Fantastic experience: Knowledgeable, Polite and friendly staff. From the beginning to the end they listened to what I needed and worked with me on the different areas of strengthening needed to help alleviate pain and improve daily functioning.

Fantastic experience: Super awesome and dope place!!!! Pool therapy was my favorite!! Jessica in the front office was awesome! Dr. K was awesome!! I mainly worked with Jessica and she was amazing! She knew extacly what to do and would always talk with me on how the PT feels and if we need to cut back or increase. First time ever doing physical therapy and if I ever had to get PT again, this is the only place I’m going to go!

Fantastic experience: Total knee replacement If you are looking for a Physical Therapy place then look no further. I had a total knee replacement less than 3 months ago and I have advanced quickly due to their expertise along with their warm water physical therapy. My doctor was very impressed with my progress. In the pool, I gained confidence in walking naturally without the fear of falling. I practiced walking on steps in the water, and again there was no fear of falling. The warm water helped lower my pain level making it easier to do the exercises. I grew stronger walking and exercising in the water because of the natural resistance the water provides. When I would return to land I noticed that I was walking more naturally and taking stairs with ease. Something else I noticed was my energy started returning quickly. The water naturally increased my endurance. I was able to do more daily activities with less fatigue. Also my range of motion was much easier to do in the water. Out of the water I could not seem to lift my leg to put on a sock or turn over in my bed. But because the water makes you almost weightless I was able to move my leg/knee with ease and it helped my brain remember how to move the leg. After a few sessions I was able to move my leg and bend the knee so that I could do more of the daily and personal activities I needed to do. You not only have the opportunity to do the pool, they also have a complete gym with all the necessary equipment to advance your progress. I worked one on one in the gym with one of their highly trained therapists. The atmosphere is like being with your family. The staff is very positive. I was given helpful feedback throughout my stay. I felt motivated to do the exercises that they provided for me to do at home. It seemed like each time I came back to do physical therapy I was one step closer to having my knee back to normal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: PPT is the only facility in the area that offers aqua therapy. I have been managing fibromyalgia for over 12 years and I wish that I had been referred to aqua therapy a long time ago. The therapists here are friendly, warm, caring, professional, and knowledgeable. Having chronic pain makes it difficult to want to exercise, but I look forward to going to PPT, because I actually enjoy the therapy (both in the pool and in the gym) and I always leave feeling so much better. Special thanks to Kwesi and Jasmine for their special care!

Positive experience: This, indeed is a great facility. Towards the end of my tenure, I encountered ultimate unprofessionalism. Be careful of bring lured into personal conversations with Jasmine. I have always been a positive mindset person. Therefore I tend to speak happiness in spite of the antagonistic pain that I endure on a daily basis. Jasmine will ask you questions and you will be thinking she's just being friendly, but she's recording it all for business purposes. I honestly understand her position as a physical therapist, but at the same time she must be able to desern conversations vs using everything you say as if it's the court of law. I mentioned that I danced at a family function which is true. However, I didn't mention that I mainly danced in my seat with my husband standing, dancing in front of me It wasn't until my husband pulled my hands in a motion to dance standing up, then I stood up. Yes, I danced and enjoyed. Because of my instability, I wasn't able to move my feet with the motions. Anyway, it was wonderful. My next appt was with Kwaze, in the gym. His approach was very direct and suttle. He said to me, oh so...what's up? How's it going? I said...I'm doing ok. He said....you're dancing and having a good time so what's up? I continued to talk and I did explain to him about my family function. His delivery on this sucked. It's not what you do, it's how you do it. During his assessment he found that my condition was the same and he began to soften a bit. I proceeded to leave the facility. As I was walking out, Kwaze came running out the door saying that his colleagues just told him that he should have discharged me. He said he's the new guy so, he didn't want to make me any promises. Promises about what?Unbelievable. I can't believe that after all of the help and determination for a stronger physical me, that this happened. I really enjoyed being there but I will not be treated as such.

Fantastic experience: As a former Medic in the military and Nurse in civilian life, I can say without hesitation that the care I have received at Peninsula Physical Therapy for a lumbar spine nerve impingement has been Top Tier. The staff is genuinely caring, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. The facility it self is immaculate. I would recommend PPTA to any one in need of Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: PPT&A has been so good with me, lovely and friendly staff, they are all really attentive. I'm never "left alone" to do my stretches like I have been at other PT clinics. Fantastic experience: I starter at Peninsula Physical Therapy (PPT) with a very high pain level and now two third of the way through my treatment, my pain level has been reduced by over ninety five percent. This was accomplished through a high level of technical expertise, a well-structured plan, and a professional team at all levels that helped with my rapid improvements. Fantastic experience: I love this staff, Elizabeth, John, Jackie, Jessica, Jazmin and the pool, i love this place is like coming to family to make you feel better, healthy and at peace, amazing kind and clean place, therapy could not be less stressful, 0 stess zone !! i love the people who comes here too. kind and sweet patients. The staff really know how to treat me and fix my pain. i highly recommend this place BTW they accept tricare military insurance. Ask for the different treatment they have, for young adults ,elders and kids, located in Hampton hardy cash plc.

