Negative experience: Went in today, Friday 11/1/24 due to pain in my foot and being unable to walk or apply pressure on foot. Was greeted by front desk woman in a rude, annoyed demeanor with “what do you need” we filled out the necessary paperwork while the front desk woman talked to her coworker loudly about her friend dating a drug dealer, period blood cups, and how she should have taken the job at McLaren because she’d already have received a raise. Which none of these things seem like something you would want your entire waiting room to hear…? Then got in to get X-ray on foot and that tech was nice and pleasant and we got moved to a room. Waited an hour and our Medical assistant came in and said “okay you can leave now” but we never saw a doctor? We let her know and she just walked out of the room. Waited another 20 minutes and then went to ask the checkout counter how much longer until we would see a doctor. Again got a rude tone and were told that they were busy and we still had people in front of us. Oddly enough both people in front of me in waiting room were already checked out?? Suggested to them that maybe they shouldn’t talk about period cups and went back to room. Then the checkout woman proceeded to make jokes to the front desk about how they were going to delete my chart and how dare I say anything about what they can and cannot talk about. Waited another five minutes but got tired of listening to them talk trash. Walked out. Will not be back again. Wish I could give 0 out of 5. Overall terrible experience and would not wish this on anyone, let alone someone going into a medical facility for help. Honestly shocked this place is even allowed to be in business. SHAME!

Fantastic experience: I had PA Jacob Martin as my provider. I had injured my foot and had gone to 2 urgent cares before seeing him that weren’t much help. Jacob took the time to understand my pain and diagnosed me instead of leaving me with no explanation as to why I was hurting like the other urgent cares. The clinic was clean, organized, and quick. I would recommend it to anyone seeking ortho help!!

Fantastic experience: The wait was not bad for a busy walk in clinic. The place was clean woth friendly office staff. The x-ray tech and the casting staff were lovely. Very kid fruendly. Dr, Z was very clear and concise with his explination of my sons 8njury and plan of care. Overall a 5 star experience.

Negative experience: Went to the office for knee pain thats persisted for 3 months, the surgeon looked at my x-ray and looked at my knee for 30 seconds. He prescribed me two Anti-inflammatory medications and that was it. He didn’t send me for an MRI or anything. I have seen PA’s ortho’s that took more time to Investigate my injuries, I was definitely not impressed.

Fantastic experience: Hayley Gabriel was very knowledgeable and helpful! Very easy to talk to and answered all questions. 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was seen very quickly and efficiently for my hand. Jaclyn Brothers PA-C was very kinda and helpful to get me started toward physical therapy . I was very pleased with my treatment today.

Negative experience: After nothing showing on xray, Dr. claimed no idea what's going on with my knee that snapped the day prior. Could not walk, was on crutches upon being seen. Gave no direction other than to follow up with primary. Had to argue with him and demand MRI request to see what's going on as obviously whatever it was wouldn't show on xray and that's the only way to diagnose. Didn't even give me icing or stretch/PT direction in the meantime, prescribed me a steroid dose pack which the office never sent over to my pharmacy and went entire 3 day holiday weekend without any meds, relief or instruction on how to help it. Absolutely useless services and a waste of ALOT of time.

Positive experience: They were pretty busy that day so i was a little Frustrated and in pain. Couldn't figure out what What's going on with my knee so they stuck me in a knee immobilizer and have to wait on Molina Healthcare to authorize a mri but yet they tell me it could be as serious as needing a surgery

Fantastic experience: I was at the end of the day with a significant knee injury, and even short staffed everyone was so helpful, patient and things were handled quickly. Definitely recommend.

Negative experience: I'm 70 years old. Went in on crutches because I hurt my leg somehow and cannot walk on it. They would not see me. Said they are only seeing fractures. So much for thinking there was help via an ortho clinic walk in!

Negative experience: Refused to see without appointment on a recent injury because there was a previous injury to the same elbow. From my perspective, receptionist wasn't very friendly. Waited for 20 minutes before they came to the conclusion I couldn't be seen. Waste of my time.

Fantastic experience: I’m very pleased with my visit today with Dr. Jake. I presented with intense calf pain 1 week post op from knee replacement surgery. He helped educate me why I’m experiencing such intense pain & offered medication management adjustments to help better control the pain. I wish all doctors had his bedside manner & took the time to explain like he did. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Absolutely. Was the worst experience I've ever had and been treated by staff people. It's really a shame cause. I'm the nicest person that anybody would ever want to meet. The Doctor was the only person that was nice. I arrived there at 8 o'clock in the morning and arrived back to my house at 4:35 in the afternoon the entire time. I had to wait. Who is ever heard of such a thing? The Doctor kept apologizing to me. He couldn't believe the story. I told him. The staff there doesn't realize that when they're talking. Other people can hear them. And what I heard is inexcusable. And it wasn't just me hearing it too. I'm usually not a negative person. But the truth probably should be told. I hope someday they can make it right by me.

