Fantastic experience: On Monday, November 17th, I met with my provider, Sam Fischer for the first time. Right of way he made me feel comfortable and at home. I am looking forward to working with him.

Fantastic experience: I found this clinic to very friendly, knowledgeable and truly committed to rehabilitating the client. Dr Sam was congenial and relatable and explained things so that a lay person could understand the situation. Appointments were easy to schedule and the wait time was negligible.

Fantastic experience: I started seeing Dr. Sam back in 2020 for lower back pain. I couldn't go over a speed bump without excruciating pain. He worked relentlessly to help me. If something didnt work we tried something else. He got me strong and feeling much better. But better wasnt good enough. So rather than sending me on my way to do little exercises that may or may not help he made phone calls on my behalf. He ended up recommending I ask my doctor about a simple procedure that I had never heard of. My doctor was grateful for his suggestion and I got the procedure done shortly after. I can now do pretty much anything without back pain. Without Dr. Sam and his tenacity I would still be in pain everyday. I am forever grateful.

Fantastic experience: I saw Sam for back pain, which has plagued me for many years. As a recently retired radiologist, I was very impressed that he was able to accurately read the MRI of my back and knew exactly what to focus on. He created a plan for me, which worked beautifully. I saw him over a year ago and continue to go through the exercises every morning immediately after getting out of bed. I am pain free to this day. He's a gem.

Fantastic experience: Sam is the best PT in the area by far. He doesn't just work by rote, he tries to figure out exactly what's going on. He also takes the time to show you on posters or illustrations and really talks it through so you understand. He would get 20 stars if that were an option. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: Sam has been absolutely amazing to work with. I've seen him for a variety of different issues - some very long-term aches and pains that I've had for years and some new ones that have popped up more recently. He always takes the time to listen, assess, and get to the root of what's going on and this has made ALL the difference to my recovery. Some of the injuries I've been dealing with for multiple years (and have seen multiple other PTs for) are actually starting to improve significantly for the first time ever! Before finding Sam I had resigned myself to just being someone who would always have knee and foot pain due to running. That's not the case anymore and I am finally feeling hopeful that these long-term challenges will be resolved for good. Very exciting! He is incredibly knowledgeable and does a great job explaining what's going on, how to address it, and what to expect as next steps so that you know exactly what to do at home/while training to improve your injuries and get back on the right track.

Fantastic experience: Sam is our go-to for any PT needs. He is very thorough in his initial evaluation, more so than the big orthopedic clinic in our area. You can tell he is extremely knowledgeable and enjoys what he does. I've referred him to a few friends and they have also been very satisfied and had good results. Thank you, Sam!

Fantastic experience: Easily the best PT I've been to. I've seen both Sam and Chris for a handful of sports injuries at this point, including knee, shoulder, hamstring, and forearm injuries, and have been very happy with the results each time. They are both thoughtful and methodical in pinpointing the cause of the issue, explaining it clearly, and setting me up with both short-term and long-term recovery plans. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Fantastic experience: Sam has helped me on and off for a few years through some difficult times with shoulder problems – two rotator cuff surgeries and a shoulder replacement. Sam’s strong expertise and the care he put into helping me were essential parts of my sticking with my recovery and making progress even when things got disheartening, confusing and complicated. I told him one time “thanks for not giving up on me“. He just kept offering his insights/expertise and was creative and encouraging and helpful. I never felt rushed as he took the time to clearly understand what was going on and recommend the most effective treatment. I would come in with questions about other things going on with my body, and he patiently answered all my questions. Thanks Sam.

