength and endurance was lacking. I am much better and stronger now. They work with you and treat you as an individual. They plan your treatment specific for you to obtain your needs and goals. Chantsen, Ashley, Sarah, Kate and Hunter are all awesome people. Therapy is challenging , however, this team make it fun and successful. 10s and stars all around!!!

Fantastic experience: Had full knee replacement my physical therapy was great , the therapist was excellent true professional. Each day I had therapy it was work no play . We worked hard but in the end I was able to complete my therapy in least time required for my surgery. My hat is off to the staff ur motivation inspiration gave me the will and positive to meet and exceed my goal. Thank u chase.

Fantastic experience: I started physical therapy here after having shoulder surgery in May. Twelve weeks post-surgery I regained full range of motion, and as of today I have strengthened my shoulder to the point where I am back to full strength and have been discharged! The staff at this facility are among the most friendly, hardworking, thoughtful, and utmost professional physical therapists I have ever worked with. I have never had a bad day there, and I have always left in a great mood. I was always glad to walk in and be greeted with a smile. I had the opportunity to work with Chantsen, Ashley, and Alicia (who sadly does not work here anymore), and I have nothing but positive thoughts to all of them. I wish them all the best, and I admit I am a bit sad that our time has come to an end, but I couldn't have wished for a better team to have helped me recover from surgery. I recommend Pivot to anyone in need of great physical therapy care.

Fantastic experience: After suffering over 20 years with back pain, I had my 4th surgery Nov 2018. In Feb 2019, I was referred to Pivot Physical Therapy. I was leery about doing PT as another therapy place I went to years ago made me do things that was causing me pain so I stopped going there. My therapist was Chantsen Rich and I can't honestly say he was the best! He helped me from 3 months posts post op to almost 6 months post op. He listened when I told him things were causing me pain, he listened when I told him I was sore from the previous visits, but he always made sure it was muscle soreness and not physical pain. He worked with me twice a week and never once he forgot to ask me my pain level and if my pain was up, he would as my activities that caused the level of pain to rise. I am happy that I was referred to Pivot Physical Therapy and also happy there is a location near my home. Thank you Chantsen Rich for helping me get my life back! Many thanks to everyone at the Hope Mills location for your kindness!

Fantastic experience: Pivot is the best. I have had therapy several times for different problems and all were good but the staff at Pivot is exceptional. I enjoy going to therapy. Fantastic experience: The staff at Pivot Physical therapy has been awesome very friendly and Haley has a way of communicating with her patients and her staff . Definitely knows how when to push and not to push a patient pass their limits or below their limits. I've been pleased with my results so far .
