Fantastic experience: I have had 5 spine surgeries over the years and I came to Sonoran for a second opinion and I give all thanks to God I had done so. In 25 years I have never felt like my opinion mattered in any way and I never had been included in making decisions or told in depth in terms I could understand until I met Dr. Datta. I will know on Monday how good he is at the surgery when he fuses me from T10 to my pelvis. I have great trust in him and in the team at Sonoran.

He saw Dr. Alec Sundet. We loved him. He has the same philosophy as Dr. Crandall…surgery is the last resort. He spent a lot of time with us and answered all our questions. Once again we are very happy with Sonoran Spine Center.

Negative experience: Was difficult to get a call back when I had state insurance, insurance ended and so did all communication. My spine still had multiple compound fractures but I guess care for people is not a priority insured or not. Would not recommend.

Negative experience: Had an appointment with Gina for a video visit 1st time where she was over an hour late and then lied on her report saying she couldn’t get ahold of me because I was in another dr appointment. They told me to call her back after I was done since she was already late to my appointment. Second video visit was worst !!! Was over an hour late the. Had the audacity to keep rolling her eyes at me and being extremely rude to the point where I had to tell her to stop … her excuse ..” I’m upset that my computer isn’t working “ while the whole time she’s giving me attitude having another provider help saying “ that’s what I’m trying to tell whenright … it’s just this and that “ front office schedulers are rude as well . This office needs some time management and office ethics training …dr datta was amazing but regardless of how amazing he is it’s not worth dealing with the rest of his staff … his ma even put everything on my 10 month old daughters portal instead of mine ….my daughter has never had to see a spinal dr and being so young as well . I can not stress how unorganized this office is

I was examined by the PA and we discussed my symptoms and whe.n the x-rays were received the PA explained what the exrays showed and we then discussed treatment. A prescription was called in to my pharmacy and a PT facility was identified and I was on my way. Couldn't have ask for a better experience. However, I need to make another appointment due to the recurring back pain.

Negative experience: This applies strictly to the scheduler and Matthew Duske, who is a PA and never should have been assigned to me in the first place.I needed to see an MD from the start. That is why I think the scheduler must shoulder some of the blame. I went in June 2022 because I was healing from a burst vertebrae and fractured pelvis, which happened in January. Although I should have been healed I still had excruciating pain in the left hip. Duske told me, after a cursory exam, that it was definitely not my SI joint, which a physical therapist had suggested. So for the last five months I have endured pain at a Level 9-10 because Duske failed to diagnose the dislocated left SI joint.

Fantastic experience: Best place for treating all problems relating to your spine. Kudos to Dr Pal and her caring staff. Appointments always handled in a timely manner and if you need surgery Dr Datta is the one you want.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Datta is a good surgeon & his bed side manner and the time he takes to explain how he is going to proceed with your problem is so important to make sure you feel at ease. I have had the pleasure of working with him on a prior surgery and he was very good at it.

Fantastic experience: I’m so pleased with the results of my laminectomy. For follow ups I see Dr Dattas PA , Daniela Pal. She is awesome and looks at the whole person and other issues which may impact your health. I would recommend this practice highly!

Fantastic experience: If your having spine issues there isnt a better place to place your safety and trust in. Dr. Jason Datta and Danielle Pal are exceptional and masters of their craft. They are caring and understanding of your health issues and will give you straight honest options to improve your health. I had artificial disc replacement surgery with Dr . Datta and it has saved my life. This practice is highly recommended and staffed from A to Z with exceptional staff.

Fantastic experience: I have not had to visit Sonoran Spine since the merge and wasn't sure what to expect. From the front desk to the nurse and PA, it was a wonderful experience. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. The PA (Matthew) was very thorough and did a very good job of checking everything and answering any questions I had. Also, the nurse with the sharp needle did a wonderful job. She was right, she is the beat. Thanks again!

Fantastic experience: Once again when I come to Dr. Waldrop with a back pain problem he is aware of what I have already had done and what my issues are. He gets to the point and has a plan to move forward with to resolve the problems.

Fantastic experience: I was treated almost like I was VIP! Came in one day and surgery the next! I had needed surgery and was going to have to wait for EVER but he saw me and wanted to immediately help! It was the best thing for me at the time.

Fantastic experience: Dr Waldrop is my hero. This time last year I could not stand up straight. Had my first checkup at three weeks post surgery. Had no pain - felt like a new back. You will not be sorry you chose Dr. Waldrop as your surgeon. And I should also share that his staff is incredible - they did not miss a beat with my expedited surgery. Made sure I got all tests and pre- screenings done in the 10 days they had before the operation. I appreciate everyone of them. Donna, age 72.

However when you have a doctor like Dr. Andrew Chung the process becomes less frustrating. Dr. Chung has paid great attention to the issues I have been having. I felt like after seeing him I left with confidence and a better peace of mind that I won't be feeling like this forever with the treatment plan we came up with. Very professional and had my issue in his best interest to see I was going to resolve my pain issues. Explaining in detail what I had done and how to fix/manage the recovery process. Fantastic experience: Of all the docs my husband has seen as a result of his back and neck pain, Dr. Waldrop has been the absolute BEST! He is thorough with his explanations, is patient and thoughtful when answering our many questions. His language and vocabulary make everything he says easy to understand and accept. His recommendations are concise and clear. My only regret is that he isn't a primary care physician and we can't work with him on any and everything we might need from a doc.

Negative experience: This will be a long review so I hope you're willing to take the time to read it. I've been dealing with lower back pain that radiates down both my legs. The right being the worse of the two. The pain will become so bad I can't move, no amount of ice, heat, or pain mess will do anything. Over the years I've tried Chiropractic therapy, physical therapy, massages, acupuncture, epidural steroid injections, purchasing inversion tables etc. Nothing took the pain away. Only helped me tolerate it more. Anyway the past two months have never been worse. I went to see a specialist in Scottsdale and he recommended endoscopic lumbar disectamy. Because I have a herniated disc that's hitting my sciatic nerve. He said it's minimal invasive and very effective . Unfortunately this Dr was out of network for my insurance. So, I call sonoran spine and just had my appointment I tell him everything I've tried over the years and nothing had worked and I'm in constant pain. So what did he do? He orders me more injections and prescription strength ibuprofen. You know. The thing I've been doing for 4 years
