Fantastic experience: I cannot said enough about my physical therapy at Pivot in Hampton. The whole staff is outstanding and friendly. Stephanie was great with helping me with my appointments and other detail information that I needed. Brian showed me several different ways to excise without straining myself but still get great results. Brian is very knowledgeable, friendly, polite and has a great personality. He is very good at explaining what a particular excise was for. Brian is an outstanding physical therapist/worker. I highly recommend Pivot physical therapy in Hampton VA.

Fantastic experience: Manhattan Sq. Hampton I had a great experience at Pivot/ Athletico Physical Therapy. The staff are awesome and they keep the facility and equipments clean. Reina and Brian are awesome PT. They made every one of my visits very pleasant and challenging. They are action oriented and will correct you if you are performing the exercises incorrectly, meaning they are paying attention to your progress. They also do manual manipulation to make your exercises more effective. Thank you for helping me with my chronic discomfort and help improve my flexibility and mobility.

Negative experience: My Dr referred me to this clinic specifically for my needs. I called for an appointment and when I preferred appts after 5(I saw the comic is open until 7) I was told that wouldn't be possible and that the clinic is not for me. I wasn't asked if I could get a sitter or make other arrangements to come in at an earlier time, nothing. It was straight no, this clinic isn't for you. Good luck to all the future patients. I hope you guys are able to actually get an appointment or find a clinic that is welcoming. I hope no one else is met with the same treatment I received.

Fantastic experience: Wow!! I can’t say enough about how great the team at the (Magruder) Pivot Physical Therapy is. From the end of July 2022 till today December 15, 2022, they have worked in providing the BEST recovery care after my rotator cuff surgery. Reina (petite in statue) started working with me, and boy was I surprised at her strength in stretching my arm…just enough where I wasn’t in excruciating pain. She knows what she’s doing! After about a week or so I was switched over to Addison. Now let me tell you….Addison (Addi is what they call her), she’s thin, but surprised me how strong she was in maneuvering my arm/shoulder. She’s been a godsend to me. I don’t know how far I would be if it hadn’t been for the entire staff. Brian, another therapist, worked on me once when Addi wasn’t there. He’s like a gentle, but firm sweetie. I’ve seen him work on others and he does his job to the fullest!! I can’t leave out my “Saving Grace”!! Grace is an assistant to the therapist. She ensured I went through my exercises and provided what equipment I needed. Oh…and at the end of each therapy session…she ensured I was comforted with ice or heat after my sessions! Again, she was my “saving Grace”! Through the whole ordeal, you know how the office staff always gets left out….not on my watch! Destiny (office staff) was a sweetie! She provided my schedule and was always very professional and kind and assisting to whenever I needed to make a change or running a few minutes behind. I can’t say enough good things about all of them…. there were a few others who’ve assisted as well (don’t charge my heart, but my mind), but can’t remember their names. Magruder Pivot was like an extended family for sure…we’ve had some laughs and plenty of facial expressions to go along with those laughs! Again, if you’re looking for a great place that will have you leaving there better than when you started, this is the place you want!! Thanks again to all of you that assisted in my recovery! I still have some ways to go, but thank you Pivot….I’m not where I used to be when I started in July! Hats off to all of you!! Kudos!! Love you all and enjoy your holiday season!!! Fantastic experience: I just completed my treatment at this Pivot location and I could not have asked for a better team. From the first day I stated therapy two months ago until today everyone was professional and kind. The whole team worked well together. I was injured in a serious car accident and suffered from a concussion and neck pain. When I searched for a PT I came across Pivot’s website and read the bio for Reina Chaperon, DPT. I chose Reina because of her education and experience dealing with concussions. I am so glad I found her. She was amazing! She worked with me with patience and compassion. On days when I was feeling down and thinking I was never going to get better she lifted me up. In addition to treating my pain and concussion symptoms she also educated me on why I was feeling the way I was and motivated me to keep going.Reina is very skilled, knowledgeable and a great listener. She came up with a great treatment plan that helped me regain my strength, stamina, and cognitive abilities. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a great DPT.

Fantastic experience: I was very satisfied with the Pivot therapy in Manhattan Square in Hampton. My physical therapist, Sydney Van Ness was excellent. She consulted with the surgeon on what stretches and exercises were required. I liked the timeline she mapped out for a full recovery for my shoulder and biceps. My shoulder hasn't felt this good in years.

