Fantastic experience: Shanese Freeman is by far the most down to earth and straight to the point type of person. She’s helped me succeed beyond ways I can’t imagine. I been to couple counseling places and you get the typical yea, ok, how does that make you feel type of person but she is very blunt honest and feels like shes been there and I feel she understands what I’m going thru. You don’t get a lot of workers like Shanese. If I could give her 10 stars I would, Fantastic human being and somebody I can call a good friend.

Fantastic experience: Shanese freeman is my counselor at the pyramid for morning IOP groups , Shanese is a great listener and she wants the best for her clients , and I’m doing real well here with her I see along progress. I also was in PHP before I stepped down to IOP , Stacey was my counselor she was great. Very passionate with her work , really good listener , and she helped give me coping skills, and mechanisms that I use in my every day like to deal with challenges I come accross. All the staff at pyramid are kind and helpful. Shanese is also doing well with me and helping me become more open minded , she’s from where I’m from and she understand her clients , I would’ve recommend Shanese to any client that need helps with there substance use. She does her job and she’s very straight forward with her work!!

Fantastic experience: It was a life transforming experience for me. I learned so much. At the age of 62, I have been "On the Couch" a time or two. The atmosphere was down to earth. My experiences were "Real" experiences in Group Sessions and with my counselors... especially Alex and Christina. If you want to have a good chance of getting well? Try Pyramid...good folks...if you want to get help... There are some patient's as within other facilities, that are abiding with court orders...etc...ONLY. I get it. Some patients aren't ready to give it all up. And as reason would have it...gamble with their lives and those of others? We are all adults right? So fine...that's their choice.... But if you really want to get better? Get with Pyramid. At the very least, will get you pointed in the right direction. Then it's all up to you...and that's easier said then done. Trust me...you will have to work to maintain your health. No program will save you without a good personal effort. As a life long Trauma Respiratory Therapist...I have seen my fair share of traffic accidents...many leading to death. It's just not about you. It's also about the safety of others... Negative experience: Terrible Establishment, Had NOTHING but issues from here, It was literally One thing after another. They called my Primary Care Physician with NO releases for such(Illegal) and caused turmoil in my life and whatever they said(most likely made up) spooked her and it resulted in her dropping me as a Dependent MAT(Subutex) patient with NO route of continuing my medication, which almost led me back to Opioid pills which I was 3+ years clean from, The director made up statements that were NEVER even said about me(Confirmed), Tina is rude, condescending, and Combative, Then Francesca acts like you’re crazy for not tolerating the havoc they cause, Then On two separate occasions I lingered outside the one office, and overheard numerous staff gossiping about other clients and giggling. However I must State that Miss. Renee is the kindest soul, and the only good in the place(Diamond in the Rough). This Review is among the other Dozens of other Painful reviews I’ve read pertaining to this establishment. A TRUE embarrassment to the recovery community. Do NOT waste your time. Go to MARS instead. MARS actually will have motive to Better your future!

Negative experience: I would give zero stars but than isn't possible. Have been waiting almost a month for paperwork from an evaluation needed for a court hearing. Have called over 7 times to speak to Francesca & receptionist, left voicemails & was told 5 times that the paperwork would be emailed. Never emailed and still playing phone tag. Absolutely frustrating and unprofessional office, save yourself the headache

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE. Avoid Pyramid at all costs. The staff is incompetent. I went to a Pryamid Inpatient treatment center In Duncansville and they started me on Suboxone Maintenance while i was there. They set me up with Outpatient services in Allentown to continue my MAT treatment. The Allentown location failed to renew my subscription to Suboxone and told me that I had to call the Inpatient place that I was at to get another script. So I tried calling the Inpatient place and then they tell me that I should be getting it from the Outpatient place. After a week of trying to make phone calls neither one would fill the script and I ran out of Suboxone 2 weeks into being on the street, going into full on opiate withdrawal. I was lucky enough to find another local doctor who would fill the script but charged me $150. If I hadn't found that doctor I would be dope sick and possibly relapsing. Also one more thing, do not leave voicemails for any of the staff because you are wasting your breath. NONE OF THE STAFF EVER RETURNED A SINGLE PHONE CALL after countless voicemails. You have to keep calling over and over again until you get lucky.

Fantastic experience: My time at pyramid gave me great insight into my reasons for my addiction. all of my councilors and support team were great and were quick to help when I had an issue.i've received the tools I need to rebuild my life and stay sober and productive. I would strongly recommend to persons struggling with what I have to seek help from this facility. I am looking forward to taking all I learned and applying it to a better life..

