I am pleased with the progress I have made to date to recover from my total knee replacement 3 weeks ago. I have a ways to go, but I am confident with Nick’s treatment and the entire ROC downtown Gilbert team’s support I will make a full recovery.

Fantastic experience: Both my husband and I were able to have Miche be out PT. She is excellent. This was my husbands first time and he thought Miche was outstanding. I have been going to Miche for 2 years and would recommend her with 5 stars. She is the best. The PT techs are also awesome.

Negative experience: This place WAS great until the owners lied to the staff & everyone quit. They had 3 PT's & 1 PTA booked solid treating all types of lymphedema. The previous owner (Karen) retired & the guys that own all the ROC locations went back on all their promises to the staff. There was just 3 PT clinics in AZ doing full body lymphedema treatments. Unfortunately, there are now just 2 because the new PT staff isn't trained/certified to treat this specialty. I think the owners of ROC must have been drinking the night they made the decision to screw over the staff. It makes no sense because they had something successful. Now they are starting over with a new staff that only does orthopedic PT. I wish I knew the names of the owners of ROC because I'd call them out for making a really STUPID decision. There are a few new reviews but 95% of the 5 star reviews are for lymphedema PT that they quit treating in January.

His expertise professionalism and dedication are truly commendable. I highly recommend Nick to anyone in need of physical therapy services. Recommend meeting with Luisana she’s a phenomenal tech as well!

Negative experience: Update: This was a fantastic facility for lymphedema and lipedema, however after Karen Bustillo left the practice it all changed. This is no longer an all female practice and the lymphedema program was discontinued. They alerted patients in the middle of treatment in January that they no longer had a specialized therapist joining and left many scrambling to find somewhere to go. Unfortunately this type of treatment is extremely limited in AZ. It's a shame that a lot of the familiar staff left too. It feels like smoke and mirrors on how they promised things would remain the same after Karen left and then it just became a regular PT clinic. And don't get me started on their non-existent billing dept. Three months of constant emails and calls just to get a payment I made on their terrible payment website applied. I was told I would hear back about an updated balance, well that was five months ago. They also run contests between locations to gain reviews from patients so it's not organic feedback. An amazing lymphedema clinic and worth an hour drive! I wish I would have found this facility years ago. The entire staff is friendly and truly cares that you are getting the best treatment for positive results. This location is an all female staff which is helpful for those of us who may be insecure about their disease. If needed they have some private/curtain areas to work on sensitive body areas. The tables you work on are perfect height to sit down on and get up from. They also have workout machines that are helpful to our condition and that I haven't found anywhere else. The therapists use pumps as part of treatment and can help in connecting you to someone to help get your own. I hope the location doesn't change in the future and only continues to improve on what they've built.

Fantastic experience: Best Physical Therapy I have ever had, (lots of knee surgery, finally both replaced and a hip replacement. ) The don't just work your knee., they work all joints in the same limb. Makes tremendous difference.

Fantastic experience: My experience at ROC - Bustillo Physical Therapy has been a wonderful. I recently had both of my hips replaced and my physician recommended PT to get my strength back and my gait back to normal. My PT Nicholas Griffith had been amazing in my rehabilitation. I also can’t say enough about the staff. Luisana and Celeste are dedicated and make sure everything is well explained. What a positive experience I have had with this incredible team of professionals at ROC! Special thank you to Nick for his expertise and helping me through my rehab. THE PT OFFERED BY MEDICARE LEFT LOTS TO BE DESIRED. MY SON-IN-LAW WAS WORKING WITH ROC PHYSICAL THERAPY AND SAID COME JOIN ME YOU WILL LIKE THEM. I AM WORKING WITH MICHE NAKATA PT DPT. SHE DID A GOOD ASSESSMENT OF MY ABILITIES AND DESIGNED A PROGRAM TO MEET MY INDIVIDUAL NEEDS. MICHE IS WITH YOU ONE ON ONE THE WHOLE TIME YOU ARE THERE. SHE IS ASSESSING YOUR FOOT POSITION YOUR POSTURE YOUR BODY ALIGNMENT AND MAKING CORRECTIONS SO YOU DO THE EXERCISES RIGHT. I'M 80 YEARS OLD AND I DON'T WANT TO EXERCISE, BUT I DO, AND I HAVE FUN GOING TO ROC BECAUSE WE LAUGH AND JOKE AND THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND OUTGOING AND WE YAK AND GRUNT AND GROAN AND THE HOUR FLYS BY AND THE WEEK FLYS BY AND YOU CAN SEE YOUR PROGRESS. THANKS SO MUCH TO MICHE AND THE ROC STAFF FOR ALL THEIR HELP AND SUPPORT AND FRIENDSHIP.

