Fantastic experience: Staff there is friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of Physical Therapy. They have many great therapists AND are able to accommodate the busiest of schedules. I have been there a couple times for different issues (back pain, hip tendinitis) therapy at this location has made a positive difference !!!

Fantastic experience: After two hip replacements and two rounds of physical therapy, I can honestly say the PTSMC in West Hartford played a big role in my recovery. The therapists are quite skilled, in particular, Stephany Rozsa, who worked with me on both occasions. I highly recommend this center for your recovery.

Fantastic experience: Very impressed! So much better than my last physio experience. Affordable, professional, and en pointe with exercise regime. It has only been a month and I've already had signifant improvement with increased mobility and lowered pain level for my excruciating shoulder injuries. I highly recommend the tender but strict ministrations of Katie, the lovely, kind therapist.

Fantastic experience: I've been undergoing physical therapy for several years (severe spinal stenosis, total hip replacement, etc.), with therapists ranging from disengaged and/or incompetent to outstanding. It's my good luck that I found PTSMC while searching for physical therapy and read the enthusiastic reviews of every physical therapist there. The comments about Stephany and Katie particularly caught my attention, so I asked to work with one of them. I'm happy to report that Stephany is great to work with and as expert a physical therapist as I've encountered. We are working on pain from my spinal stenosis as well as an extremely painful shoulder that I injured in a fall. Stephany's work with me as well as the exercises that she's assigned me are already helping quite noticeably. It's a welcome bonus that she's very pleasant and patient, even with an old man babbling in her ear. The facility itself is bright and clean and inviting.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to PTSMC in March for a running-related knee issue that had me sidelined for close to a year. After working with Spencer LeBel for only a few weeks, my knee was feeling better and I was up and running and training for a November marathon. A few other foot and leg issues cropped up throughout the course of my training and Spencer was able to quickly and effectively diagnose and treat the issues without having to alter my training program. Now a month out from my marathon, I'm feeling very confident in my ability to finish in my goal time, something I could not have said before I started PT. Thanks Spencer!

Fantastic experience: Attention all runners! I acquired a hip injury while training for my first marathon. I was nervous it was going to effect my training schedule and make my goals unobtainable. I was referred here by my pcp and I am so glad I listened. I had never done PT before so I had no idea what to expect. I was told by the very helpful front staff that I would be best paired with Spencer LeBel as he was their running specialist. He was very professional and set me up with a training regiment to both help strengthen my injury and reduce the interruption to my marathon training. I was honestly skeptical that such simple movements could help and also allow me to be ready for a 26.2 mile race. But now that I have officially finished PT, and I have accomplished every single running goal I had this year which includes finishing my first marathon at the pace I was training for, I feel I have the responsibility to tell other runners about this place and about Spencer. Any runners out there. Stop running injured. Pt will help you accomplish your goals. Spencer has been incredible.

Fantastic experience: EVERYONE at the facility is AWESOME! They all make you feel comfortable and welcome. My Therapist Tom is wonderful. He explains things and answers any questions I have and he does it in a way I can understand what he is talking about as opposed to using medical terminology I might not understand. Going to physical therapy is like going and hanging out with family (at least the ones you actually like to hang out with). I would recommend 1000 %!!

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to PTSMC West Hartford when I started having knee troubles. I have never been to physical therapy, so I wasn't sure how it would work out. After 3 consecutive weeks of going and working with Spencer, my knee has been feeling much better to where we are now going to every other week visits and pushing it a little more in the gym. Cannot recommend this location enough!

Fantastic experience: This is, hands down, the best PT experience I have ever had. I went to Spencer LeBel just 8 weeks ago with an leg injury that has kept me from running for 9 months. Even going up stairs was painful. I cannot believe that I have progressed to the point that I can now run shorter distances pain free. I have no doubt I will be back to where I was very soon. He was so positive and encouraging. On my first day I felt better! That has a lot to do with his attitude....."you will be running again soon". The whole vibe of PTSMC is really outstanding. They know your name after one visit! And most importantly, this is one on one care, not someone working with 3 other people at the same time. I will need to ask Spencer for lots of business cards to pass out to anyone who needs a good Physical Therapist.

Fantastic experience: I chose PTSM because Stephanie Rozsa is there. She previously treated me for other issues when with another practice. Was happy to find her. She and all of the PTs are great, are the front desk staff. They schedule appropriately so your get the attention of your PT. Good facility with appropriate equipment.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic center for physical therapy after my PRP injections. Katie was amazing and followed me through each exercise to help me improve my fitness recovery. Everyone there was willing to help each other out too, quite a team here.

Fantastic experience: Had some acute swelling on and off over the Summer and Fall from strenuous activity and overuse. Doctors recommended physical therapy. For several weeks now I've had the good fortune of working with Stephany Rosza, a therapist with PTSMC West Hartford. Stephany's dedication and professionalism has really helped to improve the strength and mobility in my feet, ankles and knees. I've found all the staff at this location to be very friendly, competent and professional. I would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for various injuries over the past three years and have undergone successful treatment for each. They tailor treatment to your activity of choice and, importantly, take the time to explain the mechanics of each exercise and why it will help you physiologically. I have left each session feeling confident that I am one step closer to pre-injury health. Overall, the warmth and expertise exhibited from the staff and service providers are second to none and I actively recommend their services.

Fantastic experience: I have been receiving post operative treatment twice a week for 11 weeks now for a torn bicep and Rotator Cuff. Treatment has been very effective and my recovery has been a bit faster than normal. My surgeon was also impressed with the rate of recovery. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. The facility is kept very clean and well equipped. Everyone is very friendly. I would recommend without hesitation.

Everyone, from Amy and Heather, to the Physical Therapists and Aides are all focused on patient care and outcomes. Liz is an incredibly thorough and knowledgeable clinician. Fantastic experience: Katie and Vlad were amazing! I had a knee issue related to trail running which they discovered was actually a hip strength issue. They took me from pain when walking 2 miles to finishing my 50 mile trail run with flying colors! They also helped my strength/coordination so much I’m not easily able to do skills I couldn’t do with my “bad” side before, like clipping into my bicycle for rides. Thanks, Katie and Vlad!!!

Fantastic experience: I love showing up for my appointments. From the moment I walk in the door I am always greeted with a smile. Miguel has done wonders for my neck pain and shoulder pain which I have dealt with for years. Not only have I received relief from chronic discomfort but I have gained strength and been given a number of exercises and stretches which I can use daily to keep tension and pain at bay. I trust Tom and his team and was beyond happy to recommend them to my father for PT after a hip replacement. True professionals at the top of their game!

I have been to other therapists but never seen an individual like Tom Who is 100% professional, caring and Very knowledgeable of his work and most important the passion he has in what he does, Tom really cares for his Patients, he takes the time to explain everything about the treatments and answer any questions you have.
