We provide fast, economical, reliable and advanced techniques for treating pain and injuries.
Dr. Jeff has completed a large number of endurance events, including 9 Ironman Triathlons, the World's Toughest Mudder 24-hour Obstacle Race, GORUCK Tough, Train To Hunt, and the Escape from Alcatraz triathlon. His personal experience of pushing his body to its limits and being injured has given him a special point of view on the physical and mental requirements of endurance sports.
By exercising your nervous system, you can likely reduce discomfort, increase your flexibility, make everyday tasks easier, and even enhance your athletic abilities if you put in the effort.
Jeff Banas and his team are excellent. Unlike other chiropractors who try to pressure you into buying expensive treatment plans by showing you videos and giving you pamphlets, this is not the case here. You can get adjusted and get back to your normal activities such as exercising, playing sports, or just living your life. I had a back injury on Saturday morning and was able to get an appointment with them at 10:30 that same day, even though it was a Saturday. I highly recommend them to you. - Preston
Banas Sports Therapy, Rehab & Physical Medicine: Reviews
Fantastic experience: I am 67 years old, and I have been associated with Dr. Banas for over 25 years. I am currently working with him on strength training and general physical fitness growth. His methods are very specific to what I need, and he always suggests new therapies to try, while adjusting and changing the exercises he has me do. I find specific benefit to his use of the ARX machine with specific focus on eccentric movements. Interval training and therapy with his Phoenix Wave Form stim system has also resulted in healing and other benefits. He listens and is quick to offer suggestions and advice. He has been a trusted advisor for many years.
Thanks Karl. It has been a pleasure working with you over the years
Fantastic experience: I have been competing with many injuries for a long time, with the help of Dr Jeff Banas and his crew I have been on the quick road to recovery, and cannot wait to return to the battle field an entirely different competitor.. Thanks
Thanks Dan. Love doing the events with you
Fantastic experience: Dr Banas helps me deal with near constant pain in my leg. I get pain in my leg and back pretty consistently, and he is able to make it easier to deal with, so I can live more normally. I don't like the idea of taking pain pills, so using adjustments has really helped me. Thank you Dr Banas.
Glad we could help Kristy
Fantastic experience: Very knowledgeable about doing appropriate exam, evaluation and treatment plan. I'm confident that I will soon be back to regular activities especially pickleball!
Thank you Sue
Negative experience: I'm really disappointed at the lack of service. My husband and I attempted to schedule an exercise test but they cancelled and had to reschedule 2x back to back. The first one I understood, as things do come up last minute. We rescheduled for the following week, same day and time. Then last minute , he cancelled (due to software updates) and then proceeded to say " I don't blame you if you choose to go somewhere else." There was no attempt to reschedule!! I responded asking if there was any assistance he could provide i,.e. small discount for the inconvenience, a referral to someone else perhaps, or even being more flexible with the scheduling . No response!!!! Folks, don't waste your time . It's a bummer because as a former athlete, I was reallllly looking forward to doing the exercise test with him. But the fact that he wasn't apologetic, nor even attempted to fix the wrong of cancelling on me TWICE last minute is really disappointing .
Deserae Blanco, running a physical medical practice during the global virus pandemic, when non-essential medical procedures are postponed and gyms and businesses are closed, and people are told to avoid contact with other people has been challenging. For the health and safety of our patients, the number of people we see during the day has been greatly reduced. As a practice, it is necessary for our patients coming to reduce contact with other patients. We are also diligent in disinfecting and cleaning the office in-between patients, which cuts down on schedule availability. In some cases, when patients are in need of urgent or essential care, this too has resulted in a delay or rescheduling of other patient appointments. We do realize that rescheduling an appointment causes an inconvenience, and we apologize for that (but it was necessary to reschedule your exercise test so we could see someone who had a more urgent need). The second reschedule was out of our hands, and we did our best to inform you as soon as we became aware of the situation. During this World -Wide virus pandemic, the number of exercises being performed has been greatly reduced. Our practice is trying to limit exposure to the virus and the exercise tests that you were scheduled for involved the person running hard on a treadmill, breathing hard, and sweating a lot. The company that analyzes the data for our exercise test updated their software during the time that your test was scheduled. It was unfortunate that it occurred during business hours, and your scheduled appointment time. We were entering in the data for your upcoming test when we found out we could not do the test because the software was down. We emailed you as soon as we found out that we would need to reschedule, and we did apologize for the reschedule.Actual Email: "Deserae, I really hate to do this again but I need to reschedule tonight's test. I was getting everything cleaned up and ready for the test but then the software did an update and I am having some problems with the up date. I'm trying to get everything working but I would rather run a few tests with the updated software to make sure everything is working properly before I do a "real" test on a client. Sorry for another inconvenience."At that time I did not make an attempt to reschedule, because as stated in my email I needed some time to run a few tests with the new software so I knew everything was running right and I did not know when that would be. Deserae, I do truly apologize for any inconvenience rescheduling these two appointments for the exercise test has caused you.
