Fantastic experience: I’ve had a great experience so far with Steven at Select Physical Therapy. He listens to my concerns about my injuries and pain and is very attentive in making a personalized plan to best suit my progress to healing.

Fantastic experience: I have recently begun as a PT patient of Steven. I appreciate his friendliness and at the same time his professionalism. PT is not easy. It hurts, but I know the pain is for the results I need. Steven gently encourages me to keep going and reach an inch more. I can tell the work I do with him is slowly improving my knee movement after my knee replacement surgery. After therapy I always feel better and walk better. I strongly recommend Select and Steven.

Fantastic experience: Steven takes the time to understand the issue without just throwing generic exercises at you. Also, never feels like he’s rushing you despite what the clock says.

Fantastic experience: Top Notch Physical Therapy care is being provided at the Happy Valley location.I am especially impressed with the healing energy that Brooke's expert PT craft that she dispenses. I have been to other Physical Therapists before and they were all good, but Brooke is on Top.

Fantastic experience: Brooke was absolutely brilliant! She listened and heard what I was saying about my specific area that was needing the most attention . I was given exercise”s to strengthen the muscles for my lower back. I felt I was given excellent care and the tools to continue my therapy.

Negative experience: Well I can't complain about the services but I used the old business as this new company Select that took over is complete scam. Be careful as they like to bill you even when the front desk assure you that you will not be billed and it's covered, the mighty corporate office sticks it to you anyhow. they have no regard for honest service and even called me a liar more then once. 11-6-23 update. As you can see by the response from the provider they said they wanted to reach out and speak with me about this. I just wanted to update and show that this company is all talk as they have not reached and I'm sure have not intention to but they wanted to leave the professional response to act like they care and are doing something to resolve the review. Like I said before, the management could care less about the clients, just the money and if I had free time I would have fought them to the end about the false invoice but I don't have that kind of time.

Fantastic experience: Ascent Physical Therapy is awesome! went to Ascent Physical Therapy after a painful back injury at work. The professional Dr.'s of Physical Therapy quickly helped me to become fully functional and pain free with in weeks! Well actually 4 weeks, but that's what it takes sometimes. These people are the "real deal"!! They know how to rehab a person from all aspects; Physically, mentally, and Holistically. When I first started PT I was skeptical from my past experiences with physical training and rehab clinics. To be honest, I thought of PT and rehab as a farce and just a business that the doctors recommended to get you out of their office. Now, after a painful and possibly career limiting injury I am a big supporter of real PT. Real PT is individual focused and hard. It makes you do the hard things, things that sometimes hurt for a little bit and then begin to feel better. I looked at my visits with a reality of I need to do the work and push through the momentary pain to come to a place that is "normal" again. Acesnt Physical Therapy professionals were awesome. I credit them with helping me get back to normal. And believe me "normal" is a good thing! Details. Friendly, yes. Professional yes knowledgeable yes excellent equipment and cleanliness yes price ?? workers comp, but they made sure I never saw a bill. Would I recommend to my firefighter brothers and sisters yes, big yes!

Fantastic experience: These guys are great! Derek took the time to explain a lot about my condition. My injury was not a common case, and he took the time to do extra research to help. They kept me strong while I was on light duty, and continued to use different methods of treatment. I can't recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Pat Webinger is AMAZING!! He is super patient and explained everything so I could understand and relate too. Highly recommend him and his staff for your PT needs!! Location is super convenient and easy to find. Will be referring all my family and friends!!

Fantastic experience: I had been in a car accident and my back was in a lot of pain. I was referred here. Let me just say everyone that works here is very very friendly the staff took the time to help you and really cared.. Within a admit a month in a half I was back and going to work with very little problems. I really appreciate the care from these guys. I definitely recommend Ascent Physical Therapy...

Fantastic experience: I am an avid hiker and physical fitness junkie. Earlier this year I was training for my first marathon and three weeks before race day I strained my calf. I attempted to rest it for a few days and then run again. This caused me to also injure my ankle. I consulted with Dr. Rice at Ascent with little hope that I would be able to heal in time before the race. Dr. Rice treated me, walked me through rehabilitation and strengthening routines, and followed up with me to assure I was meeting my rehab goals. Dr. Rice's expertise and professionalism were outstanding. In the end, I was able to run my first marathon and my calf and ankle performed painlessly.

Fantastic experience: I am new to the PT game, however I still did research and considered many things before picking this location and I’m so glad I did. I liked their response time, friendly staff, chill vibes and really have no complaints. I don’t have other PT places to compare it to, but as far as customer service, punctuality and professionalism goes they are great here and that is hard to find in the medical services.

