We previously did physical therapy two times in just over one year for the same issue. Laura figured out the cause within three or four visits! Fantastic experience: I previously saw Laura for my shoulder when I worked in Grand Rapids. Even though I no longer work in that city, I still made the 50 minute drive to see her when I was injured in a car accident. She is knowledgeable, kind, honest, and works WITH you. The support staff is also wonderful and works very hard to work with your schedule. I cannot recommend Laura enough.

Laura, Victoria and Jake are wonderful people that maintain the highest level of professionalism while dialing the positive energy and sense of humor to 11. Laura is very efficient in finding your cause of issue, formulate a plan and stick to it, and NEVER lose track of you no matter how many people are in the building (I was very impressed). Also she is very funny. Victoria is always smiling and ready to provide support. Jake is great in providing support and workout instructions, he is very friendly while still being professional. My recovery on the knees were pretty intense toward the end, but I never got bored because we were chatting and laughing here and there all the time. I had a fantastic time there and my knee got well as the result. Cannot be happier.

Fantastic experience: I came to athletico with awful hip/groin pain that I thought I was just going to have to live with in some capacity. After a couple weeks with Laura, the pain is entirely gone and I was given exercises to keep said pain away. The staff and facilities are amazing and I HIGHLY recommend athletico, Laura especially, to anyone looking for physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: I rarely leave reviews, but I would definitely recommend Scott to anyone needing PT. He genuinely cares for everyone that walks through the door and will do everything he can to help. He also creates a very positive and motivating atmosphere, I always looked forward to my appointments. The facility, scheduling and service was all very seamless. I am very thankful to be safely back to normal activity just two months after surgery. Scott is top notch!

Fantastic experience: My family has had a couple instances of seeking care at the Athletico in Cascade. My mom was very impressed by service she received, so when one of my school-age children had need for an assessment, we sought care there as well. It was great how there was no rush, lots of listening, discussion, and individualized feedback. We left with a plan and extra peace of mind. The facility itself also seemed quite clean and organized. No complaints at all. Would definitely go back.

I felt bad. I called Athletico and they got me in within 2 hours and provided a vertigo therapy. I felt better immediately and was able to resume my daily activities. Thank you Scott!! Fantastic experience: Scott and Karol (PT student) were absolutely amazing providers. Scott showed genuine interest in my story and care from the start. He always brought an upbeat attitude to visits, and his passion for helping patients was always obvious. He created a wonderful healing environment that promoted patient interaction in each step of care. As a medical student, it was also great to see the way he treated Karol. He allowed him to take charge of our sessions, without micromanaging, but was also always readily available to answer questions for us both. Overall, the commitment they both demonstrated in helping me get back to pain free activity was empowering. I would suggest Scott and Athletico to my friends, family, and anyone looking to get the highest quality physical therapy they can find. My only critique is that Scott deserves a new ice machine. It was disappointing to see someone that works so hard not have adequate access to all the basic resources he needs, such as a high quality ice machine that he needs for almost all of patients. After finishing this last session, I couldn’t be more thankful for my entire experience and look forward to continuing to heal with the individualized home program they built for my continued recovery. I wish them both the best going forward!

After 10 months of PT at another place, after my rotator cuff repair surgery and still very little use of my arm, Athletico then determined it was my shoulder blade that was causing the issue with my arm!! Fantastic experience: I've recently completed a few months of physical therapy with Rebecca. My experience this year was very similar to what I enjoyed 5 years ago. The best part is the way I was treated like a human being. I was not just a cog in a machine. Rebecca took time to ask questions and tailor my treatments based on my need rather than simply following the corporate play book. As a result, my doctor enthusiastically exclaimed that mine was the best ankle fusion recovery he can remember. The bottom line is that I whole-heartedly recommend Athletico. I am so grateful to have received personalized treatment in an environment with kind, helpful and caring people.

Fantastic experience: I have had knee problems for years and it has caused me to avoid many activities I enjoy. After being recommended to this Athletico location by their team member Claire, she told me about the opportunity to get a free assessment (yes, it’s actually free with no hidden fees). It was very convenient to set up an appointment time and they got me in easily with short notice. While waiting and completing brief paperwork, the Patient Experience Coordinator Catie was very approachable and friendly at the front desk. Scott completed an assessment on my knee by asking my history, aggravating factors, guiding me through various movements to see how I tolerated them, and observing/feeling how my body responded to specific movements. The assessment didn’t take long and he clearly explained what he suspected was wrong, exercises to avoid, exercises that would help, and his long term plan for me. Within a few hours, he texted me an exercise plan to help me strengthen my hip flexors. The exercises were conveniently on an app with descriptions and example videos with proper form. He also followed up with me over email to ensure I received the exercises and even offered me equipment I need for the exercises. I completed the exercises and it felt great to finally be back to strength training without feeling knee pain! If you’re thinking about going to this Athletico to figure out and resolve a problem you’ve been having, I definitely recommend it.

Fantastic experience: When I transitioned to Grand Rapids several months ago, I needed a new physical therapist and thankfully I was able to get an appointment with Scott Snyder. He is by far the best physical therapist I’ve been too. He is knowledgeable in anatomy and is able to explain concern areas in layman terms that are easily understood. He sets goals and timely treatment plans. For the first time in a long time, I am confident that I will have a full recovery because of Scott!

