Negative experience: I had surgery in 2020 during Covid for carpal tunnel on my left and right hand. However, recently, I have found out that the surgery was not successful because I have to undergo the same surgery again, but it is going to be open, not closed or TCTR. Apparently the surgery did not successfully treat my problem because I have to have carpal tunnel done again at Saint Mary’s under another hand surgeon, and I also have cubital tunnel as well, which really complicates things with me being able to do what I need to do which is take care of myself and anything else that I would like to do in the house do not go here. You will not get what you need.

He is thorough, kind, knowledgeable, and always interested in my status and health progress. I originally was referred to him for acupuncture after knee surgery, and am very thankful I was introduced to an alternative approach for pain management. Fantastic experience: I have had injections from Dr Guo for a couple years and it has been without pain. Also staff is very kind.

Fantastic experience: I have severe pain in many areas. Alot of muscoskeletal issues. Every issue has been rectified as they appear. I can't say enough and highly recommend this clinic. Several pain spots I thought I would have to live with are now under control. I met with the PA to diagnose the trouble spots and then return in a short while to see the Dr. All of my procedures are ultrasound guided and thus the trouble area is spot on and not just in the general area. I've built a rapport and feel comfortable knowing they have control of my pain issues.

Negative experience: I'd drive a hour to the doctor's office and he'd spend under 10 minutes with me and not listen to my concerns or explain things I didn't understand. This happened 3 times. I spent 6 hours driving for less than 30 minutes of his time. If I could have found a specialist in my area I wouldn't have wasted my time.

Negative experience: I had a severe spinal cord injury in 2009. I had a failed cervical spine surgery and was seen here at the pain clinic. I have a complicated spine due to my injuries and numerous surgeries, and deaf in my left ear. The Dr here told me this as he left my exam room. Pointing his index finger to his head saying "that's where your pain is"!!! This is disgusting and awful for any Dr to say to anyone!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had my gallbladder out over a year ago. I still have extreme pain in that area. My gallbladder was not failing, it was over active. After countless doctor appointments, scans, and thousands of dollars in medical bills I was sent to a pain management doctor. I am not going to lie, I was terrified they were going to throw pain pills at me and tell me to leave. It was the complete opposite today! The doctor listened to my concerns from beginning to end. He knew exactly what I needed just from reading my chart. He didn't cut me off mid-conversation. He let me explain everything. He then explained what he was going to do, an injection in my stomach. I was terrified, shaking terrified, on the verge of a panic attack terrified. He was so kind and explained every step as he did it. I go back next week for another injection and I'm honestly SO impressed. His nurse was PHENOMENAL as well!! Moral of the story. I'm glad I ended up going. Can't believe I had to wait this long. ❤️

Fantastic experience: Nurses are responsive and polite. Dr guo is amazing and actually cares. Thread carpel tunnel I got my left hand done on the 26th of april and he did a amazing job. You will be sore for the first two days. I kept moving my hand to get the strength back and by day 3 I was able to cut veggies and zip jacket. The swelling is gone after two days. It just feels sensitive to lift heavy things still but definitely way faster healing then the typical surgery. My hand does not fall asleep at night now and I plan to get my right hand done in a few weeks when my kids are done with school. Thank you Dr guo

Negative experience: I have been going to Baycare pain management for 4 years on and off. Tried to set up an appointment for a lumbar injection for severe sciatic pain. Requested a call back 3 times in one week to set up an appointment and talk to a PA since the Dr was on vacation and was told the other partners aren't taking new patients?? No call back in 4 days. I am done giving Baycare money.

Negative experience: If your looking for pain management do not go here. I have been dealing with ankylosing spondylitis and may other health issues for over three years now. I have tried so many different drugs that do not work . Either they make me sick or do nothing . They just kept telling me I need to stretch everyday and stay active. I tried multiple different options to help with pain. Nothing was working. The only thing that was working for the time being was the narcotic pills they gave me. The only thing would get me though my day and work without breaking down in tears because I was in so much pain. They found out that I had a drug charge and decided to cut me off of my pain meds without any alternative or chance to prove that I am not the drug addict they started treating me as. People make mistakes and some people are not just looking to get high like they seem to think. I just wanted to feel normal again and live a normal life and they pills was the only thing helping me do that. Thanks for the pain management.
