VHS Rehabilitation

Fantastic experience: All the staff are great at VHS Rehabilitation. Everyone is friendly and everytime I hurt my back John fixes me right up. I would not go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Right off the bat, you feel like you're at the gym with friends. The therapists and Ms. Rushie are so welcoming. I primarily worked with Tony and Sheetle, and a little bit with John. They are AMAZING! I am feeling better than when I started.

Fantastic experience: I have never met a group of Outstanding professionals. Since engaging in physical therapy my lower back pain has improved significantly. Tony, Jon, Sheetal, and Rushie are so friendly and caring of their patients. They provide a family oriented environment to their patients. I’m so impressed how receiving physical therapy has improved my overall mobility and functioning. If you are in need of physical therapy, I recommend this facility 100 percent. I absolutely love this team and their dedication to ensuring their patients are better and healthier. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Fantastic experience: 10++ stars!!! The lower back pain I was having was debilitating; I couldn’t even sneeze without almost crying and it was affecting my entire life. The team here is THE most professional, friendly, experienced, and effective I have ever seen. There is no other place I would recommend. I am now back living a full life. Thank you VHS!!!!

Fantastic experience: Had an awesome experience at VHS. Everyone is welcoming, lots of laugh. They care about their patients. Left they’re feeling much better as opposed to when I came in for me knee injury. Enjoyed working with Tony , heard my needs and problems. Really helped me regain strength in my knee. I recommend anyone in the military looking for a civilian physical therapist to visit VHS ,it’s a much better experience.

Fantastic experience: As a US NAVY Active Duty Personnel that is about to retire I would love to thank the crew and the family based vibe of the facility where I was being treated for knee and back pain. They also work with your availability through proper scheduling.This organization is professionally handled by talented Administrative Staff Members, alongside 3 Physical Therapist and an Occupational Therapist with more than 30 years of combined work experience in the medical industry treating Veterans, Seniors, Children, the Youth and of the Port Warwick Region. I highly recommend their services to anyone interested in getting better through Physical and Occupational Therapy.

Fantastic experience: "Welcome Home!" This is what you feel from the moment you enter this establishment. The staff greet you with a warm welcome and you feel at ease. They are an Excellent group of friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and passionate individuals. I received Physical therapy here at the VHR(Port Warwick) and I would refer anyone here. Jon was the first therapist I worked with and he was AMAZING!!! He cared for me every step of the way and it was so genuine. I cried my first day because he really gave me words that I needed to hear. He told me "you have to stop living in fear and you are gonna get your life back." He recognized how nervous I was to do some of the movements because I was afraid to feel the pain I had experience prior to coming to VHR. At that moment I knew this was just not a therapist trying to do his daily job and get me out of there but he actually took every part of his job serious and with great compassion, not only to help but to motivate his clients as well. I was also blessed with having the opportunity to work with another therapist named Tony. It just got better and better... this was just a Dynamic duo!! Tony also had so much passion and was great with his techniques. He wanted to make sure that the level of care was still at its high and 100% focus on my needs. I couldn't ask for a better place to be, this facility by far exceeded my expectations of Physical therapy. I truly miss them already. The day I got discharged it was bittersweet but I will not be a stranger... like Jon states "you are part of the family." Thank you VHR and all of your staff for a Superb experience, you All are Great!!!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to VGS by my orthopedic Dr & I went in with pain, but after a month I am sleeping ,walking , feeling positive about myself , I recommend VHS because the atomoshere is positive , the workers are professional and caring with the patients that I saw come in , most of all I feel better

Fantastic experience: I worked with PT, Beth for the rehab of my back. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would. She was the best therapist I have ever worked with. She motivated me, she came up with some of the most amazing interventions to help me stand up straighter. She Pushed me through the pain. My strength improved significantly, and I am better than ever. Thank you, Virginia health home care!

Fantastic experience: If you need to be seen for Physical Therapy, this is the place!! I have been treated by 4 different Physical Therapist over the years and for different issues; I love all of them. Their knowledge, compassion, kindness and professionalism is top notch. And if you have Tri-Care they accept it here!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to VHR on and off for several years. I’ve worked with three Physical Therapist’ and they have all been great! I’ve been to other facilities and VHR is by far the best for numerous reasons . I’m working with Jon right now and he has already helped with me with my knee issues and I’ve only had three sessions. I’ve been dealing with this for over a year and in hindsight, I should have gone to PT sooner. Thanks Jon for caring so much about your patients !

Fantastic experience: Jon Sterner is by far the best PT that I've ever had! His knowledge of the SI Joint and ability to evaluate is second to none. Jon is able to create relief by adjustments and give effective exercises for long term stabilization. I really appreciate his inspiring "talks" when I get down and negative, if and when the journey to recover isn't as fast as I want. Jon is great at his craft and incredible at physician- patient relations.

Fantastic experience: Virginia Health Rehab has been a lifesaver for me. After an injury I started PT with another facility. While everything was going well, I wanted to explore different options in the area. Every aspect of VHR works perfectly; I have joked that during these times, VHR is the only thing going well for me! I called expecting to wait several weeks for an appointment, but they were able to see me within a week. The office staff is both friendly and professional. The PT I see is John; he is a miracle worker. Within two visits, I was able to do things I had not done in over two months. He works with his patients the entire session ensuring the exercises you will do at home are being done correctly. His knowledge and experience combine to make him simply amazing. He is personable and easy to talk to while doing therapy. John also makes sure that his patients are in a great place mentally with encouragement and care. I can't say enough about how wonderful VHR has been - choosing to do PT here has been a life changing experience.