Fantastic experience: HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Dr. Sam is wonderful and very knowledgeable. I had a very complicated foot surgery. He understood it immediately and was able to explain it to me. He provided videos of the exercises I should do and changed those exercises often enough to keep me engaged and progressing in my recovery. I looked forward to my sessions with Dr. Sam. I have recommended him to many people all of whom were extremely satisfied.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Dr. Sam Fischer was very positive. He was patient and kind but pushed me gently to go past my self-imposed limitations because I was afraid of pain. He was very knowledgeable and extremely professional but also warm and personable. I cannot say enough good about him. UPDATE: The progress that I am seeing is very encouraging and uplifting to me. Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Sam for PT, he pushed me in rehab and I am better off because of it and a head of schedule. After knee replacement surgery I was back on my bike a few days shy 8 weeks. Sam helped me again after hp replacement surgery and again I am very happy with the results of the work we put in. Fantastic experience: I made meaningful progress on my Achilles repair rehab after surgery, with the help of Chris Munoz, my physical therapist, at Choice City Physical Therapy. I was only in Fort Collins for 3 month but we made the most of it.

Dr. Sam is not only knowledgeable but also has a keen intuitive sense of when to be gentle and when to push. I am getting stronger and gaining ROM after every visit. The office is chill with great music playing and fun trivia (both a good distraction from PT push pain). 10/10!

Fantastic experience: Sam was very good in figuring out the issue I am having. He treated me for the condition. Also, he sent videos of the exercises, so I knew exactly what to do at home. Very impressed!!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Sam. He is kind, knowledgeable and easy to get into.... it's nice to have someone in your corner. I have struggled with dizziness, eyesight issues and balance at the young age of 40. (I had been to doctors who put me on anxiety meds, ENT, balance specialists and a functional doctor.) Nobody could seem to figure out what was actually happening. Sam was the first to run many different tests on me to ensure there wasn't something bigger going on. He confirmed I had issues with the muscles on the back of my skull. I had been told previously that there was no connection between the neck and the symptoms I was having. (Frankly, I was starting to go crazy and even considered expensive scans to see what they could find.) Dr. Sam figured it out, showed me the anatomy of what was happening, gave me exercises and did dry needling.) It was such a relief. After a few sessions the agony I had for YEARS was gone. It was so nice to not only find the relief but understand the source so I could avoid my symptoms in the future. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: 10/10 recommend. I had gone to a different PT before, and wasn't seeing results. It turns out I was misinformed about what the issue was. Sam not only was able to correctly identify the root cause of my issue, but also explained it to me patiently and clearly. I left feeling both incredibly empowered and hopeful that my chronic pain wasn't going to be chronic for long. He very clearly knows his stuff, and I trust him completely. He also sends follow-up videos of him doing the stretches/exercises after, so you don't have to remember the specifics. While I am now healed up and hope I don't have another issue that brings me back to PT, I am certain where I will be going if I do. (Here. I will be going here. Just in case that wasn't clear.)