Fantastic experience: I unfortunately fell and broke an ankle. Not only was OrthoNow urgent care fantastic, but I was very impressed with Dr. Zaborowicz. Kind, caring and took the time to completely explain everything and answer questions. I felt very confident with my care.

Fantastic experience: He was very respectful and made sure to clearly communicate why he was doing certain things and would always make sure that I was ok with how he was holding my wrist. By far he is the most professional and respectful doctor I have ever been seen by.

Fantastic experience: I met Dr. Z with an emergency visit to Ortho.Mich.Urgent Care. He was extremely pleasant, thorough and professional. He diagnosed my severe foot pain and recommended a treatment plan. Dr. Z appeared genuinly concerned about my injury and my recovery.

Negative experience: My pain medication was never sent to the pharmacy. My order for my MRI was never sent to McLaren. My MRI is being held up because the providers notes wasn’t completed .unhappy with my experience.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mosier was very helpful & made sure I was well taken care of by her staff! She was no nice & knowledgeable!

Negative experience: I went with a knee injury. Not one person cared that I was unable to walk or that I was in pain. I was put in the farthest exam room at the end of the hall and then had to hobble with my son helping me all the way back and then some for an x-ray. Was never offered assistance or a wheelchair. Was told they don’t call in prescriptions until the end of the day which they were unable/unwilling to tell me when that would be when I asked - all after being told by the Dr the prescription would be waiting at the pharmacy. Horrible patient care! Horrible communication. Honestly felt like everyone there hated their job and felt the patients were an inconvenience. I work in healthcare and this was by far the most appalling healthcare experience of my life.

Positive experience: Long wait between registration and being seen by the PA although they were very efficient in between, taking xRays etc The PA was over booked She was very professional in her manner and treatment and found hidden fractures that were not diagnosed before

Fantastic experience: Dr Z was great. He took time to explore everything, presented a plan , made sure I was good with that plan and then answered all my follow up questions.

Negative experience: I did not plan on sharing this until I was sent an automated text asking me to give a review for “Kayla Worley” as I recently visited her. I dropped a table on my foot and waited several days before I was seen. I work over nights and looked online to see their walk in hours. I seen that it was 12-2pm so I called to see if I could get an appointment before 12 so I wouldn’t be awake all day. When I called, a woman answered and I asked “I seen online that your walk in isn’t open until 12 and I was wondering if I could be seen before then” the woman’s response was “ our walkin hours start at 12” I responded with I know this I’m wondering if I can be seen before then. She asked “well do you have an appointment? ” I said no that’s why I’m calling. She then told me that they don’t see or treat injuries more than 3 days old. I said okay and ended the call. I went to AMD URGENT care in clio, paid my co pay waited an hour was taken back and then got my X-rays. The PA walked in and told me that my middle toe was clearly broken and I needed to consult ortho. She put me in a boot and told me I could call my primary for an orthopedic doctor. I currently don’t have a primary as mine has moved on to other endeavors so my only option was ortho Michigan. I went directly to ortho Michigan walk in because it was already noon. As I walked in, I knew I was in for a long wait as the waiting room was full. I filled out my paper work and was seen an hour later, the lady doing my X-rays made a comment about it being very swollen and bruised after telling her my injury was almost a week old and that I had been working on it all night, she remarked very condescending “and your just now seeking care?” While some of us do have the ability to be seen and not work with an injury i unfortunately do not have that luxury. So after 3 simple X-rays, I was sent back to the room to wait. Then a man came In introduced himself and was very professional but took my self deprecating jokes with a smile and a chuckle. He told me he didn’t see any breaks and when I told him clio AMD said it was clearly broken he said “they may have gotten a better picture” but he would treat it the same. With a walking boot and a follow up in about 5 weeks. So while the doc I seen was cool. The receptionist, and the person answering the phone needs some education on professionalism as well as What they treat and what they don’t; and I also was not seen by Kayla. I don’t feel confident in my visit and will be finding a new primary to handle any further injuries.

Fantastic experience: I really liked the doctor. He is a very down to earth person who I think will become a great asset to the medical field. I wish him the best. In fact the whole team was amazing friendly.

Negative experience: Don’t waste your time. Office staff is rude and uncaring. On the website it states they see numerous ailments, yet of the six people in line they turned away everyone but one person stating “we don’t see that anymore”. I cannot walk without pain, haven’t slept in days due to the joint and she told me to find another clinic with a smile on her face.