Fantastic experience: I was skeptical and scared and couldn’t walk from a knee injury when I walked into PT but Chandra was so welcoming and easy to talk to. After 3 months of exercises that went from easy to challenging I was back to walking again and have never felt better. I love how I can do most of the exercises at home and some days I miss those wonderful physical therapists and their assistants in that office, it felt like a second home by the time I left. I highly recommend them to anyone needing PT, everyone in that office helped me at some point and it was a wonderful experience. Don’t give up when it gets tough you won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience: I recently completed therapy for my shoulder, an injury I've been carrying with me for 20 years. I was hesitant about going to PT wearing a mask and how they would deal with hygiene issues during a pandemic. I was also not very hopeful with this long standing injury ever getting better. The team here turned out to be all great and very synchronized, even the office staff and patients themselves all seemed to be content and working together. Fantastic experience: I needed PT after ACL reconstruction surgery and I can’t be more pleased with Pivot Physical Therapy. Reina Chaperon not only prescribed the needed exercises to quickly rehab my knee, but she also gave me the much needed encouragement and confidence to push through when my fear of re-injury and pain were in my head. Fantastic experience: Very professional and courteous staff. Extremely knowledgeable and quickly got me on the road to recovery! Reina Chaperon and her team remedied my sciatica better and faster than I ever imagined possible. After learning the appropriate stretches and exercises, and sticking with them, I went from barely being able to sit for an hour to taking a month long road trip in the car with no pain!

Positive experience: Well... I started with more knee pain then I have now. I did not complete my entire potential sessions, however, what I am now experiencing is far greater than expected. Fantastic experience: Reina Chaperon, physical therapist, worked to build my strength, balance, and confidence after a significant fall. Reina was very hands on, challenging me each session and continuing to change my activities so it was never boring. I didn't dread going. I appreciated her explanations as to how movements help. Fantastic experience: Very impressed with the staff and my therapist at PIVOT in Hampton, VA. This is my first time ever doing any type of physical therapy, as I have never really had the time, money or dedication to do so. I've had several different areas of pain over the past several years and have had many referrals, but never acted on them until now. And, I am so glad that I did. Only wish I had done it sooner. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at this facility on a number of different occasions and the service is excellent! Chandra and her team are patient, professional and friendly. Alaura always does a great job at the front desk helping me with all of my scheduling and insurance needs. My latest therapist was Sydney, (who was assisted by Marley), I came in barely able to walk from foot pain and thanks to her regimen I am doing so much better today! Fantastic experience: I just finished up my six month long PT plan with Chandra and I must say that the whole process has been terrific. Her knowledge and understanding of my needs was exactly what I required to progress to being able to walk properly again. I went through my PT during the COVID outbreak and the staff constantly strived to keep the equipment clean and sanitary throughout the day. Each bed, chair, and workout equipment was sprayed and wiped down after each patient used them. All of the staff wears a mask to protect their patients and themselves as well. All in all, I am very pleased with my experience at Pivot Physical Therapy - Hampton, VA and would 100% recommend this location to anyone who needs help with their PT needs.

Fantastic experience: I had a pretty complicated right knee injury and December 2020 surgery. I was ‘sent’ to Pivot through our insurance/Dr., and I couldn’t be more pleased. Reina was/is my PT Dr and she couldn’t have been a more personable, professional and dedicated person. I was just ‘discharged’ from her care, not ‘100%’ yet but 110% better than when I started in late December 2020. I would highly recommend this practice, the staff and program. Fantastic experience: The staff all worked well with assisting my recovery. Very friendly people. The location is quite pleasant, with windows overlooking a large fountain. It was never crowded, and it always had a good atmosphere. I appreciated the customized digital workout links that were sent to me; I could play them on my iPad at home to do the home exercises.

Fantastic experience: The whole staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The office staff is easy to work with as far as scheduling and insurance is concerned. When it comes to the actual therapy though, Reina has been my therapist for two separate injuries. I had a lower back problem and a right elbow injury. She is extremely knowledgeable and very very very friendly and personable. I am a military man and her ability to relate to me and my profession really made me comfortable and capable of focusing on healing. A lot of doctors should take notes from this. Fantastic experience: Reina & Chandra at the Manhattan Square location are awesome! Reina was my therapist and she helped me gain strength and mobility. Chandra was absolutely world-class in making sure I progressed to a point where I was able to regain use of my shoulder as well as increase my strength. Chandra personalized the treatment process and progressively walked me through the steps for full recovery. She challenged me every step of the way but it was never more than I was capable of doing. Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with my experience with Pivot PT on Magruder. I had the pleasure of working with Reina and she was fantastic. She listened to my concerns and tailored my PT accordingly. I only had 9 sessions but they were intense (in a good way). I felt like family from the 1st time I walked in there. Fantastic experience: Chandra and the team at the Magruder clinic are the best PT experience I have ever had. A lot of attention and coaching, genuine care along with flexibility and ease of setting appointments really helps with getting life back to normal. All PTs and PTAs work as a team, watching, helping and correcting all who are being treated for the best recovery.