Fantastic experience: Dr Sam is amazing. Really works to find the source of the pain and knows when to seek out others' advice or more testing (i.e. X-Rays or MRI) to ensure the therapy is going in the right direction. He is attentive to each patient and his ease of conversation makes the sessions feel more at home.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional PT office! Sam is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He takes time to make sure you understand what is happening and the results you are looking for at different stages of your recovery. Connection to an app is provided so you can review exercise videos/instructions and log your at home PT and keep Choice City updated on your progress. This office is not an office that has numerous people receiving therapy at the same time, it's a one-on-one experience. I am thrilled to have connected with Choice. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I had a 3 level cervical disk fusion and was in complete desperation trying to recovery from surgery on medical leave. I could not move my right arm. I had seen several physical therapists and was on medications like gabapentin with no relief. I was basically losing my mind. But Dr Fischer had given me the right remedy. He is a genius when it comes to human physical anatomy and how all the muscles works together. With one assessment he was able to prescribe the proper exercises to strengthen the muscles in my neck and bring back flexibility. We worked for several months, 3 days a week, and that course of action has given me the strength and relief to have my life back. I gained confidence and know-how to understand the reality of my pain and that I have control over this by me exercising and doing the right physical therapy. Since then I have become a beast at 57 mountain biking, skiing, lifting, playing guitar in a band, and working at the computer for my job. I cannot thank him enough. He has also helped me put a new drive train on my mountain bike. Not saying that will provide that same service to everyone but he did for me. Again, it is not about the pills or hopelessness when it comes to pain. It is all about the muscle. You got to build muscle and flexibility as the true remedy for pain management. So let us all now get off the couch, put down the pain pills, call Dr. Fischer and start working out. Cheers!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Fischer is very good. I went to see him after my previous physical therapist said that most of her patients would be happy with the results I had achieved and discharged me from more therapy. But I was hoping for a more complete recovery. Dr. Fischer helped me get what I think is the best possible recovery in my circumstances. He is very knowledgeable and is willing to work with someone with athletic goals rather than just functional ones. He is also very relatable and encourages me by telling me about his own relevant experiences. I will be going back to Dr. Fischer if I have any further need for physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: Sam, at Choice City Physical Therapy, was recommended to me by a friend and I'm very glad I chose to work with him following my knee replacement surgery. Bonus - as a female patient going to a male provider...I'm not really sure of a better way to put this...he's blessedly, extremely, NOT creepy. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to three different physical therapists for my shoulder and this has to be the best one. Actually listens and adjusts your plan based on pain or results. I have had nothing but pain for the last 3 years in my neck and shoulder and I am so happy to be working on it here, FINALLY!!! Fantastic experience: I started in with Sam Fischer three days after my knee replacement surgery, and over the next two months his deep knowledge of the process of a knee replacement and what was needed to properly heal and regain natural movement in my knee brought me unprecedented healing and movement in that leg. With the movements, stretches and activities he included, I achieved 139 degree bend in my knee by my final treatment 9 weeks after surgery. He explained the source of every pain I was experiencing, along with targeted stretches and postures to relieve them. I had some physical therapy courses in college, and these gave me an appreciation of the education and training Sam underwent to earn his doctorate in physical therapy. I was deeply grateful to have a practitioner with impecable knowledge of the human body, its possibilities and limitations, and needs for healing. I'm due for a second knee replacement and have no qualms about it, knowing that Sam Fischer and Choice City Physical Therapy will be there for my recovery and rehabilitation.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Sam has been phenomenal at diagnosing the cause of various pain problems when I have used his services. Usually my problems are back related. Today it was muscle related. He listened and considered my symptoms and tested my responses. By doing so, he was able to determine what was causing my pain and gave me exercises to eliminate it. I have been to many physical therapists and chiropractors over the last twenty plus years prior to being referred to Dr. Sam by a friend (most of my problems are due to a back injury suffered in 1999). His ability to diagnose the problem is very exceptional as well as his ability to help me resolve the issue through additional appointments or exercises or a combination of both. Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough how much Sam helped me and educated me on how to prevent the injuries I came to him with. Full story: I had side pain every morning for months, went to several doctors and got several tests done, only to get contradictory conclusions . I am so glad I found Sam. Having the exercises and stretches on my phone, as well as helpful videos, made it super easy to follow my plan at home. He also found creative ways to make all the exercises doable at home. He also helped me with my rotator cuff. I had an injury years ago thay was resolved with PT at a site in California, but I reinjured it several months ago. After doing those exercises from the past, I saw very very little to no improvement. He was able to provide a significantly superior roadmap that has gotten me back to doing pull-ups pain free! Choice City Physical Therapy is the best!

Fantastic experience: I broke my arm (crack in my shoulder) while skiing a couple of months ago. I had to wear an immobilizer for one month and had almost zero mobility after it was taken off. This was the first time I had ever broken a bone, and being unable to move it at all was terrifying and overwhelming. Sam helped me overcome these fears right after our first session! I felt better instantly, and noticed the difference in my arm almost right away. Sam would stretch my arm at the beginning of the session and had me complete a variety of exercises afterwards. After our sessions, Sam would provide a personalized stretch and workout routine that I could complete at home. After just a handful of sessions, I regained almost all mobility! Going to PT was truly the highlight of my week, not only because I knew I would feel better physically, but also because Sam is a great guy and we always had great conversations. I recommend Choice City 100%!

Fantastic experience: I am 72 and have chronic lower right back pain from scoliosis. I live in San Antonio TX and have great physical therapy there (Stratton Rehab). I visit Fort Collins and family for extended stays and found Choice City physical therapy and Sam last Autumn. Sam has given me new exercises which are fantastic! They are daily stretching and strengthening exercises which I find very beneficial. Choice City and Sam are extremely helpful for chronic pain, plus he is very personable, patient and I cannot say enough good things.