Fantastic experience: Very thorough and explained everything to me so I clearly understood? The whole environment was inviting. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Fantastic experience: We were very happy with our visit at OrthoMichigan (walk in clinic) in regards to our daughters injury. We had the pleasure of dealing with Nathan Arnold PA, he was very thorough with explaining her injury and his suggested plan of action to help her get back to her softball! Nathan answered all our questions with compassion and understanding. Nathan also took time to examine her injury, and not rush through like others can. From the time we checked in, had x-rays, visits from other medical team individuals we spent about 45 minutes there. We were in a room within 10 minutes and just to give an idea, we were 8th in line to check in when they opened the doors at noon.

Positive experience: Jill very nice. Was told ortho team was waiting on my arrival. Was there 5-6 hrs. Sent home, Max the 1st yr resident told me to follow up in the am with ortho hand specialists. However notes say otherwise. Very frustrated since he mentioned surgery with possible pins. No one will listen. Can we contact Max to verify please. S. ROCKWELL

Negative experience: Doctor was great, really helped my husband's recover from his injury. The reason they are getting only one star is because of their office manager named Sabrina. I have never encountered such an unprofessional, rude and nasty person as her. It is very unfortunate that a doctor's office is stuck with that low of a level of professionalism by their staff.

Fantastic experience: Dr Zaborowicz was great! He acknowledged my concerns and discussed my options with me and made a treatment plan. They were busy but everything ran smooth and I was in and out as fast as possible.

Fantastic experience: efficient process and care. would recommend getting a piece of dowel just larger than a finger to shape splints better. would be less challenge to get a good fit. very much appreciate the printout of the xray.

Negative experience: Had to bring my son to be seen and WE WILL NOT come back. The front desk girls were so disrespectful and rude to me. The girl at the first computer on the left side was terrible. I absolutely could not believe how rude she really was and I do believe that she needs a course in customer service or better yet maybe a new job where she’s NOT a receptionist for healthcare. I was so appalled that she being the first person that you came across when just getting checked in that she had that bad of an attitude. 10 outta 10 WE WOULD NOT BE BACK AGAIN OR RECOMMEND if I could’ve left a lower star I would’ve

Fantastic experience: Having a walk-in Ortho clinic, in general, is amazing. I’ve used OrthoNow twice and have had great experience in both instances. I was in and out within 2 hours- including X-ray, and fittings of any equipment I may go home wearing. The doctors are pleasant and knowledgeable who ensure you leave with a full Understanding of the issue(s) at hand and directions for next steps and care.

Fantastic experience: I fell, pain Rt shoulder. Dr Z was extremely thorough with the exam, explanation, and plan for the future. He had great bedside manner and was straight to the point, but patiently answered all our questions. Very impressed with Dr Z!

Fantastic experience: Jillian was amazing with my 3 year old! She was kind, extremely knowledgeable and had an amazing bedside manner! Could not have been a better experience!

Negative experience: I had to wait almost 3 1/2 hrs to get back in a room. The front office ladies were somewhat rude & insisted on only 1 body part. My hand was broke & I struggled over an hour to write on form. Then another woman came in w/ a brace on he hand & they came out & filled her sheets out. They were very demeaning & talked ugly w/ me & others. Dealing w/ Jacylin- she wasn’t very compassionate & didn’t have a great bedside manner. The first nurse who wrote everything I said down was wonderful & very compassionate & thorough & insistent on getting both knees & hand X-rays.

Negative experience: Short office hours, 12:00pm to 3:30pm does not give people much time to get into the office. I got to location about 15 minutes early and there was already about 20 people in line waiting for the office to open. Over half of the patients left or were turned away by receptionists. After filling out paperwork, I was called back quickly and taken to XRay. Then placed in a room where I sat for over an hour and a half, waiting for the PA to come in and talk about results of XRays and injury. After waiting over 2 hours total and not seeing anyone, I was forced to leave in order to get kids from school. When leaving, I saw a patient at checkout that was way after me also checking out. Not sure of order if seeing patients but not cool to make people wait that long while PA sees other patients and takes phone calls.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Zaborowicz was kind, professional and even went back to review films after seeing me and my clinical presentation did not match what he was thinking to be sure he didn’t miss anything. His medical assistant (I think her name was Chloe?) was welcoming, kind and efficient. Exactly what you need in a setting that’s extremely busy and only open for short hours. The front desk staff was on top of it as well!! To be able to process so much info, help people politely understand their situation and what is appropriate for that office and maintain composure is impressive.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Z at OrthoMichigan NOW in Flint was highly professional but still very down to earth. He took my questions and answered them fully and easily enough for us to understand. He also went beyond my expectations when I told him my time issue and he delivered. I would definitely recommend this doctor and location. The staff was wonderful as well. I never felt rushed or like I'm an inconvenience being there. Kudos to this facility. I highly recommend.
