Fantastic experience: I visited Dr. Motamed for an injury to my left knee, and he provided excellent care. He was thorough and open to exploring different solutions to support my recovery. I'm very happy to have him as my orthopedic specialist.

Negative experience: ***RIP OFF*** They don’t disclose what they are going to charge upfront and later on charge such a huge amount for a ankle support available so cheap outside , avoid this place

Negative experience: Very unprofessional staff. They dont care for the patients. Even after sending referrals over 3 weeks, they cannot respond….

Negative experience: I agree with the rest of the reviews, the staff is awful. They're rude, and short and it almost seems like they don't want you to make an appointment. There is no way to electronically send records, you have to fax them or print them. This feels outdated and it makes me wonder how up to date they are on everything else. They also want to rerun expensive tests that have already been done to make more money I guess. Just awful.

Negative experience: Waiting time is extremely long, WITH APPOINTMENT. Each time I wait for more than half an hour after my appointment time. They just put you in a room and let you be there forever. They do not care if you have other things to do or not.

Negative experience: They have the bad service ever, call center and front desk are so disrespectful talk to you arrogantly. I got my referral send to them and was on file for more than 2weeks, when I call them they kept telling me we don’t have it. I can’t go to work I can’t walk well.

Negative experience: Shame on the front desk staff who was lying to my parent just because no one can translate for her. They said that the provider needs someone in person to translate, and when my mom took out her phone and tried to use phone voice translator to communicate with them, they said the provider is in surgery?? Excuse me??

Fantastic experience: My surgeon is Dr. Joshua Van Gompel, he is very smart, he fixed my foot what the other surgeon couldn’t. I can walk without pain! Besides being very knowledgeable and professional he is one of the positively energized people to make you feel safe and relaxed around them before the surgery.

Negative experience: They just want the patient to in pain all the times

Negative experience: Very sad that they ask us to be here early and making us wait for long time. Every visit I had here, the average minimum wait time is 45 mins. Doctors, please understand that like you are busy, others also have another schedules and please try to respect that.

Negative experience: Appointments are always days and weeks later. Even the follow up appointments are weeks out. They need to have more doctors or stop taking new patients.

Negative experience: I have been on the phone all afternoon just trying to get through to make an appointment. I have spent hours on hold, only to get the answering service to whom I give detailed information and then don’t get a call back. The two times I did get through to staff they were surly and unhelpful. If this is how they run their office and treat their patients it doesn’t inspire confidence in the quality of care they provide.

Fantastic experience: 5 stars for Dr Van Gompell Ankle surgery beginning 2023. I cant express how satisfy I am with everything. 7 months in and im ready to run and feel sooo much better. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Got my ingrown toenail removed and they did a great job. The process wasn't too painful and I'm healing pretty good. They also are good for patients with needle anxiety

Negative experience: My PCP referred to Dr Joshua Van Gompel to Fremont office. I tried to make an appointment several times by phone and online. No one called me back. Why it is so difficult to make an appointment to this office ?. Very poor scheduling service.

Negative experience: The surgery was a failure. I spent two years in total agony until I went to Kaiser to have revision surgery. I would not recommend this place to get a splinter removed. The physical therapist are good. But the surgeon was awful.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ricupito and his staff have been great and made my son’s experience with braces so seamless and easy. My son never had an issue with his braces unlike what we hear from other parents at different practices. They always remind us of the appointments and help us stay on top of the process. 5 stars to them.

Fantastic experience: Had done my Right shoulder rotator cuff surgery about 8 weeks ago at Fremont surgery center by Dr. Kale. The pre-op appointment was very informative as Dr. Kale explained what to expect during and after surgery. On the day of surgery just before I was wheeled in …he stopped by and gave a quick run down of the proceedings. This I thought was very comforting as one can imagine. After the surgery, De. Kale explained how the surgery went (since I was still under the influence of medication), he realized I didn’t comprehend everything he said. Next day morning, he reached out to me and explained fully how the surgery went and what to expect in terms of post surgery recovery process and PT involved going forward. The surgical wounds healed quickly in about 4 weeks time and and I do not feel any bumps etc and the sutures blended in the skin. Awesome and precise work done there. Now I am going thru PT and will be seeing Dr. Kale in about few weeks to check on my progress. I highly recommend Dr. Kale with out any reservations. As an FYI, I had my ACL reconstruction and MCL surgery on my left knee with Dr. Kale about two and a half years ago and again was absolutely happy that I went with Dr. Kale and Mission Peak Orthopedics. Lastly, I wouldn’t be doing justice without mentioning the care and concern shown by entire staff at Mission Peak right from my first day of interaction.

Fantastic experience: I started seeing Dr. VanGompel when I broke my foot 3 years ago. From the start he has been very helpful and taken the time to help me through my injury. I finally decided to move forward with surgery to ease constant pain in my foot. The process was very easy. The staff was clear about all steps and procedures and took the time to contact my insurance to see what my payment would be. When surgery day came Dr. VanGompel did a great job and even gave me his cell phone number to contact him if I needed anything. I ended up texting him later to ask for a prescription which he promptly called in for me. I really felt like he was personally interested in my care and recovery. I highly recommend Dr. VanGompel and mission peak orthopaedic.

Negative experience: Such horrible care, I have gotten back injections from this facility twice the first injection given was for the lower part of my back and was pretty decent, it’s slow down my back pain just a little bit although I still have the same excruciating pain towards the end of the night. As far as my second injection went which was the upper part of my spine, I’m having ongoing pain after this injection even more pain that I had before and I also have some nerve type of damage going on which the doctor seems to not be able to find, I’m having burning and tingling sensations that go from my ankles to the back of my calves on a daily basis. The doctor does not want to do nothing he had the nerve to tell me to go get a second opinion somewhere else although there is clear findings of my issues in my MRIs. When I called to speak with the doctor he has his PA call me which doesn’t really care about her patients either, she had the nerve to compare my pain to somebody else my age randomly off of the street. I would definitely go somewhere else if you want some good treatment all this facility wants to do is take minor steps into solving someone’s problem with excruciating pain And they’re so booked up that their appointments are far out

Negative experience: This is the first time I was supposed to visit this clinic to see their Podiatrist. However, I have already experienced poor service from two of their staff who were supposed to send me an email of their Fremont address but did not. If they can't do such a simple request, what more of bigger and more important patient requests later? Therefore, I've decide it's best to just cancel my first visit altogether.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional staff and doctor. I had an appointment scheduled with Dr.Akshay Kale and his office called me 10 minutes before appointment that it's been canceled without any reason. Even the staff was very unprofessional. I ignored all the reviews for the clinic and one should not ignore what people experienced. Save your time and avoid such unprofessionals.

Negative experience: 30 minutes late + misdiagnosing the severity of my problem and the amount billed = I will find a doctor that I can trust.

MY PAIN IS WORSE HE TELLS ME I DONT KNOW WHAT CAUSING YOU PAIN I ASKED HIM IF I COULD HAVE ANOTHER MRI TO FIND OUT...LAST MRI TAKEN WAS WHEN I FRACTURED MY L1. WAY OVER A YR.....INJECTIONS HAS MADE MY PAIN WORSE

Negative experience: PREDATORY BILLING PRACTICES There are other orthopaedic places all over the bay, take your business to one that wont bounce you around with referral after referral all the while charging you $400 per visit.
