Fantastic experience: I just completed 2 rounds of 12 physical therapy sessions with Dave at Synergy for a potentially torn rotator cuff. I am extremely pleased with my progress in the careful and skillful hands of Dave and his staff. Dave Ishii leads/owns a well run, organized and warm PT environment. The facilities are clean and well kept. Each time I walked in the staff greeted me by name and and were always one step ahead of me to keep my exercises set up and my time efficient. Dave is incredibly well versed in all things PT, human anatomy and medical related. He handles insurance companies effectively to support client needs to the best of his ability. Dave is a fantastic business owner and supports his clients and the Huntington Beach community. I have gone to PT at other companies which were fine, but synergy is exceptional! Fantastic experience: I came to David at Synergy physical therapy a few months ago. I had a major ankle injury in October 2021 that required surgery in February 2022. I was going to a physical therapist for more than a year, that put me through the same basic treatments that were unsuccessful. I was very frustrated. Still dealing with pain and swelling, I was upset because of my limited mobility and strength. David and his teams gave me the help i needed. Our treatments have been back, neck, bilateral shoulders, bilateral knees including knee replacement and ACL, Achilles tendon surgery and biceps tendon repair. Every time we’ve been treated by Dave and his physical therapists with positive outcomes. We will not go anywhere else. My husband and I highly recommend Synergy Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: Dave! I can’t say enough amazing things about this guy! I had a ski accident and dislocated my shoulder. I’m a wimp and I held my arm in a sling for way too long and got frozen shoulder…. The knowledge, the encouragement and the exercises I was given helped me navigate this injury. Dave and his staff helped me get through this and today I’m back on the slopes and I can do pull ups again! So, to Dave and all the wonderful people at Synergy, thank you!

Fantastic experience: I came in after an ACL surgery after three similar rehabs (on the same knee) at other therapy places that all resulted in re-injury. After coming here, I have never been so confident in a rehab. My knee feels stronger than ever, and I left with no complaints. The therapists are knowledgeable and actually care for their patients. The aids are attentive and keep the sometimes monotonous rehab fresh and exciting. I’d recommend Synergy to anyone that needs it, athletes or not. Going back to the sports I love has always seemed scary after I finished my rehabs, but now I feel 100% confident.

Fantastic experience: I have been to Synergy for 3 separate issues and have been extremely pleased with not only my results but also the concern and care given by the therapists (PTs) and their assistants. I have also used their Physical Trainer to continue with my strength and physical conditioning. He is very knowledgeable and caring as well.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended by my neighbor to go to Synergy for physical therapy after suffering patellofemoral pain syndrome & ankle pain during quarantine after trying to stay in shape. I completed about 2 full 12 weeks sessions there. I can honestly say they took great care of me and taught me great exercises to keep up at home. My knee pain is now minimal and ankle pain gone. Dave & staff were stellar. They were very nice and knowledgeable. Dave ensured I had positive tissue changes before discharging me. I forgot one of my session times and turned out to be 30 min late and they called and fit me later that day without any issues and were very understanding. They are constantly cleaning between patient use and only using every other table to maintain social distancing. I highly recommend Synergy if you need physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: I am 59 years old and have had knee pain caused from arthritis that was slowing me down from the physical activity that was so important to me. I was impressed with Dave and his entire staff. They were attentive to my goals and worked to develop a plan to allow me to get back to the physical activity I had previously enjoyed. Synergy has a family feel to it and the therapists and assistants who I worked with knew my goals and everyone is caring and kind. They are very attentive and helpful explaining the rationale for the exercises selected and ensuring they are done correctly for maximum benefit. The facility is immaculate - great effort goes into maintaining a safe and environment for the patients and staff. I have my 87 year old father going there now and he is also very happy with the care he is receiving (a sharp contrast from the other therapy location he was attending). I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: WOW what a great place. David, the owner is super hands on and extremely knowledgeable. He explains things in a way a layman can understand without talking down to you. Also, and probably more importantly, there was ZERO turn over from the staff in the 4 months that I attended there. If you compare that to other PT places that I have been to in the area that is astounding. One place I had a new therapist every 3 weeks for 3 months. NOT THIS PLACE. AWESOME.

Fantastic experience: Dave is the best P.T. He helped heal my left hip so well. When the same tears and pain in my right hip came up, I knew exactly where to go.

Fantastic experience: The Synergy team is friendly and they open early at 7 am so you can squeeze in a session before work. Dave the owner is onsite everyday and works personally with each patient or supervises while you work with his staff. His explanations of why you're doing each exercise are detailed and informative. I never felt like they were watching the clock and trying to push me out the door when my 60 minutes were up and most days my sessions ran long.

Fantastic experience: So I injure my shoulder, go to my doctor, and he recommends me to do some physical therapy. At first thought I wasn’t very optimistic about how much it was going to benefit me, but after the first few sessions I began to notice significant improvements in my shoulder. After a couple months I’m back to doing all the activities I was doing before I acquired the injury. The outstanding group of individuals at Synergy definitely made the process of recovering a lot easier and enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dave at Synergy for years. For my two knee replacements and rt hip replacement and now just finished with a right shoulder debridement therapy. I am completely back to almost as good as when I was 60, I am 76 now and still do lots of jobs that I need my shoulder for. I am replacing windows, putting in French doors where the sliders were. Putting vinyl fence on top if block walls. Anyway enough bragging, but I love Synergy and all of the techs that work there.
