Adventist Health Medical Group - Gresham Station Family Practice: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Best clinic I have been too !
Fantastic experience: My experience with Dr Theicher of Adventist Gresham Station. Dr Theicher listens to all my concerns. She explains everything and gives me a choice like should I do this or that. I can not think of anyone else that has put me more at ease during our visit, I know she always will give me the best care. I admire her knowledge in all my concerns. Lori her assistant is the same way they seem to be a great team. When ever I have a question Lori gets back to me right away, makes sure the Dr is informed of my needs. I can't ask for more. The front staff is always pleasant & respects my security. I hope everyone stays put because when you go in with concerns you know you will always have great results or be guided the right way to healing. Thank you to all NS
Fantastic experience: Excellent! The Dr and staff are informative. The Dr is very thorough. When I have an appointment I know I will be taken care.
Hi Linda, thank you for leaving us these kind comments.

Fantastic experience: Dr Webb, is always great! Been my Doctor for 18 years.
Hi, thank you for the positive review! We work hard to provide the best quality of care.
Negative experience: My regular NP was not available and I got an appointment with another NP. Not a fan of her bedside manner and didn't feel like I was heard. She ordered a thyroid blood test that I got the next day and it was normal as I suspected wasn't causing my symptoms. I don't think I'll see her again.
Hi, we would appreciate the opportunity to work with you directly regarding this review. Could you please reach out to us at [email protected] at your earliest convenience? Thank you.
Fantastic experience: Adventist Health, Gresham Station office. I always am greeted at the front desk with a smile & am treated with respect. My doctor listens, asks questions & offers possible solutions and any referrals that may be needed. A follow up appointment date is scheduled, if needed. I walk out with my visit summary & it will always be available for me if I log into my MyChart application.
Hello, thanks for taking the time to leave us positive feedback! Have a great day!

Fantastic experience: As always, my appointment with NP Debra Johnson was helpful and she solved the small health complaints I had and made me feel better walking out of the clinic.
Hello, thanks for taking the time to leave us positive feedback! Have a great day!
Fantastic experience: Used the online check in before coming in. Was easy process. Wait time was short in the lobby.

Jerri, thank you for taking the time to leave us this positive review! Have a great day!
Fantastic experience: Everything was good!!!
Barbara, thank you for the positive review! We work hard to provide the best quality of care.
Fantastic experience: The doctor was great, but was not able to address all my issues. I thought they may be multiple symptoms of a larger single issue. She said we had to treat them as individual issues.
Marjan, your feedback is important to us, and we really appreciate you taking the time to share it. Thank you!
Positive experience: On behalf of the staff I just want to say I'm sorry for the mix-up I was very upset over a mix-up on my test results for a UTI and I kind of took it out on the staff and I am very sorry for the bottom of my heart I came on to remove the status that I wrote about Brittany menson's team so that I could remove it but I could not find it so I just want to send out apologies you guys are wonderful and to the nurses that I gave a hard time not everybody except apologies but as a Christian I have to do my duty come on here and say that I am sorry Brittany tries are very best for all of her patients and she's been very good to me I don't know what's wrong with me maybe it's just menopause ❤️❤️❤️❤️⚔️️️
Thank you for sharing this review!
Negative experience: It wasn’t my experience in the office it was more the on call doctor yesterday. I’m a first time parent for someone to tell you “your just wasting my time asking these stupid questions” is so discouraging when you have a real concern My son had a fever he had been in an ok mood his fever got high but I was able to lower it to the high 90s And for him to genuily say ur wasting my time you should take your kid to the emergency is seriously not a way a doctor should behave. Like seriously what should I look out for can I set up an appointment for tomorrow morning with his provider do you have any tips warning ‼️ or what is he’s been lethargic for about 2 hours is his body just trying to fight an infection or this a run to the emergency and have him attended so they can take tests Like seriously genuine questions I haven’t been a parent for long This is my first time with a child with fever (my kids don’t get sick often) Besides being a first time parent, I’m not a doctor I didn’t study this stuff, I didn’t study pediatrics I didn’t study medicine. This is why I called a doctor in the first place. Just so disappointing with the attitude that was not needed and the lack of sympathy.
Hello, Ana. Your review is important to us and we're very sorry about your experience. We'd love to speak with you directly so that we can find a resolution. Will you please contact us at [email protected]?
Fantastic experience: Always a pleasure. My GP- Tami is great, The staff is amazing. Friendly environment. They all take the time to listen to you.
This is so great to hear. Thank you!
Negative experience: TAYCHER do not see Ms Taycher. If you want to feel like jumping in front of a bus after a DR appointment, she will do that for you. She is a bully and judgmental. Worst Dr I have ever seen in my life. She was mentally abusive. I was physically sick for hours after seeing her.
Negative experience: This clinic is messed up. Saw Tami but she’s not seeing patients, so the recommended Dr Keigh, she was amazing, but is only temporary! No one told m she was. I had to find another provider ! Do I recommend this clinic, NO NO NO!!
