TVHC provides a broad array of healthcare services, such as medical, dental, mental health, youth health, community health education, family support, and WIC nutrition services, to people with low incomes, limited English language skills, no insurance, or public insurance.

The Tri-Valley Health Center operates nine primary care clinics, four nutrition centers specifically for Women, Infants, and Children, eight mental health services at schools, and one facility that provides both behavioral health and family support services. Our prices are affordable, making quality medical care accessible even if you don't have health insurance.

Negative experience: This place is the worst for preventing infections and disease amongst children !! My almost 2 year old went here and was perfectly healthy, and comes back home with Hands mouth foot disease! Their unsanitary children's "play area". Is the culprit for this! My child shouldn't have to suffer from their lack of sanitation! Please don't take your children here

Negative experience: No se que decir la verdad pues me da tristeza y coraje que durante 3 meses casi 4 que tenia mi esposa de embarazo en las 2 unicas citas que tuvo del control nomas una prueba de orina y la otra pa agendar proximas citas apenas y para 1 dia antes del ultrasonido programado por esta institución, ella sangrara y perdiera nuestro bebe (al parecer no tenia latido) y me da impotencia el no poder saber que hacer al respecto

Negative experience: The worst clinic of them all. If you want to see a doctor here, it’ll take not only 2 months, 4 MONTHS!!! Most doctor are empty mostly because they’ll literally go on vacation the days you reserved and it’s even more messier to wait even longer. Those who are thinking to change clinics, NEVER CHOOSE THIS ONE!! You deal with horrible front customer service, doctors will try to make any appointments to get canceled and really bad attitude and don’t care about your concerns. Fantastic experience: Been coming here since 2010. It's gotten a lot better. At the front desk there's a worker by the name of Delia. Although I was 20 minutes late She was very understanding. She goes beyond the regular person that just checks people in on a daily basis. She was very friendly & professional . She just overall made my day better. She was able to schedule me in a phone apt. All worked out well. Also I want to give a shout out to Jesus who schedules new apts. He also was friendly,polite & very professional. Thanks to Y'all's Awemostis new employees .That makes a difference. The people feel more welcome at ease & not just overall pushed through like cattle. ➕

Negative experience: Making any type of appointment here is a nightmare. They always give me appointments a month from now. I have to do a Pap test and they told me they can’t do them because of COVID and they’re only available for people that have symptoms of abnormalities. And if you do have symptoms of abnormalities, you have to tell them what they are and they’ll put you on the “list”, I have not heard back from them. Definitely don’t come here if you have any concerns.

Negative experience: Worst experience ever. Every time I come they are so unprofessional. Wait times to talk to someone are never less than one hour and don’t bother texting or asking for a call back because they don’t want to help. and it’s unfortunate they don’t have walk in services because if your baby is very sick they can’t write a prescription or get you to see a doctor. They will literally leave your baby to be sick and not get help

Negative experience: This is not a clinic. This feels more like a zoo. Every time you want to get an appointment, the next available appointment is going to be 40-60 days from the day of the reservation. It doesn’t matter if you need to see the doctor for something urgent or not. My mom has a severe back and knee pain. We booked an appointment in January for an appointment in March. Did the tests that the doctor recommended and then we had to wait ALL THE WAY TILL END OF MAY. 5 months wait just so the doctor can prescribe a cream for her that she can get off of the counter. Doctor Hardeep kaur had no care for my mom at all. One word RIDICULOUS!!

Negative experience: The catastrophe of the treatment system got some order to do everything to depopulate people and not to help !!! It's high time to end this farm and not save people, but fill them with chemicals and destroy other healthy organs !!! I have been asking them for a month for an antibiotic that would help me with my bronchitis, but unfortunately the doctor does not see such an option. They told me to take Tylenol 3 times a day after which I feel very bad and it is bad for my health and not helping. Doctors took the Hippocratic Oath and they operate by selling chemicals, not treating people! People wake up, END CHEATING US !!!

Negative experience: This place sucksssssssss.... I cannot believe there are clinics like this around & open still. Half the staff in the hayward-Mission clinic never want to seem to work, they hardly ever answer the phone. Laughing & having private conversations in front instead of taking next person in line right away.. The doctors are always gone, & I'm not exaggerating- on vacation, family emergency every month & their telling me that they only have 1 doctor to prescribed the ADHD medication in the area, I find is beyond berserk !!‍♀️ Please this place needs to get their system together & fix these problems.. Kudos to the Nurse Olga. She is always awesome & respectful. I thank you Nurse .

