Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Hulst Jepsen in Kentwood to help with your physical therapy needs. Amy was my therapist and did an amazing job with recommending stretching exercises to do at home in addition to the ones I did during my sessions with her. She also manipulated my shoulder to increase flexibility. All of the staff work together as a team to make sure you move along from one exercise to the next as well as checking on how you are doing. I felt respected, cared for and valued. I am extremely happy with the results of recovery from my frozen shoulder and would not hesitate to go back to Hulst Jepsen in Kentwood if the need arises.

Sarah is professional kind and sympathetic when I go in I know when I leave I am going to feel better when I first start going here I could barely walk and was in extreme pain by the time Sarah work with me I am now able to walk a lot further the people that also work with the physical therapist are also kind and professional I have and will always recommend this place if you are having any problems with back and leg pain.

Fantastic experience: The help and care provided cannot be expressed through words. So much dedication by everyone in the center and my Therapist (Amy) is really great. She is very encouraging and motivating in every step of recovery both mentally and physically. I am so grateful and thankful from Bottom of my heart . I hope to get my leg back to its original form.

Negative experience: DON'T GO HERE! The first physical therapist I had didn't know how to treat my injury, didn't show me how to do the exercises or let me try them, instead directing me to the website. As a result, I got injured. I had to fight to switch therapists. The second was a bit better at first. But after the first appointment, I saw him for only 5-10 min at subsequent appointments. He pushed me off on PT techs, who didn't pay attention to me and barely showed me how to do the exercises, which caused me to get injured AGAIN! This all happened in a span of about 2 weeks. Needless to say, I didn't go back.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Hulst Jepsen physical therapy for a bit over a month now. I go two times a week. I've been very impressed with the entire experience from the intake process to my therapy sessions and communication about home exercises.

I couldn't have been more satisfied! They were sensitive to my issues, and proceeded with caution. I now participate in all the activities that I choose to, except for riding. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at HJ over the past 5 years. Always very professional and knowledgeable about what was needed to relieve my pain and restore function. Excellent teaching also on what I could do at home to maintain mobility and health. I have come to believe that physical therapists have the knowledge and expertise to address and treat almost any ailment you might have. The use of visual aids to show me what is causing my problems, and the printout sheets and online app with exercises is so helpful too. Joel and Marium at the Kentwood location have been outstanding therapists, but I also can observe the excellent work of all the staff and appreciate the caring and friendly atmosphere. Fantastic experience: I suffered from hip pain for years. I thought my hips were bad. My doctor suggested some physical therapy and I was referred to Hulst Jepsen. I was fortunate to get Sarah Johnson as my physical therapist. She discovered that my hip flexors were shortened and very tight which was the cause of my pain. She worked with me on various stretches and exercises to loosen them up. Within a few short weeks my pain has almost completely disappeared. As long as I stay consistent with my stretching I don’t notice any more pain or tightness. I can’t say enough about how wonderful she was to work with. She is knowledgeable and compassionate. Because of her I went from years of suffering to feeling normal again. I highly recommended Hulst Jepsen and especially Sarah at the Kentwood office!

Fantastic experience: I very much appreciate their quality of care and also, equally important, their welcoming environment. I’ve always felt happy going to this PT office ... it sure makes the PT easier to do continuously when you enjoy yourself! I also appreciate learning and having a conversation regarding my care and my treatment plan. I would say this is the most receptive and caring group of providers I’ve found in this field and that I truly enjoy going to PT.

Fantastic experience: After my 1st foot surgery I found this location to complete my physical therapy. I fell in love with the location at my first evaluation. Marium took the time to listen to my story, my issues, listen to me cry, and off real solutions and goals. Everyone is so personable, they have real conversations with you, and treat you more like a friend than a patient. I have had 2 foot surgeries, 1 ankle surgery, and Knee surgery since my first time. Fantastic experience: This is one of the best places you could go for Physical Therapy. All of the therapists really care about their patients and getting them better and healthy. I have seen more than one PT here and they are all so friendly and helpful. The assistants that they have helping out in the main room are all great, very pleasant and friendly, and do a good job taking care of the patients. I've been treated in different ways here as well - traditional PT, ART techniques, dry needling. I would highly recommend this facility.

Fantastic experience: GOLD STAR: I ventured into the Kentwood location, as Hulst Jepsen supported my son's travel baseball team and I figured that I'd give them a shot. This was my 4th ACL surgery and rehab, so I knew the drill and knew what I was getting into. What I didn't know is that I was getting a professional, friendly and enthusiastic staff that didn't only want me to be there, but they wanted to get me out of there (once totally ready!). My PT Marium Groth, totally understood me from the moment I walked in. She knew I was motivated to get well and do what it took to get back on the path to performance. We pushed each other through every workout. She customized my sessions with new ideas and options. I'd highly recommend HJ to anyone. I've been around the block and have seen a lot of PT folks over the years, but HJ is the real deal and totally care personally about who they treat. I was NEVER a number... I was a name and a patient that mattered and was cared for... and that is why I am back in the game! Marium, you are a hero, motivator and special friend.