Fantastic experience: Overall phenomenal PT office, I could not be happier with how I have been treated. To be honest Dr. Daryn Portman is the reason that I keep going back. Not only has she been professional but personable as well, I consider her a friend. She has helped me through the grueling process of recovering from a third knee surgery. Every visit I seem to hit a new milestone and I know it’s because she has pushed me to try my hardest with every session. Even though I like to talk a lot she quickly gets me back on track. Great place I would recommend it to anyone with PT issues, and obviously I recommend Dr. Portman. I must also mention Emily Greiff, their front office manager, from my experience she is very professional and friendly.

Fantastic experience: I was a bit apprehensive, not knowing quite what to expect. Dr. Patrick immediately put me at ease. He took time to thoroughly understand, not only my physical needs, but where I was mentally in regards to physical therapy. Once we began the actual physical therapy, I was very pleasantly surprised at the lack of pain as we moved through the various routines. By the end of the first session, I could not believe the apparent improvement that had been made in my range of motion from just one therapy session! Fantastic experience: Thank you to Dr. Kelsey and the other staff members at the Ascent Physical Therapy center. I've had negative experiences with PT in the past and was nervous going into therapy. I needed PT to help with back pain and leg weakness and I chose Ascent because of their great ratings, and now I can join the other reviewers with positive comments. The center is very clean and has a calming atmosphere which helps relax during sessions. Dr. Kelsey is amazing with her knowledge, kindness and encouragement. I'm finished with treatments and have come out stronger on the other side, and going forward, I'll use what I've learned to help stay more comfortable.

This was making it harder to work and to do any daily functions with my right arm. I have been guessing my pain have been contributed by my work-from-home ergonomic settings like the desk and the chair height. I decided to see this physical therapy first to get their opinion if I needed to seek a medical doctor for my issue. When I called the front desk, she made it so easy to schedule and to check my benefits so I clearly understood what to expect for all my office visits. I was super happy I was able to get an appointment within the same week I called. During my first visit they recommended a brace different then the one I had purchased a week prior to my appointment. It's only been a couple days using the new brace and it worked and improved my pain tremendously. The physical therapists there were VERY knowledgeable!!! I also just recently changed my work space at home to make it more ergonomically functional for me too. This clinic is SUPER clean and organized. They truly care about our healthy and safety and take Covid very seriously. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I went because of a shoulder injury, and also a bunion. Steffi was AMAZING! She was very patient and thorough and made a great plan for me to work on at home. She went through each exercise to make sure I knew what I was doing, and then told me I could come back as often as I needed but if I was fine and it was working, then I wouldn’t need to return! You don’t find this often - most places are out to get you to keep returning and paying. I definitely recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: I have been physically active for as long as I can remember. I have also been plagued with chronic back pain due to untreated sports injuries in my youth. I recently strained my back and thought that it would simply go away after a while, but this time was different. Instead of getting better it continued to get worse until I became nearly bed ridden and worried the time had come for back surgery. That is when I began my research for a Physical Therapist. I found Ascent and couldn’t be happier. Working with Derek helped me get back on my feet quickly. I went from barely being able to get out of bed to running 3 miles a few times a week – without pain! Derek has also helped me correct my weight lifting technique to minimize future problems and helped to establish a method for reaching new personal records. Fantastic experience: I have had to visit Ascent Physical Therapy two years in a row due to having surgery on both of my rotator cuffs. I went back to Ascent because Derek is a great physical therapist and everyone there is professional, knowledgable, and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Derek made a huge difference in my ability to be able to handle 3 surgeries on my right knee and with each one, Derek was not only the best physical therapist I have ever been with but he was my champion. To heal you have to have all 4 centers of yourself balanced such as mind, emotions, spiritual and physical. Derek helped me balance out all 4 so I could not only heal but get through the tough times. Fantastic experience: You will NEVER find a better place for PT. I'm 49 yrs old and very active and hard on my body. These PT's don't pass you on to an assistant. They spend as much time as you need to heal and give great instructions to continue home care. I usually find it a waste of time to go to PT but in this case, they helped me so much. Wow! I didn't know this kind of medical care existed anymore. I'd drive an hour to get PT from Jonathan. Please support this ethical and connected local business. Oh, in addition to this, they handled all of my insurance billing and not only did they estimate the correct amount before my visits, my portion was less than they estimated. So happy!!!!

Fantastic experience: We met Dr. Stefanie Tschoeke, DPT at Ascent when my mom needed help with building strength and minimizing pain in back and neck. Stephanie’s easy going friendly approach really helped engage mom in the process and helped her work hard. Her knowledge and ability to explain in multiple different approaches was a major plus. It was amazing the gains mom made while working with Stephanie. The staff at ascent Happy Valley were always friendly and welcoming and we would use them again without reservation!