Negative experience: FYI LONG READ....I was asked to take a COVID test due to the symptoms I was having on 10/26/2020. Upon arrival I was given a number to notify the nurses. Before you take the test the nurse advises you that she will be swabbing (nostrils) twice. One will be tested at Tiburcio while the other is sent to Quest Diagnostics. Tiburcio will provide results in 30min, as for Quest Diagnostics 3-5 days. What I got from the representative who provided my results in 30min that even though my test came back negative Quest Diagnostics results are more accurate therefore self quarantine in the meantime. Fast forward to 11/2/2020, I received a call from a nurse stating my results came back negative, BEST NEWS TO RECEIVE after being in quarantine for about a week. BTW the staff there are amazing and will do anything to help in the best way they can. HOWEVER the clinic has a poor choice of some not all physicians. I went to medical records soon after I received the call. Per documents Dr Sonja received my test results on 10/29, no phone call received in regards to my test results. Clearly printed above one of the documents Dr Sonja notes were entered 11/1/2020 please notify pt (patient) of results. I could of returned to work sooner had I received these results in time. Today is 11/3/2020 and I’m going back and forth with the physician to be excused for the remaining days I have been out of work. HIGHLY DISSATISFIED with the physician performance. Looking into another provider to avoid another mishap.

Negative experience: I had a phone appointment a week ago nobody call , I call them and they said they called me but nobody answer (I was next to my phone waiting on them) I had to schedule another one a week later so today I was wait again and nothing ,they are not accepting patients in the clinic because of the COVID virus so how I’m i supposed to get diagnosed!! Negative experience: I made an appointment for my 4 year old son who had an inflammatory ear infection. The nurses where alright but the doctor, Olga Kashlinskaya, who attended me had a terrible attitude and gave a prescription of pills for my 4 YEAR OLD SON. I had to call again to change the prescription with my son was in pain and I had to wait another day to pick up the prescription. I’m very disappointed with the doctor and her lack of professionalism.

Fantastic experience: I went in today for the first time as a new patient to this clinic and I won’t lie I was nevous after reading all the reviews. I had very low expectations because when I walked in there were a lot of people waiting to be seen. The line was a bit long. But to my surprise the line went quickly and soon as I sat down a lot of the other patients were being called to see their doctors. The wait wasn’t long and everyone was super nice and helpful. Needles to say I had an overall great experience my doctor was nice Dr. Susanne Seger and her nurses and even the nice receptions up front who helped me get signed in.

Negative experience: This is just not accepted. Went there to get my finger pricked and the MA in the adults departments did not wash her hands what so ever, nor sanitize them, or at least wear gloves. And after all that she was just plain unprofessional with the way she was acting towards me as I was making an appointment. She’s way too “busy” talking to her coworker using her cellphone under desk so she wouldn’t get caught. If for any reason I will provide names. Thanks to the staff members I know the names of those two workers.

Negative experience: Alright. I scheduled an appointment for 9:00 am. I’ll admit, I came late 10 min but I stormed in and asked if I can make it to my appointment. Mind you I called the office twice about how I am going to be late due to traffic and they responded “just come in as soon as possible, if not you’re going to have to slide in at 2:15.” I feel relieved and excited to get this physical form signed and go to school right after. I sacrificed a lot for this appointment. This physical form was quite important to me because I waited all year to do track. But no, they just cancel my appointment and do nothing about it. They could’ve honestly just slide me in because it really just takes ten minutes to get the physical signed but I guess the office lady didn’t think the same. I know that it takes ten minutes because right after, I went to a different clinic and made the appointment on the same day and I got it signed in ten or fifteen minutes. Wow. Just wow. I waited all week for the appointment for the Tiburcio Vasquez Health center and they cancel me because I am 10 minutes late? :,( well anyway this is my story I don’t know what will happen to you guys in the future but in my opinion it really sucked :( sorry for my bad paragraph

Positive experience: Dr.Jack is the best Chiropractor in the market. My husband and I have been going with him every month since we first met him. Our health and everyday life has been better with a simple adjustment every month or so. Most people only go when theirs a problem with their back or neck, but little do people know that if you go often you prevent and improve overall health.

Negative experience: I was trying to help a sick friend who had been having a fever and a headache for a week, and found this clinic for folks who do not have health insurance. My friend was denied Medi-cal because she and her husband made more that 22k per year together, but she is also taking care of teenage her brother and is struggling to make bills. Anyway once she arrived, they interviewed her and then made her go to her boss and get verification of her wages whilst she was sick, and then when she returned with the paper, she was told that they could do nothing for her because they were all booked up. So she went to Highland emergency (she was trying not to go here because of her insurance situation) and her temperature was now 105 degrees. She was basically dying and Tiberico Vasquez did nothing but exacerbate her sickness by making her go pick up paperwork and then doing nothing. Hours were wasted, and she could have died. What happened to the Hippocratic Oath?

Negative experience: The clinic has staff that are not knowledgeable and cannot provide patients with proper information about their health care options, in particular nurses and receptionists. The demeanor they show towards patients is neglectful and disregard. It is unfortunate because they have great doctors, nurse practitioners, PA's, that show concern for their patients. Quite sad.
