Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at California Rehab & Sports Therapy. Everyone there is professional, friendly, and helpful. Chad worked with me on my post-op knee, and on my strained back and I have had excellent results. I mainly worked with Chad after my initial evaluation with Will, and I will not hesitate to request him if I ever need to return for physical therapy. I wholeheartedly recommend CA Rehab and Sports Therapy to anyone who needs physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: This is a really top-notch place to get PT! The staff are VERY friendly and helpful. My therapist, Stephan, listened carefully to my initial problems, and designed a series of stretches and exercises I could do both at the facility and at home, to help me achieve my goals. Coy, the PT assistant who worked with me, carefully explained how to do each stretch or exercise, and then coached me as I did them at the facility. Between the two of them — as well as my own dedication to following through at home — we were able to significantly reduce my pain and improve my strength and flexibility in about 3 weeks. The facility is also VERY nice: bright, well stocked, and with a positive atmosphere. I’d heartily recommend it to anyone who needs PT!

Everyone is friendly, and helpful, and great all around. The front desk also will answer your questions politely. The facility is spacious, open and extremely clean. Fantastic experience: California Rehabilitation and Sports Therapy took amazing care of my son after his knee injury. My son actually looked forward to every appointment and was sad when he was finished. They taught him great skills to continue his progress at home as well.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience at this CalRehab location! I was lucky enough to be assigned here as a student on clinical rotation, and was so blessed to be able to learn and grow in the ways that I did. I found that both the PT staff and the OT staff were incredibly well-trained, ethical, and hard-working. These were people that knew their practice well, and they knew/know how to tailor their experiences and learning to the needs of their patients. I also found the facility to be kept incredibly clean and well managed (shout out to Brent and the other rehab aides for all the hard work they do). Above all what most impressed me was the quality of the people. From the the PT side of things with Bryan Stewart the Director and his "go get em" attitude to Stephan, Katy, Brett, Chad, Dana, Shannon, and Will- these were people that cared, and that knew how to care. I unfortunately wasn't able to spend as much time with the OT side of things, but was always impressed with the care that people like Tim, Mariah, and Lenise provided to their patients. All the times that I would see the patients from OT they would be doing so with a smile, or a look of relief on their face. The front desk staff (Jess, Ryan, and Alaa) were also incredibly well trained and did a great job of doing their best to cater the clinic and clinician's availability to patient schedules. I could go on, but I will leave it at this- CalRehab is a place I would feel comfortable going, but more important it is a place that I would feel comfortable taking my family. Things are done well, ethically, and excellent care is given. Hard to ask for more from a clinic. 5 stars and 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had PT for lower back pain caused by excessive coughing from Bronchitis. CA Rehab and Sports Therapy was approved by my Kaiser Insurance. The therapists were excellent. William was my main therapist and he adjusted the therapy to my needs as I improved. He provided exercise sheets to take home and do daily. If you follow the exercises and do at-home as well, you will see remarkable improvements! This is a large scale therapy area, but there are private rooms for consultations or therapy. They have a strict policy fine for clients who miss their appointment. You must give 24 hours notice to cancel. I highly recommend CA Rehab in Huntington Beach. Roxana Ross

Fantastic experience: I came to physical therapy due to stiffness and pain on the right side of my neck. The therapist I worked with was William Danse. Since I’ve worked with him the stiffness is mostly gone. I still have some discomfort when I turn my neck to the right but it has been greatly reduced. Will was always pleasant and a pleasure to work with.

Fantastic experience: I really like the personal care and the attitude of everyone in the Huntington Beach Center (Warner and Goldenwest). That includes the front desk and all of the team members. Stephan Yang is super caring and friendly. He informs you of the reason for the various exercises which gives you confidence in what you are doing. He has a very calm and friendly manner and you leave the session thinking it is like you have know this man for a long time. He is the kind of person you wouldn't mind sitting down and having a beer with him.

Fantastic experience: I called the office today at 5:05 PM on 8/7/24, but I can’t recall the name of the person I spoke with. I was very impressed by the efficiency and customer-focused approach of the staff. I was seeking a 6 PM appointment, and she went above and beyond to find availability. This level of customer service truly stands out, and I hope she receives recognition for her efforts!

Fantastic experience: This placed saved my life and allowed me to not only be able to enjoy daily tasks again pain free but also to work without pain!! I came for Occupational Therapy and saw a few different therapists who were all knowledgeable and lovely to talk to. Hands down Joel was my saving grace! I cannot thank this place and Joel enough! After being in tremendous pain for over a year and not receiving proper treatment at other places I finally received the proper care. I had a micro tear in my rotator cuff and AC joint separation in April 2023. Since I received little to no treatment at another Physical Therapy office and the nature of my work, my body compensated in other ways causing me to be diagnosed with Quervain tendonitis in April of 2024. I initially was referred by my doctor who had said I would probably need surgery but the treatment I received here made it possible to avoid it. Follow what your OT recommends AND DO THE EXERCISES AT HOME DAILY and you will see incredible results. I’m so happy with just how thorough Joel has been with my various injuries. He has given me the knowledge to understand why they happened in the first place and how to care and strengthen them along the way. Treatment was not easy and painful at times but I am so happy I pushed through it because this clinic changed my life for the better. This facility has an upbeat vibe, is clean and well maintained. The only feedback I have is with front desk scheduling. I schedule my appointments in advance and twice had them cancel and wasn’t given enough time to reschedule.

