Unicare is a community health center that offers a wide range of medical services designed to meet your healthcare needs.
We are here to support you, providing care both in person at our clinics and remotely through Telehealth. In addition, we offer COVID-19 testing at our three locations. To make an appointment, please contact the clinic nearest to you.
Our team of experts offers a variety of services, including physical exams, vaccinations, cancer screenings, ultrasounds, mammograms, and more.
At Unicare, we are committed to providing superior healthcare to the people we serve. We strive to make medical services accessible, comprehensive, and cost-effective for all family members, thus reducing the need for emergency room or urgent care visits. Our goal is to be a community health organization that treats everyone with respect, courtesy, and sensitivity to cultural differences, in order to create a supportive environment where everyone can flourish.
Unicare CHC is a health center that has been recognized by the federal government and is approved by the Federal Tort Claims Act. It is licensed by the state of California and is managed by an independent board of directors. It is also a recipient of the FQHC Program, which is funded by the Department of Health and Human Services, under 42 U.S.C. 254. The center has been given Federal Health Service deemed status in regards to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.

Negative experience: UNICARE COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER in FONTANA is the worst place to seek services. They only care about billing Medi-Cal and not about the patience health. My mom has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and we have been trying to get the letter to be able to begin with IHSS and also to the neurologist and they keep lying saying they are unable to provide this. They keep making my mom go in to the office because that means more money for them, when in reality my mom should not have to go in when all we need is the damn letter or referral. DON'T TRUST THEM! ALL THEY WANT IS MONEY!

Fantastic experience: 2.4 stars I’m not sure if it’s with the same employees because let me tell You from beginning to start this place is professional & accurate! I’m 38 with artificial hips and have been through so many x rays and mri’s appointments more then you can probably think of and by far Karina,Xochilt & Nurse Ty Nguyen are so nice and professional. They get you in as fast as possible you can literally see their natural will to help people all over the face and energy!.. One of the best medical experiences ever!! 10 Star if I could!.. Negative experience: Unicare clinic is something else there staff is very RUDE and Unprofessional make it worst the nurse practitioner is HORRIBLE . We are changing our provider. They should re train the entire clinic get better staff, nurse and practitioner that loves what they do and treats there patients equally and respect.

Fantastic experience: This medical clinic is a classic example of the metaphorical phrase: "Do Not Judge the Book by its Cover." Whenever I have a doctor appointment, I usually speak with Rika. To this date, she and other staff members of this medical group have treated me with dignity and respect. They have processed my doctor appointments and doctor referrals very well. No complaints. For the above reasons, I give them 5 stars!

Negative experience: So unprofessional. I always have to wait in the lobby for 1 hour. What’s the point of making a appointment if there not going to honer the time. I HATE coming here.
Negative experience: Terrible service. Even with an appointment you’ll be waiting an hour or longer. Then when you’re finally called in you’ll be waiting another hour or so in the room.

Fantastic experience: I had the most amazing experience at the Unicare on foothill and citrus. I was called in very quickly and the wonderful woman who took my blood pressure Marisol was very kind. My BP was high and Marisol helped me to relax so that I could get the meds I needed to calm my BP down. The NP that saw me Brian Rocha was very kind and let me cry through my emotions. Everyone there was so very kind. Especially Myra Cervantes... If I could give more stars I would.

Negative experience: Garbage brought my wife here with our newborn guy at the front desk wouldn’t let me and, our baby in because only patients could come in even tho the whole waiting room was empty and no other patients were here had to go back outside and get wait in my car it was also 100 degrees outside

Negative experience: I’m usually waiting 3 hours just to get checked up even though I have an appointment. I was also scheduled during a holiday and they knew they did not have any appointments that day but still continued to schedule me there its the 3rd time rescheduling.

Negative experience: Called 3 times to make an appointment, I was left on hold all 3 times, the first time I could hear the phone picked up and put down to hang up. Seriously unprofessional.

Negative experience: Would not recommend always a long wait even with appointment. Front desk never makes sure information is correct or ready for next appointment. For an appointment they make you wait for 2 to 3 hours before they see you. They put you in a room and they still make you wait another 45 to 1and a half. Their service is terrible.

Negative experience: My grandma had a appointment today and missed it due to her transportation not picking her up. The lady at the front seat that called her was very rude and aggressive. Ruined the perspective of the clinic as a whole.

Fantastic experience: The staff here is super nice. Haven't had any problems with staff or the dr. The doctor Rica is amazing, she treats her patients so well. Happy to have found a good Dr office.

Fantastic experience: The receptionists& doctors are great. I don't wait there more than one hour to be attended. I've been here a couple of times and it seems great. I've read many of the comments and it seems as there is a problem with the receptionists although I believe they're great. There's probably new staff because they seem very well organized. I don't see any broken glass anywhere. The waiting area, patient rooms and restrooms are clean. The receptionists I have spoke to speak both English and Spanish. I would recommend this health center to anyone.
Positive experience: Every time I've came without an appointment ive had to wait for up to 3 hours, once i waited 5. I was furious. Doctors are friendly but reviews are right about the staff. Or at least the front desk ladies. They're mean and seem to not care. Nice and clean for the most part. Didn't get the doctors name but he was is chubby and white, very nice and caring doctor.

Negative experience: The most worst clinic... unorganized desk...broken glass on window and drawing on mirror and wall... the front people are really annoying and everything bothers them...lastly they stand all in a group laughing and talking while theirs still people that haven't been attended

Negative experience: This place "Unicare Community Health Care" i think there so unorganized with your papers. Be calling you with other peoples appointments also they never put nothing on the records in the computer or something because even though you already have any appointment they'll call you a week after trying to schedule an appointment when you already have one. I recommend you guys too not come here. Also when i had an appointment with them i showed up & wasted gas because when i got there the appointment wasn't for my baby like there just unorganized
Fantastic experience: I've always been handled quickly and with respect. Even as a walk in. I don't know why people put negative reviews when they make them wait as a walk in, but they've made my appointments short and on time. The staff is friendly and helpful!!!

Negative experience: Horrible! They lost important documents that they needed to refer me to a specialist to remove a cyst that has been bothering me badly and that is unacceptable!