Fantastic experience: Sam Fischer is a great physical therapist. I felt very comfortable and confident that he would be able to help me with my knee injury. Within a couple days I was able to start walking and building strength on my leg. Super friendly and great environment to begin any physical therapy journey.

Fantastic experience: When I first came to see Dr. Sam I immediately felt at ease with the casual and friendly atmosphere. He came highly recommended and after one session it was clear why. Unlike other places I've gone for PT, I never felt rushed and it was apparent that Dr. Sam truly cares for his patients. You won't feel like a number or that some quota is trying to be met. I have arthritis in my neck and back, a bulged disc and multiple overuse injuries that've plagued me for many years. Fantastic experience: I’m beyond happy to have found Choice City PT! I had a foot injury and was wearing a costly orthopedic boot. After seeing another more widespread PT, I was not only unhappy with the treatment but even more unhappy with the need to set up multiple future appointments. I was frustrated with not knowing if and when I could look forward to some relief from pain and be able to function and walk normally again. I relayed this to my doctor who then gave me Sams information. At my first visit Sam listened to everything. I said then proceeded to a thorough exam of my foot and pain. He then did some manipulations, gave me specific exercises and I literally walked out without the need of the dreaded boot! I had one more appointment after that and I was discharged. I am amazed and ecstatic to be on my feet all day, be able to wear my Chacos, and not be limping! If you’re reading this, you are likely looking for a good PT. Fantastic experience: Sam is a great PT. He's straightforward, thinks outside the box, clear with instructions, understands that sometimes you just need a good set of exercises to take home and do on your own--and other times maybe not. A good resource and practitioner.

Fantastic experience: Four years ago, I fell teaching step aerobics and, like any good fitness professional, I jumped right back up and kept going (I'm kidding, that was a bad choice). I have been dealing with hip pain ever since, and even went to PT two different times, with two different PTs for it. During the pandemic, I started to experience foot pain and was referred to PT for it. I decided to try Dr. Sam at Choice City because he happens to have an office near my house. I'm so lucky that I chose him. It turns out that my foot pain is directly associated with my hip pain. Dr. Sam asked me questions about my lifestyle and what I was hoping to get back to (for me, it's running). He designed a program that specifically addresses the function of my hip, calf, and foot during running. I ONLY ENDED UP HAVING TO GO TO PT THREE TIMES- that's right- three sessions, spread two weeks apart and I am nearly 100% pain free. I'm blown away. Other PTs treated me for months with no progress. I cannot recommend Choice City enough!! Go see Dr. Sam, you will not regret it- also, he's funny!

Fantastic experience: I am extremely grateful to have found and been treated by Choice City PT. Dr. Fischer is effective and efficient with his work. I broke my ankle in 3 places and had 2 plates with 8 screws put in. The stiffness and lack of mobility in my leg was terrifying. Sam worked out all the stiffness behind my ankle, returned my flexibility and rebuilt the strength in my calf and ankle. He means what he does and it worked. I'm back to full mobility (as much as I can be with as much metal as I have now) and have returned to my running, rock climbing and even ballet! Thank you so much Choice City Physical Therapy!

Fantastic experience: I came in for shoulder pain. Dr. Sam evaluated me and with stretching, exercise, and STIM, I was pain free in the first week. I asked Sam to check out chronic knee and lower back pain I have had on my right side for years. He did, and figured out neither my knee nor my back was the problem, but my hip--who would've thought? I had previously been to 3 other physical therapy clinics, none of which diagnosed my hip. I thought it was something I just had to deal with. But, with Dr. Sam, just 2 weeks later of PT on my hip, both my knee and back felt great! I'm running and playing with my kids, pain free. Dr. Sam took care to explain what was happening in my body, using models and pictures when necessary, so I understood the process and eventual outcome. He listened when I said a certain exercise felt wierd or hurt and customized my treatment plan. If you have to go to physical therapy, choice city physical therapy is the way to go.
