Fantastic experience: This place is amazing, it feels like I’ve been coming here for years. It’s warm and welcoming and the results are very noticeable in a short time. Thanks guys!
Negative experience: My daughter has had a second referral placed with this facility and the therapist has been amazing both times however the receptionist who I have spoke with on the phone a couple of times is rude and argumentative. Due to these continuous interactions I have asked that my referral be withdrawn and any future appointments are cancelled. I will find care elsewhere with a facility who has better customer service. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Negative experience: I will say first that the actual physical therapy I received was very good. My one-star review is for the billing; it would take too long to explain my situation but I'm very unhappy with how it's been handled; including sending me a bill almost a year after I went to therapy there. Make sure when you go to Pivot that you know EXACTLY what your insurance covers and what your responsibility will be because they will not run the numbers and give you any idea of that. Then they'll send a big bill a year later.

Negative experience: I had a partial knee replacement and tried Pivot after having scheduling issues with a different PT after previously having my other knee done. I wish I had just sucked it up and dealt with the scheduling issues, because I found the therapy did not compare at all. Exercises were assigned and I was mostly left to get on with it. My first therapist spent most of his time behind the desk, and after needing to change to afternoons and being assigned to someone else, I usually left the facility annoyed and frustrated. Thankfully my previous experience with my other knee gave me enough knowledge to regain function. On top of that, I’m now having problems with the billing. We have Tricare as a 2nd insurance that pays the copay. I’ve been billed for copays that are still outstanding, about half of the visits, and after speaking with representatives who are clueless I just paid the bill for peace and quiet. The incessant calls, text messages, emails and paper bills for a balance they should have billed Tricare for, are simply obnoxious. I won’t be recommending this facility.

Negative experience: Why is the front desk always so so rude? She doesn’t even say goodbye, hangs up and asks me when I want the appointment.,,

Fantastic experience: Everything ive rec'd so far was admirable....but I had a problem with my elbow on the same arm.....Pivot treating my wrist! So not knowing how well I was being treated...I have to get another evaluation for my elbow, on the same arm! So the Dr's overlooked that part of the arm to give Pivot a complete evaluation???

Disappointed I with where I work as I was told not allowed to make appointments during work hours.by the time it takes me to get to our parking lot then out of it I would never make it over there in time.

Fantastic experience: The physical therapist was great and definitely knows what he is doing. I was very comfortable working with him and he would ask me pointed questions about how much I was doing with the exercises and knew just when I would start to struggle. The only thing I had a problem with was the report has my first name wrong.

Fantastic experience: John S. At Pivot PT is the man you want if your body parts don’t work!!!! John is very knowledgeable, thorough, kind hearted and over all an excellent, excellent Physical Therapist!! If I could give him 10 stars I would. Executive Dr, Pivot Physical Therapy is where you want to go, to get your body parts, joints, pulled muscles etc, back in great working order. My family and I have been patients here for over 10yrs off and on!!! They have fixed many of my families injured limbs, pulled muscles and surgery rehab!! We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Negative experience: Be very careful with the physical therapist here! In particular Eric. I already don’t trust anyone ever and I was informed a therapist wrote in my medical file I was moving furniture. I NEVER said anything like that. I have no need to move furniture. I didn’t move furniture before my work injury so why would I start doing that now. False statements can hurt my very valid claim. **Update** I’m happy to know the disruption in my care won’t be long not happy that my reminder appointments I had set prior to Eric false statement may not be accommodated. Mr. Sattrly statement that coming to physical therapy is apart of my job on a worker’s comp rub me the wrong way. I know what I need to do and I’ve been doing just that. I’m not the reason for this disruption. A apology would of been nice but I’ll move forward. Trust is a big part of care and unfortunately I don’t trust this company but unfortunately I have to go here since it’s workers comp approved. My advice for all especially if you are going through worker’s comp case is to get in do your 30 minute therapy and don’t engage in any conversation. Keep your words to a minimum. Something I did and will continue to do. I just want to get back to my condition prior to my work injury. I fought for physical therapy and I won’t allow anything or anyone to mess up my goal. I will be updating my review throughout my journey so folks can have help making a decision regarding their care. Happy Healing folks.

Negative experience: I had been going to physical therapy twice a week Nov 2021 thru Apr 2022. Had my therapy dog with me at every visit until a week ago when I was told a patient complained and said my dog growled at them. I know for a fact that wasn't true and the therapists should have known as they have worked with me with my dog for so many months. The staff and the plan to help me was fantastic and significantly helped me to walk unassisted and decreased my pain. Of course they couldn't or wouldn't tell me who complained, I felt lied to and wonder if there's another reason. I have all the documentation to have my dog with me (he's less than 10lbs). But I was refused further care if I had my therapy dog with me. So I'm looking for a new place. Don't lie to your patients, have more transparency and be honest.

Fantastic experience: Caring and professional physical therapists. I had a knee injury that had to have a knee replacement surgery. I needed an evaluation and assessment a year after my work injury and the therapist at Pivot in Hampton, VA was very good at explaining my three hour testing before and after. He answered all my questions and explained my results and gave me his card if I needed any help or had further questions later on. I have had a lot of physical therapy and a lot of therapists with this injury, surgery, and manipulation under anesthesia to break up scar tissue and by far even though my assessment testing was painful, it was far better because everything was explained and taken at my pace. I would definitely recommend getting therapy and assessment testing and rating at Pivot in Hampton.

Fantastic experience: I started going to physical therapy at Pivot at the end of December for arthritis in my right knee. The staff has been very friendly, courteous and professional. Jessica has been the main therapist but several others have helped me and I am seeing good results.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this location.The team was simply amazing! They will make sure that you have a plan that will get you back to moving again. I came in with barely no strength in both my legs. Now, I am able to use the techniques that this awesome team taught me to continue to gain the stability needed to walk and run at a comfortable pace. Thanks ladies!!

Fantastic experience: I was in an accident in 2013 and needed a lot of physical therapy. I was sent here specifically to see the back guru, Wayne McMasters. I went here for several months, five days a week. He was knowledgeable, personable, the staff was great and the facilities were exceptional. I went from broke down and crippled to limited issues and 100 hour work weeks.
