Fantastic experience: I was referred by my Dr to Dr. Quick for knee pain, popping and swelling. I thought I was going to have to have surgery. After a few sessions with Dr. Quick, my knee is feeling much better with hopes of being able to run again soon! Dr. Quick has assembled an amazing practice, including awesome staff, state of the art equipment and approaches and a wonderful bedside manner. I would recommend this practice to anyone!

Dr. Quick listened and observed well to make a thorough diagnosis, and then identified the right exercises to increase strength and mobility. Fantastic experience: I've always had a good experience at Berkana regardless of the therapist I was working with. I've been going there off and on for about a year and will continue to do so.

Negative experience: Dr. Chin did not listen to me and ended up splintering my R Great Trochanter on July3. Could not walk and the office took me to ER. When released went to OCR and xray showed splintering of R get trochanter. I now can walk without a walker not without pain. .

Fantastic experience: I was very, very happy with the care that I was given by Dr. Janae Chinn at the Berkana Rehabilitation Institute in Fort Collins. Dr. Chinn assessed my shoulder problem immediately and put a rehabilitation plan in place. Improvement took place in less than a month. Dr. Chinn came up with new and improving shoulder exercises for me. Thank you, thank you very much, Dr. Chinn.

Fantastic experience: They staff is friendly and my therapist is helpful and kind. I haven't been able to move pain free in months and after just a few appointments I feel so much stronger.

Negative experience: Although Nancy Quick has good clinical skills, she is surprisingly biased in certain areas and unable to take in the accurate information that is needed to properly treat a client, no matter how many ways or times the information is given to her. In addition, her people-skills are often lacking, which may explain what seems to be a very high rate of turnover in her office, both in the other PTs and in the support staff. She might be a good choice for people who need short-term, focused work ---- e.g., someone who is healthy and is recovering from a sports-related injury, or someone who had a knee replacement. But all others would probably be wise to steer clear.

Fantastic experience: I am very enthused that I was able to get an appointment relatively quickly. The traveling physical therapist got right to work on the issue for me. She knew what she was doing! My only criticism is that I felt rather rushed. A 30 minute appointment is really not long enough. All in all, however, my issue largely has been resolved.

Fantastic experience: I was referred by a friend of mine as we both have the same disease, Transverse Meyelitis. Dr. Quick is awesome!! She thinks outside the box and we’re working on strengthening my muscles. Has me working on many different strengthening exercises that my previous PT never showed me or had me do..is extremely knowledgeable in the field! I have loved my therapy so much that I drive from Denver to Fort Collins 3 days a week.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Quick has been amazing. I've seen several PTs over the years for different injuries and this is easily the best experience I've had. I started noticing an improvement in my pain immediately and am optimistic that we're on the right path towards pain-free running!

Fantastic experience: Dr Tran listens to you! I've done PT for years for my hip. I also worked the front desk at PT offices throughout my career. I know PT. Dr Tran knows PT. I told him some exercises were hurting and he immediately changed up my rehab. It's been years I've been dealing with hip osteoarthritis so I know I can't be "fixed" in a few visits. Dr Tran knows that too. That's why he scheduled me accordingly. Give him a try. You won't be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: This IS the best rehab/ physical therapy place ever ! Fort Collins, Colorado. I've tried several physical therapy places over the years, some even on recommendation of a doctor --- To no avail until I found Berkana. Dr. Nancy correctly diagnosed my issues that were causing pain and worse, the inflexibility in my hips. Some of which were because I had been incorrectly compensating (for years) for not using my muscles properly. I'm an avid fly fisher and do not want to give that up. Add to that this year my kids and gr'sons have taken up downhill skiing, and so have I, after 20 years hiatus. I attribute this to the excellent diagnostics, subsequent stretching and strengthening that Dr. Nancy put me on. Since I'm 72 years old my Medicare coverage has a 'healthy' allowance for physical therapy -- I highly recommend Berkana. Sue K.

Fantastic experience: I found the perfect physical therapist at Berkana rehab. I arrive with multiple knots in the muscles in my back, and I leave feeling incredible relaxed and relieved. Dr. Daniels is compassionate and professional. He knows where and how to find my areas of pain and what to do about it quickly. His office runs on time. I’ve never had to wait more than five minutes to see him and each session has been a five-star experience.