Fantastic experience: This location is great! Scott and his team were friendly, listened to all questions and concerns I had. I went in for an evaluation and left that day with knowledge of what is causing some need pain and solutions to address it. Since then, I’ve incorporated the recommended exercises. They have reduced pain and strengthened my knee in ways I wasn’t previously accomplishing at the gym on my own. I will be headed here for any future help!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Athletico (Cascade) physical therapy by my surgeon. I originally was referred there last year in June for an Achilles rupture. I can say I was a little hesitant about going to this location due to distance, but I heard and read many great things about this young PT man name Scott Snyder. So I gave in and came to the Cascade location. Best decision ever!! He is a great guy, funny and knows his stuff. If your having a bad day Scott will do what he can to brighten up your mood. The staff there is every welcoming. Catie is always doing an amazing job and is alway on top of job.She alway has a beautiful smile when you come into the door. Scheduling is alway flexible and they will work with you. I would recommend going to Athletico (Cascade) to everyone I know (including my dogs lol) NO they don't see dogs.

Fantastic experience: Just graduated from Athletico after a 4 week therapy session for hip issue that would cause back spasms. Josie on the desk was very good at handling my comings and goings and Scott, my therapist, had an excellent grasp of my problem and the necessary exercises. stretches, and manipulations, that got me on track for healing in the area. I left with a plan and a good feeling that my improvement would continue.

Prior to seeing Scott, I had been in and out of various PT places without seeing results. 5 weeks into working with Scott, my arms feels back to normal. Fantastic experience: Found this place online and decided to take my dad for a consultation on his leg pain. Scott Snyder, who is the physical therapist / facility manager was the one that examined my dad. I was so very impressed with his work. I had explained what symptoms my dad was having and the history of when this whole leg pain started. Scott examined my dad and told us his thoughts on it and made sure we both understood. He gave us a lot of good information/guidance as to what our next step should be to treat him. Scott really went above and beyond! Overall, my dad and I were very happy we went ! Thanks Scott !

Josey the Office Coordinator is wonderful and efficient. I have been healing up really well thanks to them. My time at Athletico was not only super effective, but I really enjoyed going as well!

Fantastic experience: Is it possible to rate more than five stars? I was super pleased and felt that the staff, especially Scott knew their information and helped me greatly in my recovery from terrible triad (torn ACL, meniscus, and MCL). Year later I injured my other knee and I called Athletico to see Scott again. He came through again and I am doing much better. Scott is very friendly, very knowledgeable, and a professional at his job. I really appreciate everything everyone at Athletico Grand Rapids Cascade has done for me and to help me during both of my visits. THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF!!! Fantastic experience: Overall great PT experience! Scott and Peggy were very professional and courteous. They were very flexible with my travel schedule so I was able to maintain 2-3X per week. I had ACL surgery in March, was cleared to play sports in June and was able to pass Athletico's return to sport Levels 1, 2 and 3 within 6 months. Scott developed a great excerise plan specific to my surgery/injury to strengthened my legs using perfect form. I truly believe he helped me take off 3 months of recovery time! Fantastic experience: When I walked into Athletico, I had a nearly useless arm, following proximal fracture of the humerus and surgical repair. I need physical therapy and Athletico was recommended. The managing physical therapist, Scott, talked to me about my goals and developed a plan for gradual, steady progress. After about two and a half months, I had regained 90% of previous mobility and substantial strength. Scott, Peggi, and all those I met at Athletico, were professional, knowledgable and supportive at all times. They communicated well, with both me and my surgeon, and I can’t thank them enough. Athletico is a clean, bright facility and the entire staff is smart and well-trained—they are THE best!!

All the staff here somehow manage to make physical therapy fun and enjoyable, and really care about how you're feeling/progressing along. Best of all, people bring in snacks all the time so you can always end a session with a nice treat :)

Fantastic experience: I have now used this facility twice for two separate reasons. Both times the front counter staff were friendly, polite, and looked to work around my crazy schedule to accommodate my availability. Additionally, the trainer Scott was a wealth of knowledge, easy to work with, and most importantly resolved the problem I was in for. I would recommend this facility to my family, friends, and anyone else who asked. Finally, if need arose, I would return for their services.

Negative experience: Cost alert! Please beware if you do not have great insurance - I have a very high deductible, and ended up paying the entire cost myself. The cost was more than double what I would have paid at another local PT provider with self-pay. The receptionist and PT were nice enough/fine, but the cost is exhorbitant.

Fantastic experience: After many failed attempts at rehabilitating my shoulder, working with the most well known facilities in my town, I finally found Athletico. For the first time, the therapists at Athletico got to the root of my problems. Brad discovered what was wrong with my shoulder, which was a huge relief in itself for me, but then also helped me to quickly relieve the pain and poor posture that had been plaguing me for far too long. I am now back to lifting weights and all the activities that I had been missing for too long. All the staff there are incredible and it is a joy to be there. Very friendly atmosphere. Brad is the best, and you have got to see him!

I work with people for a living, and yet I was amazed at how I watched them connect so well with every age demographic and recovery that walked through the door. Oh, and my knee recovered quickly from my (2nd) ACL reconstruction surgery so win win. God forbid I need to do any physical therapy anytime soon again, but if I do I know where I'm going.