Fantastic experience: From the reception at the entrance to the completion of therapy at the exit this PPTA is by far the best place I've been for my physical therapy, and I've been a lot of places over the past 20 years in different states & locations. I'm back here again after having been here about 10 years ago. I'm happy to see the familiar face of Jazmin but each & every worker as well that are new to me are excellent in their skills and delightfully pleasant making a diligent effort to help me have a pain free life & improve my quality of living. The smiles start off with Jessica at the front desk & they continue from then on from everyone in the back . I 'highly' recommend PPTA & I hope they'll be here as long as I may need them!!

Fantastic experience: On a scale of 1-10, I would absolutely rate my aquatics therapist Jasmine with a score of 100 plus! Jasmine treated me twice per week for approximately nine weeks and she demonstrated remarkable inspiration, encouragement and support as she both communicated and skillfully modeled therapeutic techniques most beneficial to alleviating my painful condition. Her level of compassion and support for optimum progress and improvement in my functioning were reflected in my aquatics therapy sessions and in the therapeutic care plan she developed for my follow-up at home to maintain and further strengthen me. Her holistic approach to both treating me as an "individual " and educating me on the benefits of targeted exercises for my follow-up program continues to be effective; a part of my daily routine and intervention during crises. My family and I are forever grateful for Jasmine, her expertise, and character. In retrospect I recall from the time of my initial referral telephone to PPT&A's receptionist Jessica at the front desk, I encountered warmth, kindness, caring, and professionalism matched with an enthusiasm to make my experience a positive one. I would soon realize these same characteristics described the staff and skillful therapists who worked as a team to help me achieve my personal goals. I am also appreciative to management for a therapeutic pool with warm water at 94 degrees! It matters especially to some of us having arthritic, rheumatoid, chronic conditions and more. It is a blessing to have PPT&A available to my friends , family, and myself whenever needed. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice, without any reservations, for anyone and everyone requiring physical therapy services. JB

Fantastic experience: Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They go over and beyond the call of duty. They have your best interest at heart. Their job is to work with you, lower your pain level, make you feel better (so you can function from one day to the next). You are put on an individual program (one that fits your needs), whether it’s in the pool and or gym. The pool is awesome, water temperature is warm and comfortable. Easy to do therapy with less pain (water therapy is good for your body and makes it easy to manage your pain. Your progress is their major concern. They are very much attentive to your needs. You’re not forced to over do it nor do anything you can’t do. Your concerns and needs are never over looked and you are their number one priority. The therapist stay with you at all times. They are there for you. I do recommend Peninsula Physical Therapy on Hardy Cash in Hampton Va.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend PPTA! From the beginning I was treated professionally. I have a rare condition and the staff was knowledgeable of it! That didn’t happen at Riverside Wellness PT. The pool is warm, easy to get into. Jackie customized a routine which allowed me too continue with PT. That didn’t happen at Riverside Wellness PT. What really impressed me was within minutes of meeting Jackie (my Therapist) she corrected the way I used my cane. I’ve walked in-front of many Doctors and Nurses for over a year and no one noticed it! Not even at Riverside Wellness Center PT for my 8 week program. Correcting my walk made a huge difference in my pain and balance. Can’t say enough great things about PPTA! Best wishes...JT

Fantastic experience: I went in with a lot of pain in my legs. I couldn't stand 30 seconds without being overcome with pain. It also effected how I sat. Eight to ten weeks later it was gone after doing my stretches and exercises. All of the technicians and therapists were professional and friendly. They came up with a plan and now I'm pain free!

Positive experience: Not certain if it's under new management, or what changed. Last year i was less than pleased with the slack attitude of the therapist. This year it is a different and very dedicated staff. They all pursue your improvement and they work well with each other. Even the front desk is more professional and competent.

Fantastic experience: So worth the trip

Negative experience: The administration are a bunch of Highway robbers I was a patient at this therapy center, before they pulled a quick one on me. I called them this one time when I could not make it to an appointment, and they said it was all good and they would be more than happy to reschedule me, but they failed to remind me that there would be a fine. They sent me a "no-show" fine for $150 for 3 missed appointments. A heads up would've been nice. They never make reminder calls or confirmation calls at all, or even give out hard copies of appointment schedule because it is against their policy. When I try to contest the no-show fee, the rude manager pointed out that it was my fault and it is not difficult to remember two days out of a week for therapy. I don't think anyone can remember the forever revolving appointment time and days that keep changing every week without a hard copy or a reminder.
