Hampton Roads Orthopaedics Spine & Sports Medicine - Physical Therapy Center

Negative experience: I had a problem with this place OWCP department cancelling my appointment without my consent. I mentioned this issue to other medical facilities and they found it extremely out of policy. I didn’t get a chance to see a doctor. I have my own private insurance. Never mind workers comp insurance. The schedule even made a bid deal out of it. Does anyone know about this policy even if you wanted to use your own insurance.

Fantastic experience: Great experience seeing Doctor Aldridge on Friday January 19,2024. I am having some awful pain in my left shoulder and I finally called for an appointment and I just can't explain enough how wonderful my experience was from the receptionist (Crystal) she was very professional and kind, she has a great sense of humor and wonderful personality ❤️ I was very pleased with Doctor Aldridge, he seems very caring and shows concern for me as a patient, he was very quick to get Ex-Rays and discuss a plan of care. This office is very fast and through at the same time. The wait time has never been over 15 minutes. I will start some physical therapy as soon as Monday. I have a follow up appointment in 4 weeks, if I need to come in sooner in case the PT doesn't help the pain that's no problem so next visit will determine if I may need surgery on my shoulder. I highly recommend ALL of the doctors i this office for amazing health care.

Fantastic experience: The team at HROSM are the best I've worked with. They worked with me for both shoulders and a knee. Their time we had and instruction they gave me to regain my mobility was right on target. I recommend them to everyone i know.

Fantastic experience: Recently had bilateral knee replacement and this is the place to go for PT without a doubt. Courteous, professional staff all the way through the process. Takes time with each patient and truly cares about your recovery. If you need PT this is the only choice!

Negative experience: I was here for 3 weeks to treat a painful and weak shoulder. Chad was my therapist and we got along great. He gave some exercises I really liked, conservative first and gradually increasing in intensity and effort. I was very happy with progress I was making there, and happy with Chad...until final week. My last 2 sessions there, somehow they switched therapist on me w/o telling me why. The final 2 sessions, there was little value added going there. I could've done these erexcises at home on my own. No manual manipulation (except ultrasound), no new exercises, no evaluation, nothing. A very abrupt and strange ending. A bit disappointed at how it ended.