Fantastic experience: This is my first time really using my insurance. I just hate going to the doctor! I came here and was scheduled to see Dr E. KEITH. She has been absolutely phenomenal and I have since made waitlist requests just to see her. Today I found out she's leaving and I am devastated!!! I hope she and adventist know just how special she is and what an amazing doctor she is and the care she provides. I don't want to see another doctor but alas. I must. I hope her new employer treats her like the Queen she is!!! Thank you Dr Keith!!
Positive experience: Doctors come and go. It's like starting over ever few months.
Negative experience: WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
Fantastic experience: I only had some X rays done but the whole experience from check in onward was wonderfully smooth. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Fantastic experience: Kind, professional and courteous. Very accessible from max with short healthful walk.
Negative experience: AVOID...Svetlana Taycher, DO left my cousin Andrew in terrible pain that has caused him to repeatedly miss work simply because Adventist refuses to see him until the end of May. HE WAS JUST IN THE ER A WEEK AGO AND NOW IS BACK IN. There is NO EXCUSE for leaving someone in pain like that. This Dr. should retire or lose their medical license if they can't provide adequate care. We are reporting this to the OMB.
Negative experience: “Dr” Deborah Johnson (Debbie) is not the best PCP for people who need to have a support person in the room during invasive procedures and examinations. Will make you feel unsafe and not cared for due to her lack of sympathy for those whom do not feel safe in a doctors office alone. “Said I do not even let husbands in the room for said procedures”. Very snotty and judgmental, and accuses you of being unhygienic due to normal woman bodily functions. Would not recommend this “doctor“ for you or your family or to anybody who is looking for primary care. Would’ve rated her and her rude manager a 0/10 but it wasn’t possible.
Negative experience: Gresham Station Adventist clinic Checking in:;; if you like chaos, this place is for you!!!checking to see Diabetes Dr., I come in the building looking for a directive board about where the doctors office is, no directory. It used to be in east wing of the clinic. All the clinic doors are not marked, so I go into the Primary Care lobby to ask where my doctor office is. No signs in lobby about doctors office. I approached four women behind glass with two huge computer screens in front of their faces jammed very close to each other all talking on phones and very load. A woman pointing over to other side of lobby indicating me the four were all busy. The remaining other two receptionist on other side were both on the phone. So now six receptionists are all on the phone. I was told to go back over to the other side, which I replied I was told to come over to this side. Now remember again there are no signs for specialist doctors only primary care which I was looking for. I go back over, again four women buried with 8 huge screens in front them. Not sure if anyone is talking to me or on the phone, I wait. Then a women stands up and ask if she could help me. I ask where my doctors office is and she replies here. I replied, no signs here and no signs when you enter building?? She checks me in, 20 minutes past my appointment time, she’s comes over to me and says she will go to my doctors office to check. When In fact she forgot to tell my doctors office I was waiting!! If you like CHAOS this place is for you. After my appointment I went back to check in and asked to see reception manager. She was totally clueless!!! I would not recommend especially now that OSU owns Adventist.
Negative experience: If you love popping pills I'm sure you'd like it here. Based on someone I know that is a patient here and abuses medication I feel they do no due diligence, and do a diservice to their patients. I feel every medical office should have to have a system when prescribing certain classes of medication need to have a way for those around them to report back and not rely on self reporting, because not many are going to report back when medication is making them manic since some like the feeling
Negative experience: When I started going here 6 years ago they had doctors you could go see. The last 5 times i’ve called they told me to go to urgent care- probably so Adventist can charge more.
Fantastic experience: I have been going to this doctors office for over a decade and LOVE the doctors here. I see Dr. Richard Orth, he has a wonderful bedside manner and I never feel rushed. He remembers me and asks personal questions about my life. Great Doctor. My husband also goes here and his Dr is James Webb. Such a great doctor who also remembers small details about his life and even messages my husband on mycharts when is went to the hospital to check on him.
Negative experience: Referral process is broken. Over the last three years I’ve needed 3 referrals. Adventist failed on all three. The latest example, doctor said I needed x ray, they would make a referral. I waited 6 days for a call, then I called medical office. Person told me I don’t need an appointment, it was a walk in situation. ( wouldn’t it have been nice if someone told me that 6 days ago) I looked up hours of operation for Friday, web site states 7 am. I got there promptly at 7 am, imagine my surprise when the check in person said oh sorry x ray does not open until 8:30. (Wouldn’t it have been nice if someone told me that or if it was posted on the web page). So disappointed
Negative experience: Just try to find a phone number
Fantastic experience: Right so did have a little bit of a hard time finding the entrance that's for sure, receptionist was very helpful with setting up the mychart thingy, and setting up a primary provider for me that my insurance covered, only but positive vibes from everyone especially from my new primary doc, CHEERS
Negative experience: Adventist Dr. Ngan-Lien Nguyen told us today (04/27/20) to come here for Covid-19 testing. Called Adventist Gresham to alert the situation and informed them about Dr.’s instruction. A staff told us to come in for drive through test and call them we get there. After almost an hour drive (live far away, test center aware of this prior our coming over), they instructed us that they could not do the test unless we see their doctor. They said that Dr. Nguyen did not place Covid-19 test order (Urgent Care of Gresham did not inform order request prior us coming and the Dr. Nguyen said the order was not needed when we asked). They told us Dr. Nguyen could not be reached after 1.5 hours of waiting. They informed no Covid-19 test unless see a doctor again 04/27/2020 (pay a fee for visit). My mom was so sick (no eating for 1 week, only drink water, had Covid-19 symptoms) that we could not wait any longer. Took almost 1 hour to get home, total ~ 3.5 hours waste with still no Covid-19 test as recommended by our doctor Nguyen.