Fantastic experience: Dr Banas is very friendly and knowledgeable. The quality of service is excellent.
Thank you Jordan
Fantastic experience: Dr. Banas may be the best sports therapist in the valley. He incorporates a lot of different techniques for therapy. To notch chiropractor to boot
Appreciate the 5 stars CJ
Fantastic experience: I did the ARX training today. It was OUTSTANDING! ARX is truly the exercise technology of the future. I can't wait to use the ARX with the Oxygen Therapy.
Barbara, thanks so much for the support. It's great that you're such a fan of ARX training. We want all our patients to feel like the regimens they are working on are doing the job. If you need anything at all, just let us know. -Jeff B., Business Owner
Fantastic experience: Myself and my wife have been to Dr Banas facility. Vicki and Dr are really very help and nice to work with. LiveO2 system they have is doing wonderful improvements including clearing brain fog and making thinking very clear. Thank you.
We really appreciate the support from our community, so hearing this from you and your wife really made my day. If there's anything Vicki and I can do, certainly let us know. I hope you and your family enjoy a happy holiday season. -Jeff B., Business Owner
Fantastic experience: Jeff Banas and his team are great, I've been to chiropractors that make you watch videos and read pamphlets about stuff so they can sell you a expensive treatment plan and this is not that type of place! You come and and get adjusted and you and get you back to working out/playing sports or just normal everyday life. I threw my back out at Saturday at 10am and I was able to call and come in at 1030 the same day on a Saturday! It’s awesome to have team like that and I would highly recommend them to you!
Thanks Preston. I'm glad we were able to get you back exercising.
Fantastic experience: I have known Dr. Banas for 10 years now. He and his staff have been nothing less than phenomenal on every level! Dr. Banas has a superior knowledge of sports and back injuries - and how to heal them, successful weight-loss, mind-blowing strength building - with assistance from his ARX Machine - a M U S T try for anyone (call and let awesome Vickie schedule you a free demo), and excellent endurance training. Dr. Banas uses his masterful expertise to help everyone that walks into his office. No matter my schedule, his office has been flexible to meet my last-minute personal time constraints and availability. Unlike most doctors who may take days off and extremely long "lunch breaks" during the week to go golfing, Dr. Banas and his staff utilize their lunch breaks to run, bike, and train. There is no better doctor in Dr. Banas who can talk to you about injury, obesity, or training because he has experienced it and he continually improves himself. So, if you are tired of going to an out-of-shape doctor who can't run 100 yards who gives you pain medicine to solve your bodily ailments and tells you to exercise more, I implore you to call Dr. Banas and see that what I have said is absolutely TRUE!
Thanks for the review Ken and AWESOME job finishing the Ironman!
Fantastic experience: I've been looking for a short, powerful, effective workout for years. Jeff has many hi-tech modalities like the Beemer and ARX, that we can see is giving me the exact results I've been looking for. Thank you Jeff!!!
Thanks Alden. Keep killing those ARX workouts!
Fantastic experience: Hey. I swam and played water polo in high school, but the most swimming that I had really done over the last 30 years was eating peaches in the shallow-end at home on Saturday mornings with my family. In October of 2011, I wanted to teach my daughters that they can tackle challenges beyond what they believe they can. It just takes determination. In January of 2012, I searched for and found Jeff as I was looking for a Certified USA Triathlon Coach. I told Jeff of my dream/purpose. He took me seriously and put me through a series of fitness and blood tests. And, I had my heart, shoulders and lungs checked with specialists. Then, over a span of roughly 100 days, despite asthma and years working at desks, he actively coached me by providing me with daily workout regimens, supplement advice and even PATIENTLY SWIMMING WITH ME AT CANYON LAKE to prepare me for a personal goal/milestone swim. In mid-May, Jeff took me for one last swim, wished me luck and over Memorial Day weekend in 2012, I traveled to San Francisco where my family watched me swim from Alcatraz Island to the shore. A lot of people do this, but without a steady, responsive and interested coach, I believe that I would not have. My only regret is not supporting him by posting this sooner. Thanks Jeff.
Thanks Brad. Congrats on swimming from Alcatraz!