Fantastic experience: Stefanie helped me with a frozen shoulder. She was patient but still challenged me to push my limits. Her instructions were very clear, and she worked with the equipment I already had at home. I appreciated that she was my therapist each time I had a treatment, so she already knew my situation. I would recommend her as a physical therapist.

Fantastic experience: Ascent provided me with one physical therapist that provided me with an on-going program to develop flexibility and strength. This was much improved over my previous provider. Their facility is extremely clean with an array of equipment and private room settings. This was extremely important to me during the recent pandemic. The continued education and advancement in exercises is truly motivational and has given me the confidence to resume my daily activities and an active life. I also suffer from osteoporosis and this physical training therapy by use of weights is further strengthening my bones and supporting muscles. Ascent Physical Therapy has been a great experience. Fantastic experience: Really excellent therapist - even saw me briefly when my knee had a quick swelling flare-up before a race. I would recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: They were very accommodating in finding me an appointment. I learned things about my physical therapy with them that I did not learn with previous physical therapists. Dr Rice was patient, attentive to my comfort and very informative. The experience was really nice. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Ascent to anyone having any struggles with healing or consistent pain! I have had on going knee problems since my early teen years, which has led to my body constantly compensating, and poor posture. Jonathan is my PT there and he is AMAZING. I have gone through years of surgeries and recoveries, and no one has opened up my mind to overall health, strength, and change for the good like Jonathan has! At Ascent they make sure they can get you in for your appointment whenever it is available for you. Their hours are more flexible than any other office I have ever worked with, and they never make you feel bad for rescheduling when something in life comes up.

Fantastic experience: Derek is my PT. He has helped me to walk again after not being able to for 9 months because of Neurothopy. He has also helped me to build muscle and have less pain after breaking my pelvis. I will never see any PT besides him. Kristin works the front and is the sweetest ever! Always has a huge smile on her face and is willing to help in anyway she can. The BEST Physical Therapy place around!

Fantastic experience: I went in for help with low back issues. I had been seeing another PT for a few weeks who was not helping me at all. At my first visit I was told specifically what was going on and given a plan to progress. I only needed 3 appointments and was back to doing well!! Derek even watched me do my entire weight routine at the gym and showed me ways to tweak a few things so I was protecting my lower back. I was back to deadlifts and back squats right away! I had talked to him in passing about an ankle issue I had that had stopped me from doing jazzercize and he made a comment that I should not have to stop doing any activity. So I went back to Jazz in January with the hope that if my ankle did give me trouble I knew I could go back to Ascent and get some help to figure out what was going on. So far so good! Thank you so much for all your help!!

Fantastic experience: I’m an athlete with older injuries that hurt now and then. The therapist addressed all of my needs and gives straight forward answers to all my questions. I have fun every time and feel better after each session. I actually look forward to every visit.

Fantastic experience: Excellent physical therapy and acupuncture.

Positive experience: The only reason I didn't put down 5 stars is because I'm not done yet. These guys are great. Super easy to work with. They are so flexible with your schedule and they really take the time to get to know you and care about you. This is the only place in will go for physical therapy now and in the future. They are super friendly and even have little treats for you in the waiting room if you'd like. Seriously check them out.

Fantastic experience: Over the past 2.5 months, it was a great pleasure to work with Jonathan after I injured my IT band from running. He and the team at Ascent helped me tackle my issue systematically from hip strength to ankle flexibility. They are also innovative on trying different approaches when one approach does not address the problem. Jonathan was also realistic about the fact that it will take time for my injury to heal on its own, and my job is to work on preventing the injury from reoccurring. Being a healthcare professional myself, I highly recommend Jonathan and his team at Ascent, not only for treatment of injury but also as a resource on injury prevention!

Fantastic experience: Following a car accident it was recommended by my Primary Care Physician to see a Physical Therapist to regain movement and strength in my shoulder. I was very lucky to find Dr. Lawr & Ascent PTNW. I had heard so many horror stories of family members and friends going to Physical Therapy for months and not getting better. My initial consult was set up for the same week that I called, and right away I felt very comfortable with Dr. Lawr. Their practice was very clean and organized, he walked me through some mild movement exercises and quickly diagnosed the problem. From the beginning my treatment plan was extremely clear and well documented. Each week we met to review the past weeks exercises and each week, as i progressed we started adding appropriate weights, resistance, and/or more difficult exercises. Dr. Lawr really listens, and explains things in a way that i could understand (I am no doctor!). It showed that he really cared for my well-being and wanted me to progress at the proper and safest rate. I must add, that prior to my accident I was entering the best physical fitness of my life since high school and was doing a lot of high-interval training and weight lifting. Needless to say I was bummed that I was going to have to take it easy for a while. But, with the help of Dr. Lawr I was back into my routine (with some minor adjustments) in just 2 months of treatment! Unbelievable! I highly recommend Dr. Lawr & Ascent PTNW as they are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and know what it takes to get you back on your feet, knees, shoulders, or whatever ails you in the best way!