Positive experience: I appreciate the “hands-on” approach to physical therapy including massages and “cupping” as well as hot/cold packs. The therapists are professional and friendly. I gave four stars only because I may have gotten more out of having one therapist as opposed to multiple. This however allows for flexible scheduling which I appreciated.

Positive experience: I would give the service a 5/5, unfortunately the billing department failed me miserably. I came here in March of 2023 for PT on my fractured ankle. I visited 3 times and paid my copay with no issues. After my 3rd visit, I stopped going because I saw no need. Issues started on May 10, 2024 when I got a statement in the mail saying that my balance of $1000+ was late and my insurance paid nothing. After months of going back and forth with the billing representative, she tells me that she cannot submit claims that are over a year old to another insurance. This was super frustrating as it wasn't my fault that the claims were over a year old. I had insurance and the establishment failed to process them on time. Now in 2024, I have to pay an absurd amount for a service that I received in 2023 and the representative from the billing department basically left me no choice to either pay a cash rate per visit or my late statement balance.

Fantastic experience: Great Location! Nice, clean and bright environment. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful. The cherry on top is my physical therapist: he is very knowledgeable, charismatic, and provides me with different resources to assist me in meeting my goals. Most importantly, he listens to my needs and concerns and makes the appropriate accommodations. I am so so fortunate to have such an experienced therapist, Stephan. Very happy to be working with him on my way to recovery! I look forward to coming to therapy every week!

Fantastic experience: This is a great rehab facility led by Bryan Stewart. Bryan and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and sensitive to your needs. They ensure that the exercise is appropriate and avoids pain or injury. The clinic is well managed as there were virtually no wait times for the staff to attend to you or to use the equipment. I greatly recommend this facility for physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this place based on my own experience. I got a left shoulder injury last July while playing pickle ball. Before coming to Cal Rehab, I had taken a number of actions to deal with the pain without much success, including X-Ray, MRI, physical therapy, acupuncture, steroid shot, etc. I was a little worried that I would permanently lose some of my shoulder capability. I started Cal Rehab physical therapy on May 15th with initial 6 treatments finished yesterday. I feel my shoulder condition has gained a significant improvement. I can now use my left arm to open/close car door, turn wheel, put on/take off clothes and shoes, etc. Although there are still some difficulties for me in reaching some parts of my body, lifting heavy things, or playing pickle ball (using right arm), I am very hopeful now to get my whole left shoulder back eventually. I would particularly like to mention Dr. Stephan Yang, my Physical Therapist. He did the initial assessment and treatment. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and decisive, focusing on various stretching treatments, which turns out to be strategically correct. He gave me several daily home assignment using a phone app, which is very important, reminding me to continuously stretch shoulder joint and strengthen muscles. I expanded the exercise myself following the same idea. Besides Stephan, I also got treatment from PTA Chad and Shannon. They are both very professional. Each time after their treatment, my shoulder felt better. The facility at Cal Rehab is very good and adequate. I especially like their big pad put on the shoulder right after the treatment for 10 minutes.

Fantastic experience: You will not be disappointed if you choose California Rehabilitation as your provider for an accident, injury or recovery from Surgery. I found the staff to be caring and helpful. They are all excellent in their field and work together as a cohesive team, all for a common goal, necessary for recovery My therapist was Chad, he was amazing and super caring providing the highest level of care with his knowledge and experience.You can tell he loves his job. I had a back injury that was painful and had problems putting socks on, by the end I was able to recover and get my mobility back. You will not be disappointed with the team they have on staff

Fantastic experience: Great learning experience that not only challenges you but also significantly helps you understand the application and differences of didactic knowledge and clinical practice. I thought it would be an overwhelming clinical experience but the CIs really help in guiding you but at the same time allow you to figure out your own answers and solutions.

Positive experience: Yes your therapists are wonderful! But your front desk is horrific! They don’t answer the phone or return calls. They are not on top of referrals or getting more sessions for the client. Incredibly rude! They have the power to ignore the client and choose not to provide therapy! I have had nothing but problems with the Huntington Beach location on Warner.

Fantastic experience: My physical therapist, Stephan Yang is very conscientious in making sure that Im getting the right therapy for my left knee after my total knee replacement surgery. He also has a pleasing personality and tries his best to make me feel at ease. His associates are also good and well mannered.