Fantastic experience: In early February, I had reverse shoulder replacement. Within a couple of weeks I was in rehab. Because of the work of the doctors I Was given a clean bill of health and no longer needed rehab. Because of their work, my shoulder has reached the optimum in range of motion as directed by my surgeon and with no pain. They are the best.

Excellent skills, perceptive, listens and questions very well, checks in often re rehab techniques...gets results. Fantastic experience: Dr. Dannels LISTENS!!! I have been misdiagnosed by other doctors for many years. On my first visit, Dr. Dannels went in with zero assumed knowledge about my condition. He asked me questions and went through a series of tests. In the very first session, he identified the root cause of my back pain and did some preliminary work on it. It started feeling a bit looser after that first session. I have work to do for sure, but knowing that it is finally going in the right direction is a wonderful relief! Truly amazing and intuitive.

Fantastic experience: I have thoroughly enjoyed coming to my appointment each week. I have learned something new each visit that has really helped my condition. I have enjoyed my therapist and his knowledge and expertise. I would highly recommend the facility.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Berkana worked hard to fit me in after knee replacement surgery and Dr. Quick even gave up her lunch hour to make sure I had a spot. I explained that I had travel planned 4 weeks after surgery, so they know where I need to be in my rehab journey. Great place!

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Dr Quick for the last 2+ years. She's helped me immensely with my chronic long term issues, as well as the the acute pains that pop up here and there. Dr Quick listens well and cares for her patients, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The office has everything one would need to rehab an injury as well as equipment to help you train for your next marathon or bike race.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nancy Quick is a dedicated professional who has worked tirelessly to help me develop and strengthen my right quadricep muscle. I am a polio survivor who experienced polio at age 6 months, learned to walk with polio's residual effects and until just a few weeks have had virtually no strength in my right quad. Dr. Quick has helped me to improve my gait and to walk with less risk of falling. Following a recent hospitalization Dr. Quick and all her staff mailed me a get well card! Of all the medical offices treating me over the years (there have been. many) no other office and its owner and staff have reached out to me in such a kind and caring manner as Berkana did today! Fantastic experience: Dr Quick and her team diagnosed my shoulder impingement, which was quite debilitating, and within 5-6 weeks of therapy and exercise plan, all pain was gone! Very knowledgeable team and nice facility!

Fantastic experience: I struggled for months with sciatica type pain and was referred from doctor to doctor, X-ray to MRI and so on without finding relief or seeing progress. When I started going to Berkana Rehad I finally had a Doctor take the time to fully understand what was going on. They patiently worked with me for months and months, sometimes making great progress and sometime just helping me stick with it when progress was scarce. Today I was able to do a full work out, my first in over 6 months! I would have been lost and continued to injure myself if it wasn’t for the wonderful Docs at Berkana. I’m sure they’re good at other stuff too but if you’re looking for sports related physical therapy this place has my vote.

Fantastic experience: I have a genetic disorder called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and the therapist that's been working with me is excellent. She's been taking the time to learn the special protocol for EDSers and really helping me to get more stability & strengthen the muscles around my joints. I would highly recommend Berkana and I love Mary Robinson.

Fantastic experience: I had been going to a different physical therapy place for post-surgical knee rehab, but after 6 months my knee wasn't improving. Finally I switched to Berkana, and they helped me finally get off the crutches, and now I'm back to hiking and biking. More recently I had to have shoulder surgery and again they are helping me recover quickly. All the therapists there are great! They're very knowledgeable and encouraging.

Fantastic experience: 11 weeks after having my left knee replaced, I'm 95% recovered. I have almost full range of motion and can walk without pain. All of this thanks to Dr Sam Lindsey and Berkana. The environment is bright and open, the equipment is professional and the staff is friendly and incredibly competent. I cannot recommend them enough.

But none of the places I’ve where I've been treated stood out when it came time to do it again. I asked a coworker who she was using for her knee and she recommended Berkana Rehab. I’m glad I asked. All the folks at Berkana Rehab are great. Erin, the receptionist, is friendly and efficient. Drs. Quick and Wright are engaging in their manner and skilled at their craft. You can set up appointments with one or both. I have the sense that both really care about my progress. And there’s Jackson, a friendly four-legged staffer… The facility is bright and cheerful, with a big window in the exercise room that faces a small lake to the south. The room has a wide variety of exercise equipment. Yoga and other classes are available on-site as well. I highly recommend Berkana for excellent staff and facilities.