Fantastic experience: The experience I had at Ascent was TOP NOTCH! I would refer them to anyone. The staff there make you feel welcome from your very first visit. You don't feel like "just another patient" with these guys. They take time to get to know you, show general concern for your needs and how you are feeling, and figure out what they can do to best help you. Derek was my PT. The reason for my visit was severe pain in my lower back. This was keeping me from getting everyday tasks accomplished. Derek did an excellent job in taking time to listen to the issues I was having, and then was always very clear with what his procedure would be for working through those problems in each visit. I feel he is very knowledgeable about the working and functioning of the body, which is great in putting your mind at ease (especially when they will be working on a part of your body that is already in severe pain). He always encouraged me not to rush anything, but rather, made certain we did everything at a pace that was comfortable for me. I feel like he went above and beyond in helping me get set up with new ways I could train (even in areas that were not injury related). He was always great at keeping in touch, and letting me know he was there to offer any assistance if I had any questions or concerns. My back is doing SO MUCH BETTER now, and I feel I have a better knowledge to help keep me moving forward in maintaining this great progress.

Fantastic experience: I worked with Pat for wrist and back pain after having a baby. Pat was THE BEST! The location was clean, professional and welcoming. From the front desk clerk to the PT staff, everyone made you feel comfortable and in good hands. Pat was extremely knowledgeable and had realistic exercises I could implement anywhere. I can happily state that all my needs were met and I left after only a few appointments virtually pain free and no longer in need of regular PT appointments - which was our goal all along. I would highly recommend Pat and Ascent Physical Therapy to others looking for a PT.

Fantastic experience: My back hurt for over a year before I decided that it had to be more than just the aging process (I'm 65). I used to run (Hood to Coast was a favorite - I did it over 10 times) but that was "back in the day." Over the years, I had some health challenges, continued to age, and got WAY out of shape. Running - impossible. Walking - possible, but with a great deal of pain. I could barely bend down and certainly couldn't lift myself to a standing position without bracing on a stationary object. I saw Jonathan Rice, DPT, who analyzed my gait and history. He immediately saw my problem and gave me a few exercises before I left the office. I felt a little better just doing the exercises in the office, but still didn't have high hopes. I was wrong. Way wrong. By the time I saw him again in a week, I was walking almost pain-free. He then gave me different exercises to not only alleviate my pain, but to strengthen the area (mostly my glutes) that needed help. By the time I saw him again one week later, I felt 1000% better than I did pre-Jonathan. I'm even running again (okay, only a little so far, and slow as molasses). I feel terrific. Long story long - Jonathan did a great job analyzing my problem, and offering a solution. My prognosis is great. I have no problem giving Ascent a 5 star rating, (and Jonathan a 6 star rating if one existed). My only regret is in having waited so long.

Fantastic experience: You are in good hands here for sure! One unique aspect of their treatment that I really like, is that one PT give you undivided attention throughout the entire process, form the beginning ,until the end of your journey there. This personal touche is highly valuable, and much appropriated. It reminds me of the old days when the doctor knew your name!

Fantastic experience: I had been suffering from a long term repetitive work injury that affected my shoulder and neck. I was in pain almost everyday and was cutting back hours at work. I was referred to Ascent Physical Therapy via worker's comp. After a few weeks, my pain level had decreased significantly and I had learned how to maintain the decrease at home through specific exercises. Dr. Pat Webinger was very professional yet very personable at the same time. He made me feel comfortable and seemed to be adept in his field. The staff was also very friendly. I would recommend Ascent Physical Therapy to anyone who is in pain.

Fantastic experience: I had injured my lower back during my workout and was in a lot of pain. I tried getting some massages but they didn’t help. My doctor told me to go to a physical therapist and have it looked at. Patrick and Derek have their place close to where I live so I wanted to go there and I do not regret that decision. Patrick was the one who worked on my back and he found out what the problem was and how to make it better. Patrick is an awesome physical therapist I tend to ask a lot of questions and he knew the answers or would research it for my next appointment. He is a truly gifted doctor, very flexible, and a fountain of knowledge, would give him 10 stars if I were able.
