Fantastic experience: Just finished my last day of PT following a rotator cuff repair. Had fabulous care and attention at Monarch PT at ODU. I am so happy with my progress and outcome and all the preparation they have given me to get back to the activities I enjoy so much. Highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: My wife Missy was facing her 2nd surgery for a complicated Achilles’ tendon surgery . Having been to another PT for past 6 months proved to only get her recovery but so far. Her surgeon was about to schedule her for another surgery but we requested another PT who might have other techniques to get her to where she needed to be . Lisa at Monarch PT was his recommendation and there we went. That first day with Lisa proved to be the best day my Wife would have towards her recovery. Lisa, Taylor and staff were committed to help Missy avoid another surgery if at all possible. Their diligence, expertise, caring , professional care / therapy program was a success . Missy was treated for approximately 5 months at twice a week schedule. They even prepared Missy for her upcoming complete physical that required her to do a cardio test on a treadmill.. she accomplished that !! Words can’t say how Missy and I feel about Monarch PT except they are our go to PT should the future require such . 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you to all who participated in changing Missy’s life ❤️

Lisa's team truly sees the patient's best recovery potential and fullest life function capacity as a guiding practice for the wide range of applied work with patients. I have seen their impact change lives across a range of conditions. In my case, I was able to return after an injury to re-evaluate optimal maintenance for long-term practice and athletic training. I highly recommend this center to anyone seeking the best practice within the field of Physical Therapy. It is part wellness center, part supportive coach, and overall a completely empowering reminder of the value of experts as conduits to the body's fullest healing potential. The center uses teaching practices to generate the next generation of experts, in a warm, supportive, clean, professional center. I didn't really want to leave, yet when you practice the homework, graduation is ultimately the end goal! I am so grateful to this incredible team, and Lisa's visionary practice as an inspiration!

Fantastic experience: GREAT experience with PT following total knee replacement. Everyone was extraordinarily well-trained, highly competent and knowledgeable, and kind. They continued to give me new exercises to help me improve and regain range of motion, strength, and flexibility. They also encouraged and affirmed me and were patient with me on days when the pain or slow progress early on was difficult. HIGHLY recommend. The clinic is clean, well-managed, easy to get to, and with plenty of parking.

Fantastic experience: My husband suffered a spinal cord injury at the C6 and was paralyzed from the chest down. After spending 12 weeks in acute rehab he was ready for outpatient OT and PT. Monarch Therapy has been a godsend for us. The team of occupational therapists and physical therapist are knowledgeable, caring and give 100% with a smile. My husband‘s progress has been nothing but amazing. He is now able to stand and pivot and to even take steps with a walker with assistance. Fantastic experience: My family went though one the worst times of our lives. My wife broke her back and became paralyzed from the waist down. We spent a month and half in the hospital in Richmond. Coming home think my wife would never walk again. We tried a couple places for physical therapy but non of them seemed very good or had a good outlook on recovery! A friend told us about ODU physical therapy so we gave it try! After one day I knew this was the place! Dr Lisa and her staff are the most amazing compassionate people I have ever met. I look forward coming to therapy with my wife to talk to listen all the amazing stories from doctor Lisa! I would highly recommend this place to anyone that would need physical therapy! Fantastic experience: Monarch Physical Therapy , ODU is fantastic. The PT and Occupational Therapy are both great. You get individually designed therapy always thoughtful done. I was able to go from limited range of motion (ROM) to almost normal passive ROM. I now have good shoulder motion. Physical therapy help me increase walking speed, balance, endurance and strength. All of the therapist are extremely knowledgeable and they collaborate on patients to create synergy and leverage their knowledge base to catapult the therapy to an extremely high level. Each therapist is kind, compassionate, helpful, motivating yet sympathetic. Each encounter begins with a smile and a kind word. The therapist are genuinely interested in each patient. The doctoral PT students bring enthusiasm, energy, knowledge, a fresh look at you with caring. They are fun to work with on our journey. Fantastic experience: ODUPT Clinic is great: the location, the staff, and the equipment. I'm so thankful for the convenient service to meet my medical needs. If I had anything further to add, it would be that they need more space.

Fantastic experience: This is the absolutely the best place for physical therapy. I have found all the staff to be knowledgeable, caring and have created a very welcoming environment. They challenge you to perform your best. I would and have recommended this center for anyone who needs therapy.

Negative experience: Worst people I’ve ever had to deal with. Medically, they’re ignorant. They don’t know how to talk to patients. I would rather be sick then let these people touch me. I heard bad things about it but dang... save your time. Go to a real doctor.