Negative experience: All the time when l called to make appointment or request change medications, ask them to send pharmacy or ask them to fax to me a copy of new orders they give me hard time, every day. I would rather not calling. But you know is my job l have to contact them. The worst part is they hangup the phone in ear. l have to call them again. I have bad experience.l don’t like going over there, they are not good staff at all. They need more respect and working as professional. When some one doesn’t speak English very well they want to take advantage of them and they will give you attitude.l would not recommend to anyone to go over there.
Negative experience: It's like if a Christian Scientist became a doctor or maybe if a 600lb life guest was your nutritionist. Do not be surprised if you hear one or more of these doctors say " I won't prescribe such and such medication, because I do not believe in it". The doctors here are dangerous, you can't know what you don't know. Patients should be treated accordingly not by a personal belief. The only competent department is radiology. Avoid this place.
Positive experience: Efficient, friendly, many services in one building.
Fantastic experience: Excellent, courteous service. Prompt, professional and appropriate. Dr. Chu was friendly, prepared to meet me and answered all my questions. I will definitely recommend to friends and family. Great care.
Fantastic experience: Aside from all the bad reviews. I had paper in my ear and my nurse practitioner thought it was earwax due to it being covered with earwax. She prescribed medication to dissolve the ear wax but it did nothing because that was cue tip tissue. I knew it was that so the next time I came in one of the nurse assistants pulled it out. Mistakes happen and no one is a god with magical powers. Every man or woman does wrong. Judging my nurse for assessing me the wrong way is inhuman and a selfish act. I had a decent experience and the staff is friendly.
Negative experience: Got a prescription for sleep medicine (I'm having a terrible time sleeping) and it didn't work. It kept me up all night. Called to get another one, they said I have to make an appointment and come in! I haven't slept for three days and they want me to make an appointment? They don't seem to care if you're suffering. I JUST saw the doctor a few weeks ago. They don't need another appointment to prescribe me a new sleep medicine. It seems to me they just want to make the extra money from the extra appointment. What if it takes 6-7 different medications to find one that works with me? That's 6-7 appointments, missed work, hours of waiting, and all just to try sleep medications? If you're looking for relief, you might consider looking somewhere else. Now I have to look elsewhere and find a new doctor.
Negative experience: It was time for a wellness check. When I called to make the appointment I was told that I could only See the person that I had last seen. I did not like her and did not want to be stuck with her. My Doctor has left Adventist. I am now going to go to Providence for my medical needs.
Fantastic experience: All was friendly , short wait for walk ins
Fantastic experience: Been seeing Dr. Webb for 10+ years. Great guy who really seems to care and takes his time with patients. Support staff is always friendly and fast with the check in and paperwork process.
Negative experience: Office was nice was my first visit with this doctor. I came over from providence only to find this doctor judges people and chooses to not help. Came in he asked me ?s which is fine I have a lot of problems and voiced concerns everything went well. Then I brought up a pain issue so he called in a ultrasound. I went to the appointment as pain got worse and was unbearable shooting down my right leg. Found out by on call jerk of a doctor it was a cyst that was hemorrhage. He say walk it off. These men doctors are a joke. You're Fired!
Negative experience: The support staff is terrible. My last couple of calls to make an appointment were typical. After an ER visit in which my throat was scoped leaving me with not much of a voice. Swollen vocal cords at best. First call I gave up after repeating my name and birthdate 4 times, they couldn't understand me . Next day with a bit better voice ( 2nd try ) I was told by Jennifer that she didn't like my Tone of voice! (I explained my ER visit and calling day before. Which was physically painful also) She insisted I was totally able to control my voice and insinuated that I was making it up. WHAT!? Is this how people with vocal injuries are treated? And it gets better... Kim the clinic manager called and harassed me 24 hours later. I shouldn't use bad language with staff. Fully supported the way I was treated and gave me a Verbal Warning. No way would I recommend this clinic because of support staff. I have complained about communication problems between staff to my Doctor with Kim before , and it went no where. So maybe this review will do something. But not holding breath.