Fantastic experience: I sprained my ankle five years ago and never treated it. It recovered, but it was never fully healed. Recently, I sprained the same ankle, and this time I’ve been seeing the doctor and doing physical therapy. While I’m still in the process of recovering, it feels like, once I’m done, it will be better than it ever has been since my first injury.

Fantastic experience: I was very reluctant to go to physical therapy because my shoulder hurt so much that I was afraid of what would be done. Would it hurt more, what could I do to help myself, what could I expect during and after each treatment? Miche answered all of these and was gracious in answering them more than once. A big callout to Trish for keeping me scheduled and knowing my schedule. My sister uses this location for all of her PT needs and I can see now why she says this place is like a second home and everyone here is like family.

Fantastic experience: ROC Physical Therapy/Bustillo Physical Therapy is the perfect place to come if you have Lymphedema, as I do. They specialize in the treatment of this mostly ignored condition. Most, if not all of the therapists have more higher education than most because they are a large part of the treatment of a condition that has no cure. When they are hired at ROC/Bustillo, the real hands-on training begins given by Karen Bustillo. In my many years of coming here, I have observed that Karen is a true leader & teacher who willingly gives of her experience & knowledge so that those who work with her know & practice what she taught them; then they keep growing in practices & skill together! They treat every patient with kindness, knowledgeable treatment, & laughter. There is no doubt or darkness here - only positive thoughts that supports the patient to keep moving forward. True teamwork exists at ROC/Bustillo expertly led by Karen Bustillo.

Fantastic experience: I’ve never been to physical therapy before and I go now for the lymphedema clinic for lower limb lymphedema that I’ve had my whole life but was just recently diagnosed. I was skeptical in the beginning to say the least but wanted to give it the best chance I could. I LOVE physical therapy! I love the employees who are so friendly! Always greet me with a smile and maybe a funny story. Dr. Karen and the staff always are willing to answer the endless questions that I always have. After dealing with health issues over the last few years, I was in constant pain in my arm and shoulder. I saw improvements after my very first session with ROC. I have a long road of recovery ahead of me, but the staff at ROC/Bustillo makes me feel as though I'm not facing this challenge by myself. They are patient, kind and encouraging. Every single staff member goes out of their way to make me feel welcome, and I have worked with almost all of them at this point. You can tell by the atmosphere that this is a team practice, and patient care is the number goal of everyone. I cannot recommend them enough!!

Fantastic experience: 5-STAR FOR SURE!!! The lymphatic massages and the PT really did help my condition. After discovering I have irritable bowel disease (IBD), I had retained so much water, my lymphnodes were not expelling the water out of my body properly. ROC corrected that within a few weeks. Everyone is so nice and very professional. Karen is very knowledgeable and has been there for 20+ years. I apologize for not remembering everyone else's name, but trust me, they are very good at what they do. And of course, you're welcomed by one of the most gracious and sweetest ladies at the desk. I highly recommend ROC Physical Therapy to anyone with not just injuries, but recovering from surgeries, and to all diabetics and pre-diabetics. Their lymphatic massages, and their PT exercises really work to get blood flow moving and expelling extra water from your body. Thank you, ROC, for helping me.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Miche for a few weeks now and she and the staff here are wonderful! The exercises she prescribed me have already made a difference. I started bringing my son as well so she could not only help with his pain issues but strengthen him for sports. I really like the app because it helps me to remember my home exercise assignments and how long they will take.