Negative experience: I have no delusions that you can pay anyone to care. While trying to resolve an issue, I contacted Pyramid several times and left messages, including to my counselor, with my phone number. I finally received a response from my counselor (by mail) stating that our relationship would be terminated. This was the only response I ever received. There was never any concern for my wellbeing expressed. Just keep in mind that you are a customer paying for the illusion that someone cares, not unlike paying for the services of prostitutes. Someone, especially my counselor, should have had the decency to call me to discuss the situation, not just send me a warning of termination of their services. Walter

Negative experience: I called for appointment and they told to just walk in after 8am. I take my time and gas, to make the it to the place, just to get told I have to come back another time. Doesn't inspire much trust, specially with mental health

Negative experience: As it shows take medicade/Medicare. I am on disability for PTSD and carry Medicare. I was enrolled sat in 2 classes and was told I could not be treated that my insurance which is Atena and medicare was not showing active which is an not true. THIS PLACE IS NOT ABOUT HELPING PEOPLE BUT ALL ABOUT MONEY. First and foremost to treat addiction the mind needs to be treated first then the body. People don't self medicate for no reason.

Fantastic experience: I recently just completed group and I must say, this has been a real great experience. I started last may with Tina my counselor. I gained so much knowledge and accountability from attending pyramid in Allentown.I met great people there and thankful for all that I have gained. Sometimes people are lost and need positive guidance.

Negative experience: Started with Pyramid back in September of 2018. Countless times they would not communicate with each other and it would always be the patient who got left holding the bag. I left and went out of state and enrolled in another clinic. Never had a relapse. Documented! Come back to Pyramid and receive ZERO help. They make you start from scratch and jump thru multiple hoops for an entire month while not prescribing you ANY meds.4x I can remember they gave me a meeting/class to attend online andvibwould be on it waiting up tovan hour and no class took place or the host wouldnt let me in and i would get considered non-compliant! Absurd. Basically "Not their problem" is what I was told.... this clinic is an embarrassment. They also can't keep a full or even half staff due to the hypocrisy. They are narcissistic to the T. Stress you out and play games to get you to relapse so that you have to keep returning and visit up to 4 days a week. Basically the more you have to visit, the more they get to charge, hense the more they get paid. They definitely are legal kingpins!

Negative experience: My 62 years & future depends on someone who's around 25 Decisions? Besides already seeing a shrink and a psychologist, They think there better! I rather become a junkie and die before I count on them. They are only money hungry. A doctor saw me in ER & who is affiliated with them. And now they wont let me contact / communicate with him, Not even by Email. Its like they even own him. This is why most people cant seek help. UPDATE _ 3 WEEKS Later...Wanted 152.00 before they would even talk with you. I PAID on the spot. TODAY, I got a bill from them for $152 saying no insurance.. Due: upon Receipt. greedy people who cant keep the numbers right.

She needs a raise like right now, she's the reason people stay clean and want sobriety. Sarah should run the company, things might actually get done on time. Negative experience: If you want your teenager listening to adult adicts talk about their previous experiences in the waiting room for a very long time, this is the place for you. Forget about “walk in assessments”, they do not exist. Waited for 3 hours and never saw anyone but extremely rude staff. Find another place! I am.

Negative experience: The staff are all petulant incompetent people who hold the patients in utter contempt. Drag a net through the "hood" and hire these arrogant malcontents and see what you get.

Negative experience: For some stupid reason they are walk in only. You don't even have the option to make an appointment. After waiting nearly 5 hours and being ignored when we asked what was taking so long we were told to leave and come back another day. We weren't the only ones. While there, one person said it was her THIRD attempt to be seen there. Let me be plain here, she was told to come back another day TWICE after waiting hours to be seen. At one point we were even told we had no right to question their scheduling practices. Seriously? Is this anyway to run a business? Is this anyway to treat people who are hurting and coming there for help? How can any medical facility be so heartless as to not have the staff they need to actually do their jobs? It's plain that they do not want to have the necessary staff to deal with their work load. This shows me that their primary focus is the bottom line and not the patients they are so poorly serving. If this place is your only option and you have no choice then go for it. But if you have any other place you can go I would say to avoid Pyramid like the plague. One star is too generous for this organization.

Positive experience: Although it is a bit unorganized, my counselor was Wendy Sommers. She was great for me. Found a place to take me full time in a short notice, and organized then to pick me up. I have been sober 1 year to date. And have Wendy to thank for that. God bless

Negative experience: So first, they canceled on me for 4 weeks because my counselor had issues then resigned, as if that wasn't a red flag then, my next counselor set me up with an appointment for the wrong day, I confirmed it was the wrong day then she proceeded to call me when I wasnt there... On the wrong day. Hmm. She didn't listen when I talked, always had an attitude and doesn't respect me. She axts like she is better than me and always has a chip on her shoulder. I want help, not to be judged. Thanks pyramid for showing me what NOT to do.
