Target Clinic care provided by Kaiser Permanente

Fantastic experience: Made a last minute appointment to bring my daughter in who was experiencing an oddly rash on her back. As soon as we arrived, we rang the bell and a kind receptionist came out to great us. I had called ahead to let them know we were running a little late and they assured us we would be seen. The check in process was swift and we were brought back to be seen by the NP. All was well and couldn’t of asked for a more gentle and accommodating staff when needing to deal with a toddle.

Negative experience: Check-in nurse (Kaiser clinic Fontana) has impolite demeanor for being in medical field. Not expecting casual banter but just something unkind about her. No good morning or please hold your card so I can read medical number or hi little one to my toddler being seen. I'm sure some of you will understand what I mean when I say she was unkind. I had my husband take him in because I could just feel myself getting uncomfortable with her. Maybe they can have an actual people person handle check in. I don't even know her name because her badge was turned backwards. Hubby said she was completely nice when they went in back. Maybe she's one of those women that isn't pleasant with other women.

Negative experience: Is it by appointment only or walk in? Because im unable to make an appointment online. Ive been trying for days now and it gives me an error of please try again later.

Fantastic experience: Update: I was told you have to make an appointment to be seen here now. Before it was walk in's only. Original post: I live right around the corner from this Target. It's so nice having a Kaiser clinic there inside. The staff is so kind & helpful. The only warning I can give is GET THERE EARLY! Try to get there 10 min's before they open if possible. The wait can be pretty frustrating.

Negative experience: I took my toddler here for a walk in right when they opened. The receptionist informed me that since I didn't have an appointment (for an walk-in style clinic) they would not be able to see my child. During the process she was very rude and had little people skills. I waited for about 20 minutes and they didn't see anyone during that time (we were the only people waiting). I hope that Kaiser reconsiders working with clinics like this if the customer service is so poor.

Negative experience: Carrie was rude and condescending. Refused to help when asked if she could call kaisers Fontana location and said she had no direct ties to kaiser and doesn’t work for them. (Um hello this is a kaiser clinic!) this is not the kaiser service I grew up on. They were always known for having the best but the service was by far the worst I’ve ever encountered

Negative experience: I thought this was a walk in clinic. The receptionist was extremely rude and said it was for appointments only. Wow. Never going there again.

Fantastic experience: We walked in two hours before closing to get a flu shot. I saw a sign out front stating there were no more appointments available for the day but decided to ask the receptionist/nurse at the front desk anyway. She was very helpful and said we could still get the shot without an appointment. After taking our info (Kaiser membership number) she said to give her about 5 minutes to complete the necessary paperwork and grab the vaccine. Two minutes later we were called back and she administered the vaccine quickly and easily. We were in and out within 5 minutes! Very simple and I'd much rather go to target than drive all the way to a Kaiser facility! This is a wonderful concept!

Fantastic experience: My experience was relatively quick and without complaints.

Negative experience: I was a walk-in at 5pm and they close at 7pm. After waiting and eventually seeing the front desk clerk she said they were closed. The website clearly says 7pm and I told this to the clerk. She abruptly told me I could not be seen since they were scheduled with physicals until 7pm. This is disappointing for me as my wife has spoken highly about the immediate service at this location.

Negative experience: Very upset worst experience from a kaiser facility, Had to go back the next day, the antibiotics gave me nausea and the answer from the receptionist was that could not be change because the physician working today was a different one, and advise to stop taking the cough syrup, that syrup could be the problem. Requested a return to work and that was also denied, reason different physician .

Negative experience: I know there is 2 Nurse Practitioners but one is very rude and the receptionists is even worse she is rude and unprofessional I dont know how Kaiser allows them to represent them I was with a group of moms the other day and they all said the same thing this is sad since the Clinic is a convenient idea
